I don’t agree with LJ. The Russians are in Iran operating their S400 systems, and they require Russian satellites, and I’m sure the Russians and Chinese are providing all sorts of assistance.

The Independent Press Standards Organisation (IPSO) has decided not to launch an investigation into the world’s oldest Jewish newspaper despite concerns about lies and editorial standards. However, the regulator said it would continue to monitor the title and asked bosses to submit regular reports containing any concerns.

Larry Johnson is an excellent clarifyer of situations. But even he falls short of being reassuring here, if indeed he means to be. Trump had bellowed his threat to Iran very convincingly, and with desirous intent: He would bomb Iran with unprecedented intensity if Iran does not put its nuclear industry on Trump’s ‘new deal’ negotiation table. Iran said ‘no’ anyway. Then there was silence.
Was Trump only play-acting, and someone, possibly Putin, shut him up, perhaps with the obvious counter-threat … That is, we witnessed a bluff and a counter-bluff. So there is nothing to worry about? I wish.
One thing is for sure……the English are in for a surprise.

Russia will not defend Iran.
However Russia will likely provide some Kinzhal missiles and some technicians to help hit targets at Mach 7 to 10 speeds.
That would be enough for Iran to sink some American ships and make the world celebrate.
I’m sure Russia would love to get back at America for their proxy war in Ukraine and the American technicians operating the patriot missile batteries.
