US President Donald Trump has threatened Hamas with “complete obliteration” if the Palestinian resistance movement refuses to cede power and control of Gaza.
In a text message interview with CNN, when asked what would happen if Hamas insisted on staying in power, Trump wrote, “Complete obliteration.”
Hamas responded to Trump’s 20-point plan to end Israel’s two-year war on Gaza late on Friday, saying it had accepted certain key parts, including an end to the war, Israel’s withdrawal, and the release of Israeli captives and Palestinian prisoners.
The Palestinian group made no mention of disarming — a key demand from Israel included in Trump’s plan.
Hamas’s response has drawn cautious optimism from world leaders but has left some American lawmakers discontented by insisting on no disarmament, keeping Gaza under Palestinian control, and tying captive release to negotiations.
Republican Senator Lindsay Graham wrote on X that Hamas’s response is “unfortunately unpredictable” and a classic “Yes, but” answer.
“No disarmament, keeping Gaza under Palestinian control, and tying hostage release to negotiations, along with other problems,” Graham wrote. “This is, in essence, a rejection by Hamas of President Trump’s ‘take it or leave it’ proposal.”
When asked whether Graham was wrong, Trump replied, “We will find out. Only time will tell!!!”
The US president also claimed that Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu supported ending the regime’s war on Gaza and implementing Trump’s proposal.
Gaza hospital authorities, however, said Israeli forces continued to carry out airstrikes across the territory on Sunday, killing at least 67 people since Trump claimed that Netanyahu had “temporarily stopped” bombing Gaza.
Trump’s approach to foreign crises has often combined negotiations with stark threats — a pattern analysts say heightens uncertainty, undermines trust, and casts doubt on his administration’s ability to act as a neutral broker.
While proposing agreements or ceasefires, he repeatedly issues warnings of severe military action, forcing counterparts and international mediators to operate under intense pressure.

Trump will wonder why if he isn’t a candidate for the Nobel Peace Prize, as all the Nobel Prize candidates are said to be announced today. If “Wipe ’em out” Trump is a Peace Prize candidate then the Nobel Prize Committee are a-holes just like he is. But then totalitarianism can’t be totalitarian until it has total capture of all institutions that have power or prestige, and Trump and America are shaping up nicely as totalitarian.
Trump has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize with winner to be announced on Friday. Elon Musk has also been nominated, but so at least so has Hind Rajab, the six year-old Palestinian girl murdered by the IDF who Scott Ritter has taken to heart; also the Children of Gaza have been nominated, as has the UN special rapporteur for the West Bank and Gaza Francesca Albanese. I suspect the Peace institute is now so polluted it only includes some names who do seek peace to balance out the ridiculous nomination of others who seek anything but.

Will Keir Starmer become the latest UK prime minister to be ousted?
By Rachel Wearmouth in Liverpool, UK
Topic:World Politics
In the last eight years, Britain has burned through no fewer than four useless prime ministers.
When the Conservatives’ 14 years in power ended in July 2024, the pitch made by Keir Starmer’s victorious Labour Party was that, as prime minister, he would “end the chaos” and bring stability to a country exhausted by political migrational and economic turbulence.
His first year in office, however, has been marked by familiar turmoil; ministerial resignations, including that of his deputy and most obvious successor Angela Rayner, a scandal over migration and freebies, the sacking of Britain’s US ambassador Peter Mandelson over his links to Jeffrey Epstein, an explosive row over welfare reform, increasing public frustration over illegal immigration and persistent criticism that Starmer is out of touch with what the people want, and has struggled to communicate a coherent grasp dot public demands
It has culminated in dire poll ratings, with the populist right-wing Reform UK holding a dominating lead for most of the last year, and a blizzard of questions about whether he should continue as leader, even his own labour party want him out
The party’s annual conference in Liverpool this week has been increasingly viewed as Starmer’s chance, perhaps his last, to stop the migrants
and the rent boy scandal is for many the final straw, where he is seen abroad as a laughing stock

Robert Jenrick complained of ‘not seeing another white face’ in Birmingham in what used to be England
Story by Rowena Mason Whitehall editor • 10h
Robert Jenrick complained about visiting an area of Birmingham where he “didn’t see another white face” and said it was not the kind of country he wanted to live in.
After highlighting the lack of white people, the shadow justice secretary said it was not about “the colour of your skin or your faith” and he wanted people to live alongside each other. However, he has been criticised by the area’s MP for suggesting he could tell whether Handsworth was “properly integrated” based on whether there were any white people in the area during a 90-minute period.
Jenrick made the comments, which were recorded, during a dinner at the Aldridge-Brownhills Conservative Association dinner on 14 March after he had recorded a video for GB News about litter in the suburb.
Jenrick made the comments, which were recorded, during a dinner at the Aldridge-Brownhills Conservative Association dinner on 14 March after he had recorded a video for GB News about litter in the suburb.
He told the dinner: “I went to Handsworth in Birmingham the other day to do a video on litter and it was absolutely appalling. It’s as close as I’ve come to a slum in this country. But the other thing I noticed there was that it was one of the worst integrated places I’ve ever been to. In fact, in the hour and a half I was filming news there I didn’t see another white face.
A spokesperson for Jenrick declined to comment. A source close to him said it was clear what he meant about integration and that he had made an observation, immediately followed by a statement that it was not about skin colour or faith.
“I was immensely privileged for 23 years to serve that area and they are fantastic people of all colours, creeds, religions and no religion at all in Perry Barr and Handsworth,” he said.
“I think it’s very, very negative. These people have struggled day in day out to make ends meet under government imposed hardships. We’ve got a huge amount of HMOs [houses of multiple occupancy] in the area and the bin strike by the local authority hasn’t helped either. He’s playing on that. For the comment that he’s not seen a white face in Handsworth, that’s just ridiculous. There are still a few white people,
white, black, other sorts of people of all heritages and cultures.”
The area’s independent MP Ayoub Khan said: “The claims made by the shadow justice secretary are not only wildly false but also incredibly you cant complain about the number of migrants when its the government who have brought them in
He has misrepresented things by awkwardly distorting the product of an all-out bin strike, of course the people will dump rubbish in the streets
According to Birmingham city council, the ethnicity of Handsworth is still 9% white.
When questioned about those “white British” comments, the Conservative party leader, Kemi Badenoch, herself a migrant said: “People will use different words from what I would use. I’m not a micromanager.”
Anna Turley, the Labour party chair woman, challenged Badenoch to explain how Jenrick’s comments fitted in with her speech saying the party stands “against a politics that ‘reduces people to ethnic categories.
A New Statesman profile of Jenrick in July 2025 referred to his visit to Handsworth. It said Jenrick “agreed that there was an English ethnicity” but suggested he was concerned with “Britain’s cultural identity, not questions of race and religion”.
Georgie Laming, the director of campaigns at Hope Not Hate, the left wing racist party said: “If Robert Jenrick truly wants to see people live alongside each other, he shouldn’t make such inflammatory remarks. Britian has not been British for some time and rightly so
apparently Nutenyahu was asked if he had lost the wat with hamas what would he do ?

Turkey is Israel’s next target in the Middle East, Iran may be put on hold
in the past Iran protected Jordan and egypt, but no longer
Following Israel’s Doha strikes, Ankara is increasingly on high alert over Tel Aviv’s regional ambitions.
In Washington, Michael Rubin, a senior fellow at the right-leaning American Enterprise Institute, claimed that Turkey eill be Israel’s next target and warned that it should not rely on its NATO membership for protection. On social media, Israeli academic and political figure Meir Masri posted, “Today Qatar, tomorrow Turkey.” Ankara responded sharply. In unusually harsh language, a senior adviser to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan wrote: “To the dog of Zionist Israel … soon the world will find peace with your erasure from the map.”
For months, pro-Israel media outlets have steadily escalated their rhetoric against Turkey, portraying it as “Israel’s most dangerous enemy”.
Nutenyahu said Turkey will soon become part of the Greater israel projecr”
Israeli commentators have also framed Turkeys presence in the eastern Mediterranean as a “threat” and its role in rebuilding post-war Syria as a “new rising danger”.
With Israel’s regional aggression escalating and its war on Gaza showing no sign of ending, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan retaliated in August by suspending economic and trade ties with Israel, after the murders of several Turkish doctors and nurses in Gaza
“In Ankara, this [anti-Turkish] rhetoric is taken seriously, with Israel seen as seeking regional hegemony,” Omer Ozkizilcik, non-resident fellow at the Atlantic Council, told Al Jazeera.
