Hua Bin – The Unz Review April 1, 2025
As Trump rolls out his tariffs on the world on “liberation day”, China watches with glee. It doesn’t happen everyday when one’s adversary blows his head off in front of you on his own initiative. Talk about never interrupt your enemy when he is making the mother of all mistakes…
The inevitable result of Trump’s tariff war will be a severe disruption to the global supply chain. As a nation who sits at the bottom end of the supply chain with its over consumption and reliance on imports for both consumer and business needs, such a disruption will lead to inflation and an economic recession.
To counter higher inflation and economic downturn, the Fed will have to raise interest rate and the government will increase spending to stimulate the economy. As the US government spending already accounts for a quarter of GDP, higher interest payments and more expenditures will further increase deficit, forcing more debt borrowing and more deficits – a perfect vicious cycle.
It is clear the US is focused on militarily confronting China in Taiwan. China’s military advancement is forcing the US to spend huge amounts of money to get ready for a war:
- The recently announced F-47 sixth generation fighter program
- Developing hypersonic missile technology to catch with China and Russia
- Developing hypersonic defense
- Preparing for space warfare such as the orbital carrier concept from Gravitics
- Upgrading naval ship building for both surface vessels and submarines
- Investing in large scale swarming drones
- Military AI and robotics
- Upgrading nuclear arsenal
- Fortressing Guam for potential Chinese attacks
- Building and fortifying military bases in Japan and the Philippines
The for-profit US military industrial complex will pile in to maximize costs. Those include not only the 5 oligarchs monopolizing arms sales today but new entrants peddling overpriced new solutions such as Anduril and SpaceX. Expect to see more no-bids contracts like the Boeing F-47 program.
As China currently spends less than 1.5% GDP on defense vis-a-vis 3.5% for the US and 2% global average, China can easily afford to up the ante and trigger further military spending from the US. Just as the US bankrupted the USSR to win the Cold war, history is repeating itself and China will force the US to spend its way to defeat. Sun Tzu defined the best war strategy is to win without fighting.
Despite his rhetorics, Trump is solving none of the structural issues facing the US – infrastructure, education, lack of manufacturing competitiveness, overburdened finance. With his insane tariffs, he is bifurcating the world into two camps – the high cost and high barrier US-led west and the low cost low barrier China-led global south.
As Trump spends, baby, spends into bankruptcy, China has its best unpaid agent in the white house.

EXPOSED: Racist Boss of Britain’s ‘wokest’ council who made staff take ‘white privilege test’
– while taking home £270k pay package
The boss of Britain’s ‘wokest’ council where staff were encouraged to take a ‘white privilege test’
took home a £271,430 pay package last year, research has revealed.
There is no such thing as White Privilege ”
Positive discrimination was brought in to put coloured folk in front of our people
the very people who built this country, which now gives black privilege
what does he think the BLM was about ?
The monster pay package for Stuart Love, Chief Executive of the City of Westminster council,
was mostly made up of his £232,389 salary, making him the fifteenth highest paid council fat cat by salary in 2024.
That’s £60,236 more than Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s salary.
Trump’s attitude to the rest of the world kind of confirms the claims he’s a bit of a dodgy operator, passing non-agreed costs onto contractors who build his properties by claiming poor work or late delivery etc, and sometimes simply withholding fees for which a lawsuit would be needed to claim so a case isn’t always opened. It might work well in America especially for rich players but the rest of the world has options.
YES..
The imbeciles are finally waking up to the plan, the Empire du jour is always collapsed before the culture creators, merchants and financialists bail out…and they generally ‘spend’ a century preparing the new one..
this new one is China, which of course they have been busy moulding since the 1920’s because of course classical Chinese culture died with about 70 million of its inhabitants, whilst they were busy collapsing Europe…and stress testing various flavours of communist kritarchy ( polytickal judaism)…
The Americans are now being lined up for their denouement, lets hope they can find some of that rugged individualism we all admired once upon a time and less of the whining narcissism…
I’d pop over to lend a hand, the local netball team will look after the pile…
I can see how this all goes down with America’s rich when the full effects become clearer. “Let them eat … where’s the cake? What d’yer mean, ‘ain’t gonna be no more cake?'”
There’s not a lot of brain power, even if you listen to a thousand people from various countries: you will have to find the wise person. “Who I been” is not it
If China is such an adversary then why in hell are we trading with them in the first place?
If we are really “dependent” on trade with China then we ought not to be, which is another reason to cut trade with that ever growing monster now buying up everything of value everywhere in the West.
Their purchase of harbors, mills, industries, valuable farm lands and properties, INSHORE is the cherry on the outsourcing cake to all of the exploitable and irresponsible Western investors and entrepreneurs who have GREEDILY and STUPIDLY outsourced virtually everything else to that nation to make themselves enormously rich ever since 1979 – all on our backs using our unprotected markets to flog their low cost goods.
Cutting off trade with China is long overdue and never should have begun in the first place, not just based on the CLEARLY FORESEEABLE huge trade deficits which would change our nations from creditor nations to debtor nations, but also on the fact that the history of the PRC is that of the most brutal and repressive nation the world has ever seen.
To see who the culprits in our midst really are all you have to do is follow the money and see the BlackRock, Vanguard, and State Street investments in that nation, plus all of the Rothschild banks and holdings in China. Walmart is a good example of an American-Chinese monster flooding our nations with the LC stuff. They are all totally EMBEDDED in China and the Chinese government with all of its bounty from its joint ventures with the traitorous “globalist”, alleged “free-trade” Western investors, while using our markets essentially to kill us economically, has since the 1990’s been controlling our major political parties and the election campaigns.
What OUGHT TO BE more ALLARMING, but is not, is the Chinese money which supported the Democrats in the last US election, and the newly APPOINTED PM of Canada, recently “borrowing” $250 million from China to finance his party’s election campaign.
The choice is shaping up for all Western nations either to be increasingly under Chinese domination and ownership, or to WAKE UP and say to China, “Even though your products are cheaper, we simply cannot afford them.” – and right in the beginning we never really could anyway. Without balanced trade there is no equality or a level playing field in anything, and our nations simply end up as wards of the international banking cartel and that insidious “money power” which wants our nations and our cultures to disappear anyway under the false guise of globalism and their UN Agenda pretexts.
What an absolute load of nonsense. China does not have the capability to defeat the US militarily or economically. China in its geographical and political position is vulnerable. They cannot be wanting a war. All the areas of China under central Beijing control are breathless waiting for China to be carved up into regions independently governed. At the same time China’s economy is presently in free fall and only remains barely sustainable because of propping up by the central government.
Insider trading is another point raised by someone on another site and that’s a strong possibility. Imagine being a Trump government insider and knowing a few days beforehand what countries, and therefore their exports to the US, the percentage points of their tariffs and where else some of that business might shift to. Maybe a lot of that estimated $6trillion in losses didn’t get lost but shifted into the hands of the favoured.
Chesterton– excellent comment. I learned a new word today from the professor – kritarchy. Had to look up definition
The military, industrial, and economic power of so called empires throughout the centuries have been used as vehicles by the JWO to project their power and subjugate other countries politically and economically, bringing them under cartel control. U.S. hegemony.has been scheduled for implosion and Chump has been put in place to implement policies that facilitate the process. China/BRICS has been selected as the new power base to bring in the final stages of the JWO.
“As Trump rolls out his tariffs on the world on “liberation day”, China watches with glee.”
Really? Hua Bin is asian and using American news site to attack Americans. Who would have even thunk it. China’s economy is completely dependent on massive trade DEFICITS, which have been the case since the jew kissinger opened up the chinese markets back in the nixon years. This has to be reversed because all nations have to produce their own products for stability and security reasons. We see china is a real threat now by their own retaliatory tariffs against the US, so true colors are showing. If chian was concerned about Americans, they would understand these trade deficits are dangerous. The US was a manufacturing power, and must become so again.
Perhaps it’s time for all the world’s countries to consider stopping trading with the US altogether and trading with one another instead!😉👍👌
