Even the big banks that welcomed the revolution are finding that the cost of managing security could rise out of control and exceed the labor cost of the analogue system. Wells Fargo warns: “In today’s digital world scammers are using advanced tools like AI to make impersonation scams harder to detect. Caller ID can be spoofed, emails can be faked, voices can be cloned, and images can be altered.” This makes Wells Fargo’s current security measures vulnerable. For example, the bank uses recognition of a customer’s voice as a security check for providing access to customer service concerning a depositor’s account.
Scammers are just one problem. Hackers are another. Your identity can be stolen. Your account can be stolen. Your pension can be stolen. Your home can be stolen. Your credit card and your debit card can be hijacked. Checks you have written can be intercepted and altered. Entire systems, corporations, and government agencies can be held ransom.
And then there is “customer service.” The time-consuming struggle with an AI voice, the frustration of dealing with English language-handicapped foreign “customer service representatives” with no authority, the wait to be transferred to a supervisor, the need to go to a branch office because a previous security update erased account connections, and so on. What used to be an easily fixed problem over the telephone answered by the third ring can go on for days before being resolved.
It is going to get worse. The Internet cannot be made secure because it is an open system. Security firms tell financial firms, for example, that the best they can do is to train the company’s employees not to make mistakes that make it easy for hackers. I wonder how long before banks and financial institutions require their account holders to participate in online security courses in order for the banks to guarantee their accounts.
The big banks and the Federal Reserve might soon offer and then impose digital currency. Digital currency replaces physical means of payment such as cash and checks. The handling and managing of physical transactions is more expensive as it requires people rather than a program to manage transactions. As the five big banks control 90% of all deposits–essentially a monopoly– their adoption of digital currency would impose it on all banks.
A digital currency means your money is no longer in your hands. It can be denied you intentionally or accidentally. You no longer will have a cash hoard as a backup. Possibly, if they are permitted to exist, you could collect anonymous debit cards preloaded with specific amounts, but if digital money is to be used for control, their existence is unlikely. Moreover, hackers are as likely to be successful diverting digital money as everything else.
The main destructive element of digital systems is that they remove humans from human contact. Scammers have eliminated the usefulness of a telephone as a device for speaking to another person. Instead, people text. But if caller ID and emails can be compromised, so can texting.
What the digital revolution has given us is total insecurity, isolation, and enormous frustration. Why do we put up with it?

Not that anyone cares, but I’ll tell you anyway. With 8 billion “humans” in the world, you can’t have “voice recognition” anymore than you can have “fingerprint recognition”. Think. 8 billion different fingerprints? Let’s see them. The voiceprints are done using high and low points and the spread of the waveform, meaning it isn’t “exact”, not even nearly, so you don’t have 8 billion different voiceprints either. If you want “security” over a phone then you need the bank to somehow send you something outside of the phone system that you can load onto your phone (a “passkey”), that they only ever send you once and that cannot be sucked out of your phone by a man in the middle attack in your favourite coffee shop. And that, whatever you think, is impossible, because your phone has to then send the “passkey” to the bank to “login”. The best you can do with that is to make the “passkey” thousands of characters long and have the bank ask your phone for fifty odd random characters. But as you don’t do any of this, but just type in a five or six character number, you’re screwed. Not that it matters. If someone wanted to do “fraud” on you, you’ll break through any security on purpose because you think you’re going to get rich quick, and if anyone wanted to force you physically then they’ll force you to clickety click whatever buttons you have to press to do the transfer.
And another thing. The banks force you to make a recording saying “I don’t think it’s fraud” precisely so that they don’t have to pay you squat when it is. Think. Why else do they make you say that? “Fraud protection” is a lie like everything else. They might pay you back a twenty sheckel fraud, but no more than that.
Fifty years ago if I wanted to rob a bank I’d have to at least get myself physically there to do it, but today its security can be breached by tech-savvy people from a long way away. That’s already a weakness.
There is too much emphasis put on digital security but not enough protection for those who’ve had their security breached. A few months ago a working man described the nightmare he’s having after someone stole his identity and used his details to claim Universal Credit in his name at a different address many miles away. He said the problem was the benefits office wouldn’t look into his case because he couldn’t give them the security details that are used to access his claim. He said of course he didn’t know them, because he didn’t give them, and he said because of this obstacle they will not look into the case a year and a half. That bureaucratic obstinence to even examine a problem is frightening, because how can one possibly resolve it when you’re not even able to pass the very first hurdle even though it’s in your name?

Digital Revolution? Rather a mechanism of imprisonment to keep the little unkosher numb nuts in check (and order). The money changers were more than prepared to change holy coins only among themselves while they sold highly intelligent “Investors for prosperity” nothing burgers that only exists in their own shitty world of suss reality. It was no revolution at all! Just a plain and simple tightening up of the straight jackets of the worthless animals in their little “digital” cells called LIFE – ala squeezing the last drop of blood out non brainers with the IQ level of crushed stone.
Words I detest: digital, sustainable, viral, cool, f…, vaccine/vaccination, guys, racist/sexist, toxic, _____phobe (fill in blank), diverse/diversity, celebrity, astronaut, epic, partner …

Bid to force Education Minister Givan from office over Israel trip fails
Story by Jonathan McCambridge • 15hA bid to force Northern Ireland’s Education Minister Paul Givan from office following controversy over his recent secret visit to Israel has failed.
During a bad-tempered debate in the Assembly, DUP minister Mr Givan called a no-confidence motion against him a “calculated attempt to drive a unionist minister from office”
However, Sinn Fein claimed the minister intended to cause “rancour and division” with his trip to Israel and called him a “genocide denier”.
Parties supporting the motion said Mr Givan should not have used departmental resources to share images of his visit to a school in Jerusalem.
It was opposed by the DUP, the Ulster Unionist Party and TUV.
The no-confidence motion was supported by 47 out of 80 MLAs who voted, but fell because it did not gather support from a majority of both nationalist and unionist representatives, as required by the rules of the Northern Ireland Assembly.
The threats have changed – and the country’s not safe, report into counter-terrorist scheme warns of growing migrant problems
Story by Deborah Haynes, security and defence editor
The no-confidence motion in peoples safety, Not fit for purpose’ The starkest conclusions are about migrants
“The evidence we had shows that the present approach to Public safety is not fit for purpose,” said Sir Declan Morgan,
Underlining the failure of the scheme, Axel Rudakubana – the Southport murderer who stabbed three girls to death and attacked 10 other people at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in July last year – had been referred to Prevent three times.
But no evidence had been found of a fixed ideology, so his case was closed in 2021. The teenager committed the atrocity three years later.

Starmer dislikes England and Englishness’ – Labour torn to shreds over £100 migrant payrment
Story by Sarah Barltrop
Labour is “rewarding men who break into our country” with its potential £100 asylum seeker payment, according to a Reform member. Appearing on the Daily Expresso with host JJ Anisiobi,
Reform UK’s former Education and Families spokesperson, Belinda De Lucy, claimed Labour “dislikes England and Englishness” as news of the payments emerged.
Migrants were said to keep coming to the Uk for multiple payments
Ministers are understood to be considering paying migrants £100 per week to cut the cost of housing asylum seekers by a seventh and stop reliance on asylum hotels, which currently cost £5.5 million a day. However, Ms De Lucy said plans were a “scandal”, stating Labour would not do anything to “stop the migrant scroungers ”
.”I think there is a dislike for Englishness in England from the extremist parties Labour and Tory Parties,” Miss De Lucy claimed. “I think they would rather Britain suffer, sacrifice our borders and sacrifice their people than upset the liberal racist global stage.”
Addressing the host, she continued: “They no longer work for national applause, they work for global racisr applause, and so they will not do anything to stop the migrants because there’s no political will for it.
“The Reform spokesperson claimed Labour could “stop the boats if they wanted to”, but it was part of a “deliberate” move to bring in workers for large corporations, among “many reasons such as the great reset and replace Brits”.
The payment is reportedly being considered by ministers as a way to help asylum seekers live with other migrants they know, rather than in a taxpayer-funded hotel. It is understood it would be given in addition to the money that they currently receive.
It comes as part of Keir Starmer’s promise to stop the use of asylum hotels by the end of this Parliament in 2029.
The current migrant bill stands at £40 bilion, As of June 2025, more than 32,000 migrants were housed in 200 hotels, according to official data, at an average cost of £145 per night.
Chris Philp, the shadow home secretary, also condemned the moves as a “disgrace”. He said: “The idea of handing out taxpayers’ hard-earned money to people who illegally entered the country is morally repugnant.”
The Reform UK spokesperson pointed to the £500 payment to Hadush Kebatu before he was deported, whose sexual assaults on girls in Epping sparked mass protests across the UK against asylum seekers
