#1 The protests in Los Angeles have been extraordinarily violent. It is being reported that objects were being thrown at police vehicles, and at one point a car was set on fire in the middle of an intersection…
KTLA video footage shows lines of law enforcement officers standing in the streets as protesters taunted them, while others blocked a roadway and threw objects at police vehicles. In addition, a car sitting in the middle of an intersection was seen engulfed in flames:
#2 The mainstream media has generally been downplaying this fact, but it has been confirmed that “multiple federal law enforcement officers” have been injured by the protesters…
Large-scale protests have sprouted throughout L.A. County including in the Westlake District, downtown L.A. and Paramount, and have escalated to violence on several occasions. A federal law enforcement official tells CBS News that multiple federal law enforcement officers were injured during confrontations with protesters on Friday and Saturday.
#3 Setting fires in southern California is a very foolish thing to do because they can easily get wildly out of control. But some of these violent protesters were “starting fires with accelerants” anyway…
On Saturday, anti-ICE protesters were filmed starting fires with accelerants during the anti-ICE rallies.
You can clearly see in a video making the rounds on X that the protesters are spraying accelerant on the dry brush before they set in on fire. Others are wearing Mexican flags as they stand by and watch.
#4 In the old days, everyone knew that you just don’t mess with the U.S. Marshals Service. They may not have realized it at the time, but the crowd of protesters that “swarmed” a U.S. Marshals Service bus could have very easily gotten shot…

Smoke rose from burning shrubbery and refuse in the street, and demonstrators kicked at a Border Patrol vehicle.

#5 To me, the most shocking moment of the protests was when protesters hurled an explosive device into the ICE detention facility in downtown Los Angeles…

The federal government is moving to take over the California National Guard and deploy 2,000 soldiers. That move is purposefully inflammatory and will only escalate tensions.
LA authorities are able to access law enforcement assistance at a moment’s notice. We are in close coordination with the city and county, and there is currently no unmet need.
The Guard has been admirably serving LA throughout recovery.
This is the wrong mission and will erode public trust.

After one west London man was penalised with a fixed penalty notice (FPN) for putting his bins out early last month – more on which below – the shadow justice secretary, Robert Jenrick, warned that local authorities were veering into “Stasi-like control of people’s lives”.
“Instead of cracking down on genuine antisocial behaviour, such as the singing in pubs of the wartime song ” beware the dirty jew” the state tries to reassert itself by punishing well-meaning people for tiny infringements,” he told The Telegraph. “It’s the easy thing to do but it’s counter-productive and unfair.”

Trump did say he wanted to take war to the drugs cartels and maybe this is what really started it. Taking war to his own streets using immigration agents probably wasn’t the smartest thing to do. Taking down the cartels could have been law enforcement intelligence-led operations as most successful anti-narcotics operations are. But arresting old Mexican gardeners and their wives won’t stop the drugs coming in.
Sometimes Trump thinks he’s a king, other times a general, and he likes to be seen doing things which sometimes should not be seen, they should be conducted behind the scenes and some things should not be known they’re happening. His domestic, foreign and economic policies may bring down America on his own and boasting “I did that!” makes it awkward to reverse a failing policy and easier to pretend it’s working.

I saw tv news video of illegals collecting stones and rocks alongside the interstate. Some carried them onto a bridge over the road and threw them down or cars, both parked and moving. A moving police car was hit on the passenger side of the windshield. It shattered. Then they stopped the film.
It’s hard to believe that the very few injuries or deaths being reported so far were the only ones. They are firebombing parked cars and buildings from a distance; how do they know whether anyone is inside them?

I really don’t know what to say… In the 1990s I graduated, as an international student, from a US public university with a Master’s degree. Maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout. Scored in the 90+ percentile on my GRE and GMAT. The day after my last semester ended, I had to a get on a plane and leave the country for good. The visa expired, and that was the end of the story. No other avenues whatsoever (tourism, social visit, traineeship, job search) were open at the time.
Fast-forward 30 years, and dozens of millions of illegals from Peru and China and wherever just walk in, then threaten to burn down the country should anyone touch their “rights.”
That said, I understand that the system wants this to happen, for all sorts of nefarious purposes that will reveal themselves soon enough.

The Irish are on the streets protesting too many foreigners in their country and while that’s the opposite of what’s happening in LA because there it’s the foreigners rising up, this is good to see for various reasons. The western governments who for decades now have taken liberties with their people needed something to shake them up even if it’s not their own people doing it, and with Americans in particular they have been gung-ho for generations taking death and destruction to civilians abroad. Now America can have its own taste of Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, Syria, Gaza and so many more taken back home.
Foreigners may have begun this but if it brings Karma to the Purveyors of Death I’m all for it. Britain has some Karma to come too, and while the Southport riots were suppressed the authorities may more easily lose control of a foreign uprising, and both here and in the US it could lead to wider rebellion.
The “authorities” need to read the riot act and then shoot dead the communists that do not disburse, AND round up the rest from their face photos and the phone data.

The well placed pallet of concrete bricks made me smile. Here in New Zealand about 3 years ago some of my relatives were at the protest encampment at the government buildings for the anti plandemic mandate protests. One or two well placed pallets of bricks were there and those who started throwing these bricks were unidentifiable and none of the protesters believed that the brick throwers were part of the real and genuine protest movement. Many believe those bricky people were undercover cops or some such.
But at least that was a genuine protest for a genuine reason by genuine and peace loving humans.
