The Washington Post has published an article titled “Families shot down, held at ransom as they flee Darfur’s killing fields,” subtitled “Sudan’s RSF paramilitary and its allies have carried out mass ethnic killings and hostage taking in the captured city of El Fashir, survivors told The Post.”
The article opens with a paragraph humanizing the victims of the El Fashir massacres: “Families gunned down as they huddled for safety. Young children weeping over their mother’s body in the desert. Doctors seized for ransom and executed.”
It names the perpetrators, “the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces,” in the second paragraph.
It names the backers of the perpetrators in the third paragraph, saying that “The RSF is backed by the United Arab Emirates.”
It mentions the word “genocide” three separate times. “Ethnic killings” appears twice. The UAE is named repeatedly; even the fact that it is “a key U.S. ally” is explicitly highlighted.
Do you notice anything strange about this reporting?
Me neither. What stands out, reading this article here in the year 2025, is how completely and utterly normal it is.
This is how the media normally covers a mass atrocity as terrible as this. This is how they would have been covering Gaza this whole time if the entire western establishment wasn’t aggressively protecting Israel. pic.twitter.com/tiAQobvIyj

It’s not fantastic or extraordinary journalism, it’s just normal for a mainstream western publication. The reporters talk to the victims, describe the massacres they were told about, explain the various power dynamics at play from a mainstream western perspective, name some US officials who are pushing for a halt to the RSF’s atrocities, and use appropriately strong language to describe the horrors they are documenting — including in the headline.
They do all the normal mainstream news reporter things. They cover a depraved mass atrocity the same way they’ve typically covered such things for generations.
None of this would stand out on its own, if we hadn’t spent two years watching the mainstream western press do absolutely none of these normal journalistic things in Gaza.
The passive-language “Gazans perish in explosion” headlines. The contortions to avoid naming the perpetrator and the governments that are backing its atrocities. The adamant refusal to use the word “genocide” except to frame it as a dubious claim being made by another party which Israel forcefully denies. The wildly biased discrepancy between the strength of language used to describe violence inflicted by Israelis versus violence inflicted by Palestinians.
If the western press had not been aggressively protecting Israel and its interests this whole time, all their reporting on Gaza over the last two years would have looked very much like the reporting we’re seeing on the genocide in Sudan. There’s a discrepancy in the reporting because there’s a discrepancy in the propaganda needs of the western empire.
It is good that the western press are doing actual journalism in Sudan and covering that genocide with the normal level of urgency and emphasis. If they had been reporting on Gaza in the same way these last two years, the west’s support for Israel would have completely collapsed by now.
Which is exactly why they haven’t been doing it.

Harris says left wing racists attempting to ‘shut down debate’ on migration
Story by Cillian Sherlock, PA • 2h •here is “a limit” to what Ireland can do for immigrants, the Tanaiste said, as he claimed some people wanted to “shut down debate” on the matter.
Simon Harris said that recent data from the Economic and Social Research Institute shows that the population is growing “way faster than baseline projections”.
The Fine Gael leader said this has an impact on public services and housing.
Speaking to reporters before a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday, he said: “The conversation about migration isn’t just about international protection, it’s about what itish people have to give ip for them
He added: “Roughly speaking, for every 10,000 people come into our country, around 3,000 more homes are needed.
“So let’s actually have a rational, calm informed debate that doesn’t seek to label people, shout them down and box them into certain positions.
WE have already taken in too many
Oh come on now Caitlin! How dare you compare Sudan to poor Izzy!
Besides, if there was anything untoward going on in Gaza the Bwitish Pwess and the BBC would’ve been ALL OVER IT… like a convention of Hasidics over a pork-pie buffet!
…. and that should tell us who is running the media all over the world. So, when are we going to expose the puppetmasters? It is not just israel. It is the people linked to that criminal state around the world that are supporting it, lying to us, and destroying the world as we know it.
here’s another reason 500,000 people stopped paying the BBC licence fee last year
Story by Carole Malone
•They spliced together different bits of a speech Trump made on January 6, 2021 – some of them of them 45 mins apart – to have him saying he was going to walk to Capitol with protesters and “fight like Hell”, when in fact what he’d said was that he’d walk with them, “to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard”.
Hell, this is what the Zio Big Brother is all about! – the State tries to brainwash its people to make a lie look like the truth. And that’s exactly what these excuses for journalists on Panorama did. And they shouldn’t just be fired for this, they should be kicked out of the profession and then sued. Because this was gutter journalism at its worst!
And I’m very much hoping that The Donald will be the one to sue them. Because the offending clip was broadcast just a week before the US presidential elections – one presumes with the intention of damaging Trump and beggaring his chances of being re-elected president. They made it look like he’d broken the law by inciting violence. And of course he hadn’t. It’s why no federal charges for inciting violence against him stood up.
So, here’s hoping the President takes the Zio- BBC – and specifically the journos and the editors who did this – to the cleaners. He got £13.5million out of CBS last year when he sued them for “deceptively editing” an interview with Kamala Harris “to tip the scales in favour of the democrats”.
These journos need a legal slapping because they’re exactly the kind of people who laugh and sneer at Trump when he talks about fake news. They’re also the kind of people who have decided he’s an evil force not realising that it’s THEM who are the evil force because they’re the ones doctoring the truth.
This Panorama special called, Trump: A Second Chance, also featured flag-waving men marching on the Capitol in Washington after the president spoke, creating the impression his supporters had taken up his “call to arms”. In fact, the footage had been shot before Trump even started speaking that day
But these idiot journos are so blinded by their hatred of the President that they feel entitled to do whatever it takes to bring him down. This was gutter journalism, pure and simple, by people working for the State broadcaster. Their wages are paid by us, and their programmes are funded by us on the basis that their reporting is squeakily impartial and unbiased. What a joke eh?
The BBC is a lying racist LBGT bag of shit who protects pedos jews and criminals
But what this latest episode shows – and it isn’t the first – is that the BBC is infested to its rotten core with bias. It’s poisoned by it to the point where it can no longer be trusted to accurately report the news. A fact which will be confirmed by further revelations in this dossier which talks of its bias over its reporting.
It also claimed the BBC’s chairman and other senior execs had ignored or dismissed a string of serious complaints raised by its own standards watchdog.
So now we know all this is the Government going to have the balls to take away the BBC’s charter which is due for renewal in 2027? It should because it damn well shames us all. Or are we just going to hear more platitudes from executives about how it’s going to work to make itself better.
Because it’s been promising that for years and it’s not getting better – it’s getting worse. We cannot have a state broadcaster that fakes news and doctors the truth to suit its own political agenda. Because what else is it lying about?
We can’t keep allowing the people at the top – DG Tim Davie and chairman, Dr Samir Shah – to trot out meaningless apologies promising it won’t ever happen again because we know it will, it still employs filthy racist trollops like vanessa feltz
It’s why the public’s trust has gone. It’s why last year nearly 500,000 people stopped paying their TV licence because they can’t stomach the BBC’s bias and more than two million have stopped since 2020. Because people know the bias is institutional and every time a top executive says they’ll deal with it we know they won’t. Because it’s ingrained into the very fabric of the Corporation. Which is why we should no longer be forced to pay a tax to watch its nonsense.
There have been too many scandals, too many lies, too many cover ups and not enough responsibility or accountability.
Let the BBC do and say exactly what the hell it likes but not with money from the British people. Defund it and let this bloated, bigoted, biased, organisation fend for itself in the TV world. See how it fares then.
All grooming gang investigations dropped due to ‘human error’
Story by Margaret Davis •
The early stages of a massive review of cases involving alleged sexual abuse gangs has found potential human error led to police investigations being dropped.
Thousands of cases are set to be reviewed as part of Operation Beaconport, a national project to unearth failures to tackle grooming gangs.
( migrant rape gangs _So far 1,273 files from 23 police forces have been referred to the National Crime Agency-led review, of which 236 are being examined as a priority because they involve allegations of serial rape.
NCA deputy director Nigel Leary said initial reviews suggest there were mistakes in some of the investigations.
He told journalists: “Initial reviews have identified that in some cases where there has been a decision to take no further action (NFA), there were available lines of inquiry that should have been pursued. So far 1,273 files from 23 police forces have been referred to the National Crime Agency-led review, of which 236 are being examined as a priority because they involve allegations of serial child rape.
NCA deputy director Nigel Leary told journalists: “We’ve seen in those cases what appears to be potentially human error.
“We’ve seen in some cases that those investigations haven’t followed what we would characterise as proper investigative practice, actually that would have contributed to the NFA decision.
Migrant rape gangs were given priority to break UK law, and carte blanche the mass rape of 1400 white Christian girls
a few of which have never been found
“That includes, for example, lines of inquiry being identified but not being followed, victim accounts not being taken notice of in a way that we would recognise as best practice, and suspects not being pursued or interviewed in any way, which wasa licence to carry on with more rapes
Operation Beaconport is reviewing cases between January 1 2010 and March 31 2025, with thousands expected to come under scrutiny.
The cost of the scheme is not yet known.
Operation Stovewood, the investigation into grooming ( migrant rape )gangs and other non-familial sexual abuse in the Rotherham area between 1997 and 2013, has cost £89 million over 11 years.
Mr Leary said: “This is going to be a phenomenally large undertaking.
“It will be the most comprehensive investigation of its type in UK history.
“We estimate that over the life cycle of the operation, it will involve thousands of officers from across policing.”
the missing girls lives could have ben saved if politicians had not swept it under the carpet”
Investigators have pledged to be “honest and transparent” with victims from the start, to avoid giving them unrealistic expectations.
Mr Leary said: “Not all matters we review, even where they’re reinvestigated, even where victim or survivor says ‘I want that to be reinvestigated’, will produce a criminal justice outcome.
