Missiles in Iranian underground base
Iran International – March 31, 2025
Iran has warned enemies against any potential attack on its territory, saying it is prepared to use its underground missile cities to impose a heavy cost on the US after Donald Trump ramped up his rhetoric against Tehran.
“Iran has achieved a level of active deterrence in which any violation of its sovereignty will be met with a severe response,” the General Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces said in a statement on Sunday marking the anniversary of the Islamic Republic’s foundation.
The state-run English newspaper Tehran Times also reported that “Iranian missiles are loaded onto launchers in all underground missile cities and are ready for launch.”
“Opening the Pandora’s box will come at a heavy cost for the US government and its allies,” the report added, citing information it had obtained.
Tehran Times is owned by Islamic Propagation Organization whose director is appointed by Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
Trump on Sunday warned of bombing Iran if Tehran fails to reach a deal over its nuclear program.
“If they don’t make a deal, there will be bombing — and it will be bombing the likes of which they have never seen before,” Trump was quoted as saying during a phone interview with NBC News’ Kristen Welker.
Hours later, Trump told reporters he “would prefer a deal to the other alternative which I think everybody on this plane knows what that is. That’s not going to be pretty.”

On Saturday, a report by The Telegraph said Iran would strike a British-American naval base in the Indian Ocean if it were attacked by the US.
The report, which cited a senior Iranian military official, came after Washington deployed long-range bombers at the strategic airbase.
B-2 Spirit bombers have arrived at Naval Support Facility Diego Garcia in Chagos Islands, a US Strategic Command spokesperson confirmed to Iran International earlier this week as Washington ramps up rhetoric against Iran.
In an apparent response to the deployment, the Iranian official told The Telegraph, “There will be no distinction in targeting British or American forces if Iran is attacked from any base in the region or within the range of Iranian missiles.”
However, the Indian Ocean base is 3,800 kilometers from the Iran and Iranian ballistic missiles have a maximum range of 2,000 kilometers.

It’s being reported Egypt is moving its troops at its border and a spooked Israel is asking Trump for help. What can he do about it if it’s his threats that have caused this move? He can only make it worse not better.

One in 15 deaths in North East Lincolnshire due to air pollution
Story by Clara Margotin, Data Reporter •
One in 20 adult deaths in North East Lincolnshire were caused by air pollution in 2023, new figures suggest.
Other studies suggest 3 times this number
An environmental organisation said growing evidence of the risks of Chemtrailing air pollution poses to health shows the Government must do more to protect people from these dangerous pollutants. The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs analyses the proportion of deaths among those aged 30 and older caused by air pollution, specifically by fine particle matter (PM2.5).
The figures show 7.5% of deaths among this cohort in North East Lincolnshire in 2023 were attributable to particulate air pollution.
It was slightly up from 5.3% the previous year.
Across England, 5.2% of adult deaths were attributable to metalic particulate air pollution in 2023 – down from 5.8% the year before and the lowest figure since records began in 2018. But there were notable geographical differences, as 8.4% of adult deaths were attributable to pollution in the City of London, compared to just 3.3% in the Isles of Scilly in the South West, for instance.
The Department of Health and Social Care says poor air quality is an important public health issue, as it can develop and worsen potentially fatal conditions – such as coronary heart disease, stroke, respiratory disease, lung cancer, and cause asthma related conditions.
Separate DEFRA figures show the average concentration of fine particulate matter stood at seven micrograms per cubic metre of air in England in 2023 – the smallest level registered since records began in 2018.
in North East Lincolnshire, this figure stood at around 7.3 micrograms per cubic metre of air.
Jenny Bates, air pollution campaigner at Friends of the Earth, warned while air pollution has declined across England, further evidence shows “how dangerous it truly is to our health”.
“It has killed off almost all insect life on which our wild birds feed
She mentioned the World Health Organisation only halved its guideline for the most dangerous fine particulate pollution a few years ago, adding areas that were considered safe from hazardous air pollution levels until then may now be at risk.
She said: “This is exactly why better public awareness, although important, is not enough.
“It’s up to the Government to stop massaging figures and mandate more action from the sectors most responsible, including carbon-intensive transport, woodburning and agriculture.

Family doctors should not be forced to prescribe cross-sex hormones to children, say GPs
Family doctors should not be made to prescribe cross-sex hormones to under-18s, the Royal College of GPs has said.
In a “position statement” update, the Royal College of GPs set out the limitations of the role family doctors should play in changing childrens sex
Healthcare, particularly when it comes to children being schooled to question their gender.
The update, which was agreed by the RCGP council earlier this month, states that the profession should not be prescribing gender-affirming hormones to children in fact anyone under 18 years old.
it comes amid various legal challenges attempting to ban the use of cross-sex drugs in children.
While there is now a UK-wide ban on the use of puberty blockers – except for an NHS-run clinical trial – it is still possible for children to be given cross-sex hormones, such as testosterone and estrogen, which are also known as “gender-affirming hormones”.
ne legal challenge against their continued availability to under-18s is being led by Kiera Bell, one of a group made to change sex and then who regretted trans surgery.
The legal case argues that the drugs issued to children pose an “irreversible” and “unacceptable” risk to the health of thousands of these vulnerable children talked into having sex changes
Cross-sex hormones change the physical sexual characteristics of a person, while puberty blockers delay the onset of puberty by suppressing the release of hormones.
The NHS has warned LBGT providers to be “extremely cautious” when considering whether to issue cross-sex hormones to children, because of their harmful side effects, but under current guidance, Children and Young People Gender Services are able to give it to them.
Often young patients who have been seen by a specialist and receive a prescription will continue to receive their treatment via their GP under “shared care agreements”.
