Wow! This was Pepe Escobar as the best of himself!
First for me was his masterly characterisation of Trump. It was, at first, a ‘heard before, ad nauseam’ one. Then his contextualisations nailed it like I have never before heard it nailed.
Spot on, and very gratifying, was his effective dismissal of the EU elite as just plain stupid: Essentially, they count for nothing; no scope, therefore, for closer scrutiny.
And China is pollution free, thanks to brilliant central management. This was jaw-dropping news for me.

Broadcaster Adam Brooks slammed the Labour Government for not doing more to stop migrants, who he claimed “can’t be trusted around women or girls”. It comes after demonstrators have clashed with police again close to a hotel housing asylum seekers in Dublin following an several sexual assaults. Two police officers have been taken to the hospital with injuries.
