I also think the reason why many women are put into positions of power is because the men behind the curtain consider them easier to control. Some women like Thatcher are strong willed but she came just before the supply-side neoliberal economic system of Paul Craig Roberts and his partner enabled the enrichment of thousands of billionaires, so Thatcher only had establishment oligarchs like press barons, industrialists and City bigwigs to stand up to, but her economic demands were much the same as theirs.
