In Genesis 6 and 1 Enoch (yes, they say that Enoch was written afterwards, but 1 Enoch was found within the Dead Sea Scrolls and correlates with Genesis 6) it states that the Sons of God/Watchers made a decision to marry the daughters of Adam and their offspring were the Nephilim. The Nephilim ‘sinned with the beasts’ not just primates, but many different species creating chimera offspring. I have a lot of interest in this topic and have trail cameras up right now to catch these wily creatures, who have our level of intelligence. The longer bigfoot remains hidden the greater the tendcncy to make it into a divine character. Humans do this to anything they don’t understand.
But the one thing I do not do is deify the creature. Just because humans suck at capturing this creature on camera does not mean it has special powers. Where I live is bigfoot central, many locals see the creature, sometimes in broad daylight, right here in southern oregon. Probably only a few percent of the sightings actually make it to official records like on BFRO.
My own sighting is not in that database because I did not report it. Three years ago I saw a bigfoot jogging north on Hwy 97 abeam Klammath Marsh , it was 5 am and I was returning from Idaho, I had camped out that night before, at 4 am I got up and drove into Chemult and got a coffee, then 15 minutes later, while traveling south on 97, I saw a thing running along the shoulder, it was twilight and about 3/4 a mile away, a car came from behind it and it darted at full speed into the woods across the highway in full view. It was fast. Way fast, faster than any human, and I used to be a jogger and know how fast I could run, this was 2x at least faster than I could run at top speed. Unfortunately I was not close enough to see details like the fur or face.
Like I said, most sightings go unreported, a friend in Applegate valley told me his friend, a local mushroom picker, got stared down by an 8′ tall Sasquatch a year prior, he was picking morels up China Gulch Road (near Ruch) and he had a bucket full of these edible mushrooms and this huge thing walked up, and just stared him down until he left. It was all grey he said. Never reported. Local hicks don’t care about spending any time making an official report.
The most detailed report I have ever read was the close daylight sighting by two college geology students near Rattlesnake Lake, Washington. They walked up on an adult male, and had the shit scared out of themselves when it stood up and towered over them:

Agreed. I see bears all the time. Just this year I saw at least 6 bears riding my motorcycle in the mountains. They are common, they are shy (because of hunting) and they are identifiable as bears because of their shape and how they run, they lope. Anyone who lives here knows what a bear looks like. A bigfoot stands upright and looks like a human from afar. It runs like a human. If you read through the thousands of bigfoot sightings reports, most people have extensive hunting experience and know the difference between animals. They often do not report for fear of ridicule.

This year I almost hit a bear with my motobike, I often coast down hill with the engine off, and a yearling black bear was running down a ridge and jumped into the road directly in front of me and I slammed on both brakes and skidded to a stop just before I broadsided it, and I was worried that if I did hit it, the thing would reflexively snap at my leg. Black bears run at the sight of humans because their are long hunting seasons, both spring and fall bear hunts. in both Calif and Orygun.
There is another reason bigfoot is hard to see, it is nocturnal. It does not want to be seen. Probably most mature bigfoot have been shot at, in the mountains everyone is armed and there are plenty of poachers and yahoos who would shoot at one, even though they look pretty much human. So, imagine if you were on the lamb, and the police would shoot you on sight, you too would conceal yourself under the cover of darkness. At night, a black hair covered bigfoot is near invisible in the trees or brush. You only see them crossing the highway.
When you are out in the woods, on a typical day, you might see one or more deer. There are millions of deer, so the probability is you will see one on any day is high.
But if you are out in the woods, how many bear will you see in 1 year? Maybe a couple. There are a hundred thousand bear, so the probability of seeing one compared to a deer is far less.
Now what about mountain lions. There are 5,000 mountain lions in Oregon. I have never seen a live one in Oregon, except on my trail cameras, I have caught two dozen over the years. Reason? The population of mountain lions is far less than deer or bear.
When it comes to bigfoot, maybe there are 200-400 in Oregon.
Bigfoot pop = 200, most people will never see any in their lifetime (I’ve seen 1 thus far)
Mountain Lion pop = 5,000, most people will never see one, but outdoorsman might see 1 or 2 in their lifetime. (I have seen a total of 3 in the woods so far)
Black Bear pop = 100,000, high probability most people will see 1 or more in their lifetime. (I saw 5 black bear in the wild this year)
Deer (all species in Oregon) = 1.5 million, You can see them weekly. I see them daily, they are all over town.
Bigfoot also lives at elevation. They are usually 5,000 feet or higher, most people live as close to sea level as possible. Just that alone keeps us from seeing them. Hunters do see them, because hunters leave human civilization, go high into the mountains to stalk deer, are being quite, and are looking, and every year one or two hunters in Oregon will see a bigfoot.

Giants were no strangers to Norse mythology. Jotunheim/Jötunheimr was supposed to be their realm which also included a “Beer hall” in Valhalla to quench their thirst in the after life. I believe diverse cryptids do indeed exist, and what I find most fascinating about all them is the difficulty or impossibility to catch one.
They seem to exist only partially in the material world, or are able to transcend or escape at will the material condition.
Or perhaps rather they may have a dual nature similar to the particle-wave duality science has demonstrated matter has.
So, they are able to exist in a non-localized state being “everywhere” and invisible or to coalesce into a “point” or some arbitrary “form” becoming localized and visible for us.
The non-localized version can be responsible for diverse strange phenomena like the luring silent, almost hypnotic call to intern oneself into the forest to meet who knows what strange fate.
The purpose of most interactions with humans seems to be unfriendly.
The great french scientist and investigator of the paranormal Jacques Vallèe identifies a link between cryptids, ghosts, UFOs and tells us these things are accompanied with strange psychical phenomena identical to poltergeists, possessions, the demonic, etc.

I recall that Tel Aviv Mike and the multiple-personality poster have not “ran up against each other” to my knowledge. The failure of Mike D and Nico X “to come to blows” might be like the dog that didn’t bark. The two represent extremes of a mindset, but I don’t recall any disputation between the two. Why? Interestingly, both “posters” have a first name and one letter as a second.
As I see it Mike D’s job might be to use logical fallacies to derail any discussion of intriguing themes while Nico X’s job might be to make the neighbourhood seem unattractive – suggesting an “extreme” environment – for newcomers to TTS. A bigfoot stands upright and looks like a human from afar. It runs like a human. If you read through the thousands of bigfoot sightings reports, most people have extensive hunting experience and know the difference between animals. They often do not report for fear of ridicule.
The “experts” poopoo these sightings as bears – what a bunch of idiots. A bear does not run on two legs.
This year I almost hit a bear with my motobike, I often coast down hill with the engine off, and a yearling black bear was running down a ridge and jumped into the road directly in front of me and I slammed on both brakes and skidded to a stop just before I broadsided it, and I was worried that if I did hit it, the thing would reflexively snap at my leg. Black bears run at the sight of humans because their are long hunting seasons, both spring and fall bear hunts. in both Calif and Orygun.
There is another reason bigfoot is hard to see, it is nocturnal. It does not want to be seen. Probably most mature bigfoot have been shot at, in the mountains everyone is armed and there are plenty of poachers and yahoos who would shoot at one, even though they look pretty much human. So, imagine if you were on the lamb, and the police would shoot you on sight, you too would conceal yourself under the cover of darkness. At night, a black hair covered bigfoot is near invisible in the trees or brush. You only see them crossing the highway.
When you are out in the woods, on a typical day, you might see one or more deer. There are millions of deer, so the probability is you will see one on any day is high.
But if you are out in the woods, how many bear will you see in 1 year? Maybe a couple. There are a hundred thousand bear, so the probability of seeing one compared to a deer is far less.
Now what about mountain lions. There are 5,000 mountain lions in Oregon. I have never seen a live one in Oregon, except on my trail cameras, I have caught two dozen over the years. Reason? The population of mountain lions is far less than deer or bear.
When it comes to bigfoot, maybe there are 200-400 in Oregon.
Bigfoot pop = 200, most people will never see any in their lifetime (I’ve seen 1 thus far)
Mountain Lion pop = 5,000, most people will never see one, but outdoorsman might see 1 or 2 in their lifetime. (I have seen a total of 3 in the woods so far)
Black Bear pop = 100,000, high probability most people will see 1 or more in their lifetime. (I saw 5 black bear in the wild this year)
Deer (all species in Oregon) = 1.5 million, You can see them weekly. I see them daily, they are all over town.
Bigfoot also lives at elevation. They are usually 5,000 feet or higher, most people live as close to sea level as possible. Just that alone keeps us from seeing them. Hunters do see them, because hunters leave human civilization, go high into the mountains to stalk deer, are being quite, and are looking, and every year one or two hunters in Oregon will see a bigfoot.
Giants were no strangers to Norse mythology. Jotunheim/Jötunheimr was supposed to be their realm which also included a “Beer hall” in Valhalla to quench their thirst in the after life. Maybe not a bad place to have “a couple of quick ones” during ones own transmission in(to) the afterlife – unless one gets distracted elsewhere.

I believe diverse cryptids do indeed exist, and what I find most fascinating about all them is the difficulty or impossibility to catch one.
They seem to exist only partially in the material world, or are able to transcend or escape at will the material condition.
Or perhaps rather they may have a dual nature similar to the particle-wave duality science has demonstrated matter has.
So, they are able to exist in a non-localized state being “everywhere” and invisible or to coalesce into a “point” or some arbitrary “form” becoming localized and visible for us.
The non-localized version can be responsible for diverse strange phenomena like the luring silent, almost hypnotic call to intern oneself into the forest to meet who knows what strange fate.
The purpose of most interactions with humans seems to be unfriendly.
The great french scientist and investigator of the paranormal Jacques Vallèe identifies a link between cryptids, ghosts, UFOs and tells us these things are accompanied with strange psychical phenomena identical to poltergeists, possessions, the demonic, etc.

Then there’s batteries under the pyramids, comets that are “spaceships”, “sunken ruins” that are “atlantis”, “weather control systems” in the arctic, interdimensional aliens controlling everything and all the rest.
A long, long, long time ago, there was this thing called “science” and it had a friend called “the scientific method”. It’s been replaced by “smithscience” and “the scientific retard”.

J.V. is not a cheap sensationalist author Däniken style, but a highly qualified scientist who once worked for NASA, and who managed to dig up several unsettling facts about these phenomena.

SOME SPECULATION ON THOSE WHO ATTACK THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH IN THE COMMENTS SECTIONS:
On the subject of “Tel Aviv Mike” whom I’ve alluded to in my last post, I have wondered whether another poster of annoyance – who is either an “intelligence asset” or simply an “ass” who I call the “Multi-personality Poster” – are different arms of the same “project” aimed at sewing the seeds of discord in these comments sections.
I recall that Tel Aviv Mike and the multiple-personality poster have not “ran up against each other” to my knowledge. The failure of Mike D and Nico X “to come to blows” might be like the dog that didn’t bark. The two represent extremes of a mindset, but I don’t recall any disputation between the two. Why? Interestingly, both “posters” have a first name and one letter as a second.
As I see it Mike D’s job might be to use logical fallacies to derail any discussion of intriguing themes while Nico X’s job might be to make the neighbourhood seem unattractive – suggesting an “extreme” environment – for newcomers to TTS. I could be wrong; I could be overthinking. But it has been on mind for a while now. I may be articulating what others have wondered as well…
