Israelis witnessing the “almost 180-degree shift on Ukraine from the Biden administration to the Trump administration” fear similar could happen with Israel, according to a new report in the Jewish Insider.

The almost 180-degree shift on Ukraine from the Biden administration to the Trump administration — from vocal support and a flow of weapons to the threat of a halt of arms shipments and a call to abruptly end the war without security guarantees, is almost a mirror image of the change in Washington when it comes to Israel — where there were freezes on some weapons and a cease-fire plan that would keep Hamas in power and now $4 billion in arms were approved and the White House supports Israel blocking aid to Gaza.
Yet, after President Donald Trump’s confrontation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky last week, some experts are warning that the implosion of ties between Washington and Kyiv could have ramifications for Israel.
According to Chatham House senior fellow and former Knesset member Ksenia Svetlova, “what happened in the White House with Zelensky shows that the U.S. doesn’t have a constant policy or permanent allies. If there are no permanent allies, if Ukraine is thrown into the trash after all these years … no one is immune.”
According to Svetlova, the fact that the Biden administration froze some weapon shipments to Israel amid domestic political pressure shows that “there are no holy cows, not even Israel.”
“Even in the current term, Trump can change. If there are no constant interests or doctrines, that means anything can change. Israel must be prepared to become like Ukraine,” she said.
I don’t know that the situation is going to change any time soon but the fact is when you go on Twitter the only people who support the US funding Israel are shills being paid by Israel or Israeli proxies.

Zelensky is not Netanyahu and Ukraine is not Israel, and Trump pulling support from Ukraine does not mean he may pull support from Israel, it’s more likely he’ll give Ukraine’s support to Israel.
Maybe Netanyahu has told him you can no longer save both.

More possible talks about NordStream 2 being opened. This time the suggestion is the US could “own” it, I suppose as a tenancy or a guardianship in the same way I call this place “my” flat when it’s the landlord’s. That would probably protect it better from Europe who may think they can blow it again–even though it’s in their economic interests to use the gas that would come through it. This is the first time I’ve seen an economic imperative take second place but it is to political pride, so maybe no price can ever beat that.

Although the US Deep State despises Trump and is organising demos (hate-fests) against him in many cities, perhaps it’s his own attempts at US protectionism that will do for him in the end. His economic policy is to tax, tariff or sanction everybody else including allies, but they’re fighting back so strong it almost looks like a collective action. China is putting a further counter-tariff of 15% on US agricultural products, and as the US farmer and consumer are already hurting this is a prescription for more pain in that one sector alone, but it’s looking like Trump’s US economy is heading for economic counter-measures.

The same Trump who sent the CIA over to Israel, to arrest Michael Steinmetz (father) Baruch Steinmetz (son) (both Jewish), for desecrating Jewish graves in the USA, with ‘nazi’ graffiti, not long after he became president, yet ignored the 5 Dancing Israelis, arrested by the police after 9/11, who were extradited back to Israel (at the command of the Israeli ambassador to the US) and later appeared on a late night talk show, admitting they were there “to document the event”?
There’s more chance of Donald Trump, walking butt naked down Wall street, flagellating himself, with a ‘cat-o-nine-tails’ while confessing his sins, before he’d ever abandon Israel. As if Trump gives a damn about the American people, or any whites that is.
