I have labeled Putin’s conduct of war in Ukraine a strategic blunder that has ever-widened the war and is on the verge of spiraling out of control if Trump delivers nuclear-capable Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine. The way Putin has conducted the war, now approaching four years in duration, has maximized Russian casualties. Putin stupidly never permitted the Russian military to cut the train lines between Poland, Lvov, and Kiev, thus permitting unrestricted inflow into Ukraine of US and NATO weapons and men to the war front as well as the Ukrainian attack and occupation of Russia’s Kursk region.
In other words, Putin did nothing to degrade Ukraine’s ability to fight a war. He even left the neo-Nazi government in Kiev unmolested.

Gilbert Doctorow recently reported that there is now talk in Russia about moving Putin aside in favor of a more aggressive leader who will get the war over with. I welcome the realism that Helmer and Doctorow are adding to my longtime efforts. We have progressed on a path to nuclear war because Putin never demonstrated Russian resolution by quickly terminating Ukraine’s ability to continue the war. The US took advantage of Putin’s irresolution to increase the number and severity of provocations. Putin’s response has been to deny that they are provocations. He declared the attack on Russia’s strategic bomber fleet “an act of terrorism,” not an act of war. As for Washington sending Tomahawk missiles, Putin and his foreign minister say the Tomahawks change nothing on the battlefield, an extraordinary claim as the range of the Tomahawks widens and deepens the battlefield by 1,000 miles.
These weak responses from Putin and Lavrov are not responses likely to deter more provocations. Trump now speaks of Putin as a paper tiger and of Russia as a country that Zelensky can defeat.
In the West the understanding of the dangerous situation is limited and colored by those who are willing to give Putin the benefit of the doubt on the grounds that the war was forced on him by Washington and those who believe their own demonization of Russia, aiming for Russia’s destruction. Non-partisan objective analysis of the situation has been rare. Since neither Washington nor Moscow have an understanding of the mistakes they are making, the chances are rising that war will resolve the issue.

We’re all still alive PCR. How come that doesn’t count? I get frustrated with Putin too but we don’t have access to Russian intelligence nor what Russia’s true goals are. I believe they want to use up the weapons stockpiles of the countries in NATO as they hand them over to Ukraine, some unwillingly but pressed to do so by the US and now more so with the idiot Trump. It also means there are less weapons with which to damage Iran, so Iran owes Russia a biggie in future negotiations.
NATO is nasty and Russia may want to go at it a few more years.

Implicit in your faulty assessment is your incorrect view that the war in ukraine is strictly about ukraine, which is obviously not the case. For the Nth time: Unlike you, Putin understands that a war against U.S./NATO is inevitable regardless of what happens in ukraine – for which he is prudently preparing. While the Satanic jew-controlled west escalates its provocations (as it precipitously declines – militarily, economically, morally and politically), Russia refurbishes and restocks bomb shelters; develops, deploys and increases production of game-changing weapon systems; firms up strategic partnerships with allies; etc. in preparation for war with the evil empire.

Allow me to interpret the Russian position for you: Tomahawk missiles will obviously not change the outcome of the war, nor will they have much of an effect on the battlefield per se. This is because Russia will destroy many of them as they sit in storage in ukraine, and many if not most of the missiles that manage to be launched will by shot down by Russian air defense systems. The danger is that a few missiles will not be intercepted and will hit targets in Russia and Russia will have no choice but to respond – most likely in a way that could lead to rapid escalation.

In 1916 their main objective was not the defeat of Germany but the Rothschild-controlled and communist take over of Russia, and the expansion of their globalist controls.

The war in the Ukraine is just one more staged event to carve up the place along with all of its resources, just as Syria is being carved up at the expense of the Syrians who had the temerity to fight for their own nation, only to see the Russians abandon them as soon as the Russian military had secured large hunks of the Ukraine. Russia was virtually invited into the Ukraine by the fake Russian-bashing and Rothschild-controlled Western ZOG powers.
Never forgiving and never forgetting anything except their own evils, there is no love of the Jewish money power for the Ukrainian people. The overwhelming majority of Ukrainians fought against the USSR and Stalin in WWII for a very just cause in trying to escape the communist oppression and atrocities, while their Jewish minority, for the most part, fought to preserve communism and were firmly on the side of Stalin. The Zelensky regime is not a “Nazi” regime as PCR says. Zelensky’s father fought on the side of Stalin. What is needed is a different kind of revolutionary train than the one of Lenin, and one to wind and worm its way into the minds of that same money power to explode the light of the true God into their twisted hearts – one where each one of them ruling or obeying in their craft will see their own doom for an eternity in their own self-chosen darkness and gnashing of teeth. Of course, it would be a mercy if it were quickly terminated. But what if Putin has another strategy? Plausibly, his is one that looks like this:
If this war grinds on, Ukraine will run out of combat-capable men. That it already has is evident. Also, the West is running short of the means and the weapons to supply to Ukraine. Trump has said that he is out, and the EU will now have to buy US weapons to give to Ukraine. But the EU lacks the means. Besides, the US stock of weapons is not great, and diminishing more quickly than it is coming off production lines.
In short, Russia has a huge, and growing, army. Putin can afford to waste his soldiers. But Ukraine has already wasted its soldiers – 1.6 million, according even to Western estimates. And the Russian weapons-production is working at top speed.
Letting this war grind on as it is doing, Putin can expect that Ukraine will not become war capable again in the foreseeable future. This is certainly a cruel strategy. But it is a sure-fire one, unless the Duma and the Russian population rise against it. (Signs that such a rise is already in evidence is being identified)
Putin is doing a balancing act, trying to avoid both all-out war with NATO and a humanitarian disaster. Unfortunately, it is now obvious that the Kremlin initially failed to grasp the fact that the West is bent on war and sees anything other than decisive action as weakness. Delay, irresolution and Western duplicity meant that a crucial opportunity was missed. All transport links from the West into Ukraine should have been cut on Day One, thus making conventional Western escalation impossible.
