With the dire state of America’s infrastructure, Iran if attacked may only need strike a few of those targets in the eastern states to cause massive problems across the whole USA. Better than targeting populations to seek casualty figures. Hit a few major rail network junctions and major road bridges, including one or two over the Erie Canal to end freight to and from the Great Lakes. The economy could quickly grind to a halt with logjams as people try moving west to escape new hardships, some for a while, some forever, with next to nothing moving east except a bit of air freight to small airstrips the Iranians didn’t bother striking.
I wonder how much the US government would put Israel First then?

The west has lost any sort of competition years ago. Immigration (the worst, not the best from other countries), the woke rainbow agenda, government corruption (money obsession), The climate change scam, the vaccine rollout and overregulation will all contribute to the demise of the western world. There is no need for bombs or wars, these are just an attempt by failing dynasties trying to prove they still have power.
