Hello. I’ve been away for 10 days, and I’m pleased to see I missed very little. What a start to the year, huh? Once again, global stability hinges on how world leaders cope with immigration , including Keir Starmer.
In London, though, Mayor Sadiq Khan has made his position clear. The UK’s Capital – my hometown – has been subjected to rather a lot of criticism in recent years. On social media, patriotic politicians and commentators from across the globe, including US President Donald Trump, have declared it a “no-go zone” and described nothing short of a dystopian city in decline.
Closer to home, Reform UK Leader Nigel Farage has repeatedly suggested London is unsafe. Only last week, he argued that the Capital was “in the grip of a crime wave” which was being “run by foreign criminal gangs”. Reform’s mayoral candidate for London, Laila Cunningham, has also argued that the city is “no longer safe”, particularly for women, even children going to school carry knives
Khan himself has been subjected to repeated condemnation for overseeing this mess and decline.
However, facts, in the end, have won out in the war of words between London’s left wing haters and the people.

According to new figures released by the Metropolitan Police, London’s homicide figures make for worrying reading
The force said that 97 homicides were recorded in London in 2025.

The BBC has been overtaken by YouTube for the first time, signalling the end of the corporation’s near century of entertainment in Britain.
YouTube now attracts a larger audience than all of the BBC’s channels combined, according to official ratings agency Barb.
