The United States may lose the weapons to deter China due to its continued involvement in conflicts in the Middle East, particularly in Yemen. This threatens the ability of the US military to maintain the necessary balance, according to The New York Times.
Senior US Army officials are increasingly concerned that the Pentagon will soon have to move long-range precision weapons from the Asia-Pacific to the Middle East due to active hostilities and the constant use of ammunition in military operations.
According to The New York Times’ congressional sources, this is due to the heavy burden on the US armed forces as a result of the conflicts in the Middle East, in particular the bombing of Yemen, which was launched by President Donald Trump.
The deployment of US warships and aircraft in the Middle East after the Israel-Gaza war in October 2023, as well as attacks by Houthi militants on ships in the Red Sea, have led to a significant decline in US readiness in the Asia-Pacific region.
The high work pace and constant attacks are forcing the US military to work in conditions where even basic equipment maintenance is becoming problematic.
President Trump’s aides, such as Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Deputy Defense Secretary Elbridge Colby, have said that the United States should focus on strengthening its forces in Asia to contain China’s growing military ambitions.
They emphasize that support for Ukraine and long military campaigns in the Middle East have drained American resources, leaving the United States less prepared for new conflicts in the region.
The issue of US military readiness will be discussed during Admiral Samuel Paparo’s testimony before Congress in the coming days.
He will likely be forced to answer questions about balancing resources at a time when Israel and other countries in the region may increase military activity.
Confrontation escalation between United States and Houthis
Over the past two weeks, the confrontation between the United States military and the militants of the Islamic Houthi group in Yemen has escalated.
On March 15, the US military attacked militant targets on a large scale. In this way, Washington is trying to restore commercial shipping in the Gulf of Aden and push Iran to conclude a nuclear deal.
In particular, the strikes killed several Islamist leaders.
In response, on March 16, the Houthis fired on the USS Harry S Truman aircraft carrier in the Red Sea.
US President Donald Trump believes that the militants have suffered very heavy blows and now want peace.

President Donald Trump is not a military man. He is a businessman and a dealmaker, or so he claims. So when it comes to military matters he relies on his advisors who, we suspect, are prone to present overly optimistic assessments to win his approval.
This is exemplified in the final sentence of the report above. The Houthis may have suffered losses but they are nowhere near broken and they remain defiant.
Trump’s ignorance of military matters was further illustrated in his recent warning that “very bad things will happen” if Iran refuses to negotiate over its nuclear program.
Trump doesn’t seem to understand, or his advisors haven’t informed him, that Iran has spent the last quarter of a century preparing for a military confrontation with the U.S. So while Tehran may not be actively seeking conflict, if Trump insists on making unrealistic demands it wont back down.
Iran is not Afghanistan or Iraq. It is better equipped militarily and if conflict ensues Trump may find that he has taken on far more than he bargained for.
The U.S. military is having problems enough dealing with Iran’s proxies, the Houthis. It will be infinitely worse if Trump decides to take on Iran. Such a war could spell the end of America as a global power. Ed.
Maybe Trump is projecting America’s own weaknesses upon China and thinks messing with its business incomes will sink it like his own country is sinking, to the point it can’t afford the weapons it needs for the global armed robbery spree it needs just to stay afloat.
An interesting comment yesterday said it’s possible Trump is putting in place a mechanism for the US to impose secondary tariffs similar to secondary sanctions – like “Buy Venezuelan oil and we’ll sanction you” – except this time it would be “Trade with China and we’ll tariff you”.
Turning gangster won’t improve the business prospects of a lawless nation and may ultimately finish it off. Jewish-run America has always been a meddlesome, bloodthirsty, imperialistic power that has killed 100’s of millions of innocent people since the year 1900. From wholesale massacres in the Philippines, Japan, Korea and Vietnam to France, Germany, Bosnia and Iraq, Americans continue to remain blissfully unaware or disinterested in their country’s many crimes, cocooned as they are by two oceans, their lives untouched and safe from the ravages they’ve inflicted on so many others.
Since the Roosevelt revolution of 1933, America has submitted itself willingly to Jewish domination, and, inexplicably enough, happily and knowingly sacrificed untold money and lives to further an agenda not their own.

The better educated among them, the white college kids, I suspect, are aware of the supine and submissive attitude of their government towards their Jewish masters and have no desire to die for Israel in a major and bloody conflict against a nation that, despite the propaganda, they very well know is no threat to them, their country and their homes and families.
Met with determined resistance from a motivated, well-equipped, well-trained, homogenous and spiritually strong enemy, pampered American soldiers will break, throw down their weapons and run away, that is, if they aren’t a safe distance from the front line, staring at a computer screen and pushing buttons and blowing up their enemy as if playing some sort of video game. In that respect, a rude surprise awaits because war is no game, despite the mentality of young Americans who know more about Grand Theft Auto then they do the history of their own country.
And, if taken prisoner, these same sheltered and pampered ‘soldiers’ will no doubt cry like babies, crawl and plead for their lives and tell their captors whatever they want to know. What a joke!
Inevitably, the American gangster state will fall and take its degenerate, obscene and disgusting Judeo-culture with it. And this fall will, if history is any guide, result from military defeat, bankruptcy and revolution.
As Hitler himself said, America will one day give a giant heave much like an animal, and shake off the vermin sucking away its blood and treasure and only then will white Americans be free and able to pursue a destiny of their own.
