In 1978, John Todd spoke about plans laid out in a 1957 book by Ayn Rand, a mistress of Phillip Rothschild, about the Illuminati raising oil prices and then later destroying the oil fields and completely shutting down the coal industry.

The Plan to Control Oil Prices and Eliminate “Fossil Fuels”
John Todd, also known by various aliases including John Todd Collins, Lance Collins and Christopher Kollyns, said he was a high-ranking member of a secret satanic conspiracy involving the Illuminati and witchcraft. He asserted he was born into a family of witches and was groomed from childhood to become a Grand Druid high priest within the Illuminati, a secret group he claimed was plotting a global takeover.
He served as a high priest in the “Council of Thirteen,” a group he said was subordinate to the Rothschild family, whom he alleged were demonic entities. Todd said his family lineage, the Collins bloodline, had been involved in witchcraft for generations.
In February 1979, Christianity Today said: “Todd, 29, [ ] has announced that he is through. He told friends in the Los Angeles area last month that he had been shot at frequently and that his house was firebombed. Therefore, he said, he will take no more speaking engagements; he, his wife, and three children will head for a secret retreat location.”
Many believe Todd was genuine, while others do not. But what can’t be denied is how closely Todd’s revelations about the plan to dominate the world seem to describe world events. It may be decades later than Todd predicted, but it cannot be a coincidence.
For example, in 1978, Todd gave a speech at the Elkton Maryland Baptist Church when he said that the Illuminati manipulated global events by controlling oil prices, destroying industries and using popular culture, such as rock music, to spread satanic influence.

Fossil fuels supply a very small part of ATLAS SHRUGGED — a guy named Wyatt owns an oil company and blows up his oil fields when the government leans on him. I doubt it’s more than a fraction of that whole book.

You notice that ‘Green’ plans/edicts via windmills, massive Solar farms actually deform the environment. Large amounts of farm or forest land are destroyed by them, much wildlife is wiped out- ground nesting & migrating birds, bats, mammals and bees and other insects etc. Nobody gives a cost evaluation of this e.g. how much electricity is generated in Kw, cold or stormy weather halting them, the cost of putting them up, the massive destruction and the fact that they are viable for merely 12 years or so? Still further, development of solid hydrogen block or cells could produces zero pollutive energies from endlessly renewable water resources, but you can’t monopolise that. Above all, citizens must never be allowed any real choice. Instead, they must face endless shortages, rationing, restriction and huge price hikes from monopoly corporations on food, energy, land, water and medications.
Tandem to this, the 3rd World is encouraged to breed exponentially thus raising human footprint and demands everywhere, with them being sent to the West to escape their own chaos & misery and bring it all home. If these climate promoters said we can’t have more wars, thus more mass migration, we can’t have humans breeding insanely and we can’t have monopoly corporations controlling all aspects of life then they’d have credibility. Back in 1979. the major Western Rothschild ZOG and oil-owning nations of the US, the UK, France and Holland were not in control of most of the oil and gas reserves on the planet. The Shah of Iran was in the process of being given the boot by Iranian interests to nationalize their great reserves – which audacity since then those same Western powers have never forgiven Iran and the Iranian people.
The entire narrative of doing away with Western dependance on oil and coal for new modes of energy production, was a feint and pretext to dupe the oil-rich nations that their vast reserves likely would not be in demand in the future, and the lies also enabled the puppet leaders of the Western powers to dupe their own people into believe that the wars being planned against those oil-rich foreign nations, which they were already busy trying to destabilize and take over, were to further peace and democracy, and to stop terrorism in those nations which cells were being recruited by our illustrious governments.
Back then about 50% of our energy requirements in the West was from oil, and the rest mainly from coal, natural gas, hydro, and uranium.
In the US, “the primary energy requirements are now met by petroleum (38%) and natural gas (36%). Fossil fuels as a whole account for about 82% of total energy consumption.”
In the UK, “primary energy consumption in 2023 was dominated by oil (38.7%) and natural gas (33%), with oil and gas together accounting for over 70% of total consumption. ”
In Spain, “fossil fuels supply about 66% of primary energy at present.”
“In 2023–24, oil accounted for 41% of Australia’s total primary energy mix.”
In Canada, “the primary energy sources are natural gas (38%) and refined petroleum products (37%), followed by electricity (18%), and biofuels (6%).
France has gone mainly nuclear since then.
Also, what was happening in the 1970’s was the Rothschild & Rockefeller bankster-backed opening up of trade with communist China (another mainly Rothschild prodigy nation). The projections for an economy based on global development with other LC (low-cost-labour) nations was that the control of the vast oil & gas reserves of foreign nations not yet under their control, was the real “gold” of the future, which explains most of the wars in the world since, and not just just in the Levant but also over the entire African continent and in parts of Asia. “Coincidentally” the Rothschild-owned horses always come in first.
By 2025 for the globe, “Oil’s share of total energy demand fell below 30% for the first time in 2024, 50 years after peaking at 46%.” However, 50 years ago at the peak percentage of oil use was the year 1975, and as we know that the Rothschild dynasty plans 50 to 100 years in advance, and with the opening of trade with the PRC and other LC nations in the 1970’s they clearly knew that despite these relativistic percentages, and with the surge of foreign development, that the global demand for oil would dramatically increase in real terms, and that actual ownership and control of the reserves was crucial to sustain the interest payments on all of their Western debt-rigged nations. Their powers and influence were most certainly used since 1979 to capture as many foreign oil reserves as possible. Hence, although the world back in 1975 was 46% reliant on oil, it was easily and clearly projected that with industrial development of “third-world nations” using our unprotected markets to flog their LC goods, that the use and reliance of oil for the next 100 years would dramatically increase. They also could clearly foresee exactly what unprotected trade, particularly with their prodigy communist nation, the PRC, would do to the West within 20 years of 1979. It was clearly foreseeable to them that such open trade would most certainly transform each of our Western nations from creditor nation status into debtor nations – and largely to them and their designates.
