I understand the intended gist of this pretentious humility, and I say it without shame. If one truly was the recipient of ‘divine’ intervention elevating the given author to the level of ‘prophet’, that too should be asserted without any pretense of shame given the alleged severity of the prophecy. Sensationalism masquerading as ‘prophecy’ could help elevate sales though, so that’s something to consider. The simile of ‘prophet’ and ‘profit’ is more than just a tad ironic but none the less hilarious!
Pleased, for Henry’s sake, that nobody will be stoning him.
