Police explosive expert examines the body of the slain terror suspect for explosive devices

Introduction – Oct 2, 2025

Nothing happens in isolation.

You can be sure that if Israel wasn’t conducting its genocidal campaign in Gaza incidents like Thursday’s attack near a synagogue in Manchester wouldn’t have happened.

To simply blame “rising anti-Semitism” doesn’t go far enough. For a more complete and comprehensive explanation we need to ask what’s causing the mounting “anti-Semitism” and for that we need look no further than Gaza.

Of course this doesn’t justify “anti-Semitism” in any shape or form but it helps explain the rising tide of anger toward Israel.

This is also why Starmer’s response to the attack is so nauseatingly hypocritical.

That’s because under his premiership Britain has supplied ammunition and intelligence from surveillance flights to the IDF for its operations in Gaza.

This makes UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer complicit in Israel’s genocidal campaign there.

In other words, Starmer is responsible, even if only indirectly, for provoking these terror attacks.

Yet the BBC breathes not a word of Starmer’s culpability. Nor, like the rest of the mainstream media, does it say much about the suspect, Jihad Al-Shamie, a British citizen of Syrian descent who was shot dead by police at the scene. This leaves a lot of unanswered questions.

For example:

Was he on a ‘terror suspect’ watch list?
And perhaps most significantly, when did he arrive in Britain and acquire his citizenship?

The BBC doesn’t provide clear answers to these questions. Instead, it devotes much coverage to Starmer’s pledge to protect the Jewish community. It’s just a pity he cannot extend the same offer to Gaza.

This is not to dismiss or minimise the deaths of the two killed in Manchester but they are dwarfed by the average daily death toll of around 100 in Gaza.

These Palestinians are also victims of ‘terror’ but we don’t hear so much about them from the BBC because Gaza is off-limits to the international media and the BBC obligingly plays along and doesn’t probe too deeply into the ongoing genocide there. Ed.
