Several government health care sites along with dozens of news site articles all say the same thing:
•They are telling doctors they are prohibited from prescribing ivermectin to prevent/treat covid as it is not approved in CANADA (NOT Alberta) to treat covid.
•Canada is not banning ivermectin as a treatment for parasites.
•They have never approved it to treat covid, and are actively warning people not to take veterinary grade ivermectin.
•People taking human grade ivermectin for covid, have allegedly created an ivermectin shortage, and are taking away medicine from parasite infected people.

A very inciteful commentary from Paul Craig Roberts as is usually the case. I hope as many Canadians read it as possible. Politicians have reached the most insufferable stage it is possible to get to, in Canada and many other western countries. Mr. Roberts makes the accurate statement “government has been privatized”, and gives several examples. I agree, and sure many others will likewise. Premiere Smith will have a lot to answer for as she wallows in her own corruption.

I wonder if y’all can help “spread the word” on this, too.
A number of Albertans have expressed concern in the last few days about our current UCP Premier Smith government “banning” the drug ivermectin.
Apparently, a former medical professional has been propagating this fallacy on social media.
FACT: ivermectin was banned as an acceptable drug by the Kenney government during the COVID-19 pandemic. This was done in collaboration with other health services nationwide and included discussion with the federal government.
Many Albertans have continued to use ivermectin since it was banned. They have done so, however, outside prescriptions made by AHS medical professionals.
FACT: the Smith government has started the process of trying to REMOVE ivermectin from the current “banned drug” list held by AHS.
They have no idea the process or length of time it will take for this to happen. However, please rest assured that Premier Smith, Minister LaGrange and their UCP government are committed to moving ivermectin off the banned drug list, where it has been for multiple years now.
I have received multiple concerns about this in the past few days. I went to my fellow board member Patrick Malkin who, I suspect you know, works in the Premier’s Office as her Deputy Chief of Staff.
Patrick has requested additional information and will share what he can with us early this week.
Please know, however, regardless what someone says on X… the current UCP government has NOT banned ivermectin.
It’s been banned since the Kenney government.
And the Smith government is trying to UNban it.
These are FACTS.
Before Covid Ivermectin was a wonder drug for animals and humans. It was being sold at very low prices because the patents owned by the pharmaceutical giant, Merck, had long expired. By August 2020, and not in reference to Covid, there were numerous peer-reviewed articles on Pub Med (we found 41) showing its use and effectiveness for a variety of ailments. Side effects were negligible, although human doses were far less than for horses.
Its main use was a very effective antiparasitic but it was found in 2020 during Covid to be more effective at saving the lives of the seriously-suffering elderly and those with serious autoimmune problems suffering serious respiratory problems with the effects of the US Covid bioweapon virus. It was in fact similar to HCQ (Hydroxychloroquine) which was also used mainly as an antiparasitic to treat Marilia since the 1950’s. During 2020, Ivermectin was found to be more effective than HCQ to cure people seriously afflicted with serious respiratory complications and to strengthen the immune system against the virus.
In most jurisdictions in English-speaking nations (in which lying by the authorities is now an accepted way of life) physicians were forbidden starting in the later half of 2020 from prescribing either HCQ or Ivermectin even to assist patient’s with serious life-threatening symptoms. This came about after Operation Warp Speed for the crooked pharmaceutical companies to allegedly “develop” an effective vaccine against the Covid plandemic virus (which our governments had allowed to be spread), even though the actual “uninflated” risk of death in the general population was less than .009%. Before the ban, both drugs were used most effectively and many lives were saved from serious Covid symptoms. The vaccines, as we now know, did not save any lives or even affect the spread.
So what does Wikipedia (one of the leading sources of establishment lies) say about HCQ?” It says, “Hydroxychloroquine has been studied for an ability to prevent and treat coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), but clinical trials found it ineffective for this purpose and a possible risk of dangerous side effects.”
The people who used either HCQ or Ivermectin treatment protocols for serious Covid symptoms or risks had no serious side effects and were cured. Many of those who were denied these totally-proven effective protocols, actually died horrible deaths. However, their deaths were “necessary” to the criminal Covid hierarch in order to spread the fear, the lockdowns, and the demand for the alleged “experimental” mRNA vaccines. The only thing “experimental” about these spike-protein-producing mRNA vaccines was that they had not yet been used yet for mass distribution, to see how many would die from them or suffer serious disabilities. However, but the authorities did know beforehand – and before 2020 of the serious adverse effects. What they did not know was how many the vaccines would kill outright or shorten the life spans of the vulnerable. [If you think they are not tracking all of the numbers in relation to the diverse batches you are very naive and you should stop reading right now, because the truth is not for liars or imbeciles.] They knew the actual risks and and to push the crap on us they suppressed the very drugs which would have made virtually everyone “safe”, such that no one would have died who was treated in time.
For those who were paying attention to what was really going on well before the lockdowns in early 2020, they would have come across the evidence of at the 40-odd US Military athletes showing up at the Military World Games in Wuhan, China in October, 2019, with respiratory flu symptoms just like those of Covid, and uncharacteristically not placing very well in any of the competitions. A few had more severe respiratory symptoms and attended a hospital in Wuhan and were prescribed HCQ which apparently cured them.
Trump, in March of 2020, while lockdowns were being proclaimed everywhere, said that HCQ was a cure and not to worry. However by May 2020 he was proclaiming, “Operation Warp Speed” and at the same time he recommended investing in Moderna, which “coincidentally” was a company set up before any alarm of the pandemic solely to flog the mRNA Moderna vaccines for the pandemic.
Meanwhile – while all of our governments, the mainstream media, and the medial authorities were suppressing the use of HCQ and Ivermectin in 2020 based on their lies of serious side effects, and helping those with serious symptoms to DIE, the late Dr. Zev Zelenko, was saving hundreds of lives in NY State with the use of either Quercetin or HCQ treatment protocols. The Quercetin protocol was mainly a prophylactic to strengthen the immune system but was also effectively used as a cure with those with less life-threatening symptoms. The HCQ protocols replaced Quercetin for those with more serious symptoms, and a respiratory antibiotic was added for those with even more serious respiratory symptoms.
By August 2020 Dr. Zelenko was recommending Ivermectin as an even more-effective drug in the treatment protocols than HCQ. By then he had been credited with saving the lives of more than 650 people in NY State who were at death’s door from the Covid virus. Because he ignored and thwarted the criminal authorities but did get his information out over the internet, many physicians did likewise and likely thousands of lives were saved. Certainly, many people like myself who had serious symptoms in 2021 who could not get either drug through a physician had to turn to other sources for the drugs, and as a result recovered very quickly. I still use Ivermectin whenever any flu symptoms come on. My wife who is a retired physician and has been on heavy-duty cancer drugs for the past 20 years is using Ivermectin, Vitamins C & D3, to strengthen her immune system. For all of those using the drug we have not heard of any adverse side effects.
Although, this is not recommendation, before the suppression Ivermectin was being held out in many of the peer-reviewed articles as a “wonder drug”.
As for the Premier of Alberta, Danielle Smith, I had high hopes for her and her government, but it turns out she as much of a fake as every other Premier of any other province in Canada, all whom have defied the the best interests of the people as well as the constituional authority of their own provinces over all health issues. They are all accomplices in crimes of supplanting good medicine and proper treatment protocols with the false jurisdiction of the top-down Covid authorities and the drug industries peddling their toxic vaccines.
For these people, whether liars of just ignorant … mercy? No, no mercy … none whatever.
