Donald Trump was elected on a promise to drain the swamp. But it took Elon Musk to figure out where the swamp was located. As it happens, permanent Washington resides in the vast government agencies that suck trillions of dollars into a black hole pushing the country closer and closer to bankruptcy. Musk pinpointed these out-of-control agencies as the bastion of the overbloated bureaucracy that pose the greatest threat to the survival of the nation. In response, he created the Department Of Government Efficiency or DOGE, the most innovative watchdog agency in US history, comprised entirely of genius-level talent tasked with the job of blitzing-through the ocean of abstruse government data to expose the trillions of dollars in waste, fraud and abuse.
DOGE had been making impressive strides in putting America’s fiscal house back in order, when they were stopped in their tracks by a rearguard action launched by one particularly adept attorney who manipulated the levers of legal power in a way that brought Trump’s anti-corruption campaign to a screeching halt. His name is Norm Eisen, and he appears to be the driving force behind the lawfare strategy that is preventing DOGE (Department Of Government Efficiency) from doing its job and saving the country from insolvency.
Surprisingly, Eisen does not deny his pivotal role in preventing the Trump team from doing their job and eradicating corruption at the agencies so America can get its fiscal house back in order. In fact, he even boasted that “my group and our allies and many others and going to court and securing these orders stopping them.” This is from an article at Gateway Pundit:

Did I hear that right? So, it is not the federal judges we should blame for the obstructionist maneuvers that are preventing audits at the various government agencies, but one activist lawyer who is driven by God-knows-what?
With that in mind, I decided to put this blunt question to Musk’s new AI creation Grok 3:

Is that an overstatement?

But, why? Is Eisen really concerned about threats to personal privacy or is he more focused on sabotaging Trump’s attempt to put the nation’s finances on solid footing? What drives a man to act in a way that is clearly against the interests of his own country?

So, Soro’s foundation is providing big money to an organization “co-founded by Norm Eisen” that attacks Trump?
Once again, we cannot independently verify this, but it seems probable given Eisen’s activities which are hard to explain otherwise. “Slime Balls”?? That’s pretty harsh criticism even for Trump, which suggests that he has had numerous encounters with Eisen in the past, which appears to be the case. In fact, Eisen has been a thorn in Trump’s side for nearly a decade. Here’s how Jeff Carsol summed it up on X:
Most are aware of Norm Eisen but not everyone is aware of just how pervasive Eisen (and his legal attacks) have been – and how he’s weaved his way through all the major events of the last eight years.
After Ben Wittes first invoked the use of Lawfare against Trump (a month before the 2016 election), Eisen responded by ramping up his legal efforts at Brookings – and soon became the effective outside legal counsel for Mueller’s special counsel investigation. Eisen even developed specific legal strategies for Mueller to use.
Before Mueller’s report was even released Eisen shifted seamlessly to impeachment counsel for House Dems – where he drafted ten different articles of impeachment against Trump. All of which were written a month before Pelosi announced an official impeachment inquiry into Trump.

Eisen was also working with another longtime collaborator, Michael Podhorzer, on Dem efforts in the 2020 election. Podhorzer has been called the Architect of the 2020 election.
Eisen then moved on to seemingly direct all the legal cases against Trump. Eisen appears to have written (on background) many of the drafts for Fani Willis – and developed many of the strategic attacks for Jack Smith.
It’s not us saying this. Eisen’s published multiple volumes on each section I’ve mentioned through Brookings Institute where he’s a senior fellow.
Eisen’s also directly tied in – and working with – Mary McCord and her lawfare group at Georgetown. They reportedly meet weekly by phone – and their group includes all the msnbc legal talking heads.
A known area of specific focus is restricting Trump’s use of the Insurrection Act to quell violent protests & riots.
Eisen also has a new working group called State Democracy Defenders Action acting in conjunction with his lawfare partners and most of the media’s legal talking heads. And it looks like they’re trying to push a Color Revolution in response to Trump’s new presidency.
Eisen has recently been bragging on MSNBC about his role in getting an activist judge to temporarily rule against DOGE.
So beyond the obvious questions surrounding Eisen, who has been paying for all these legal attacks?

What does a free speech campaigner look like in 2025?
and why is her Christian beliefs being criticised ?
How about a shy, slender mother of two with an infectious smile, whose brown eyes film over with tears as she recounts the seven years of hell she has just endured? And who has just celebrated a milestone judgment in the Court of Appeal – but wants nothing more than to disappear from the spotlight?
What happened to Kristie Higgs is a chilling tale for our times. It is the Byzantine account of how anyone’s online privacy can be invaded at a keystroke and words twisted to take on a meaning that was never intended.
Hers is the salutary story of a Christian woman sacked from her job at a secondary school for expressing legitimate opinions on a social media platform that ran counter to the LBGT woke agenda being promoted in early education.
“I’m not any sort of activist,” the 49-year-old tells me quietly. “I’m not angry, I’m just an ordinary person who has been fighting to tell the truth and have that truth acknowledged.
“I feel relieved it’s all over. The Appeal Court judgment represents a landmark day for Christian freedom and free speech – but honestly I just want to get on with my life.”
Last week three judges ruled in Higgs’s favour, describing her employer’s decision to dismiss her for gross misconduct as “unlawfully discriminatory” and “disproportionate”.

This extraordinary turn of events began way back in 2018 in the pretty Cotswolds town of Fairford, where Higgs was born and bred. As a child she attended the local primary and then Farmor’s School, the secondary where she was eventually employed as pastoral administrator and work experience manager.
“My job was to supervise students who had been removed from class. They would come to my office in varying states of frustration or anger and I would show them where to sit and encourage them to get on with work,” she says.
“They saw it as a safe space and a place where they could decompress. There were pupils at the school who were homosexual and some who were being pushed to change gender – I treated them all the same, with love and support.”
Married to Darren, 51, an electrician, with sons now aged 18 and 15, she found her job fulfilling and was popular with the students. But despite her unblemished record over seven years, one day in late 2018 she received a call from the HR department and was asked to attend a meeting with the head teacher that afternoon.
“I didn’t know why anyone wanted to see me – I didn’t even speculate because I assumed it was something run of the mill.”
That meeting marked the start of a gruelling bigotted process during which she was demonised for her religious beliefs, accused of being “pro-Nazi” and suspended pending investigation.
“The HR woman showed me two pieces of paper, printouts of Facebook posts I had shared on my personal account,” she says, over Zoom. Wearing a plain white blouse, she often looks stricken as she recounts her experience. “In them I had raised concerns about lessons promoting LBGT gender fluidity that were being introduced at my younger son’s Church of England primary school.
“He was only eight years of age and I was shocked. As a Christian I trusted the school implicitly but I discovered the No Outsiders programme [a series of sessions that use story books to teach inclusiveness and diversity to children in primary schools], which also equates homosexual marriage with marriage between a man and a woman and states that sex is a matter of choice not biology, would be taught to children as young as four.”
No Outsiders is the controversial programme that sparked a row between schools and Muslim parents in Birmingham in 2019; picture books given to children include My Princess Boy, Julian is a Mermaid and the gender allegory Red: A Crayon’s Story about a red crayon that discovers it has been mislabelled and is really blue.
“As a parent I didn’t want my son to be educated in matters that were not aligned with my religious beliefs,” says Higgs. “People could choose to agree or disagree. I would never tell others what to think. I felt my son was too young to understand the issues so, with the agreement of teachers, he was excused from the lessons.”
In October 2018 Higgs went onto Facebook and reposted an online petition against making homosexual relationships education mandatory. She also shared an article about the rise of transgender ideology in children’s books in American schools, saying: “Please read this! They are brainwashing our children!”
These were posted on her private Facebook page, which has around 100 followers. Her aim, she says, was to spread awareness. The teaching of LBGT “gender fluidity” and the view that same-sex marriage was equivalent to marriage between a man and a woman, conflicted with the Christian faith.

“I wanted to let other parents know what was going on. I posted it under my maiden name and I didn’t mention my son or his school. That was all. I’m not sure I even checked to see what the responses were; I left people to research it for themselves.”
But someone who saw the posts complained to the head of Farmor’s School saying that they deemed them to be “grossly offensive”, “insulting [to] the LGBT crowd” and “liable to damage the school’s reputation in the community”.
At that first meeting Higgs was suspended pending investigation and asked to clear her desk. It later emerged that a member of staff had trawled through her work emails in search of any wrongdoing; one school official demanded to know if she had used her professional email address to subscribe to a Christian broadcast service that sent out daily inspirational Bible readings.
“I could not believe they had gone into my email messages looking for evidence that I was a Christian. It felt as if I was being persecuted for my faith,” Higgs said in 2019. Eventually, later that year, she was called into a six-hour disciplinary meeting.
“When we entered the room it was daylight and when we left it was dark. I was completely traumatised; instead of being given an opportunity to speak, I was silenced and sacked for ‘gross misconduct and being a christian.’”
Higgs, who is a member of Fairford Christian Fellowship, a prayer group that interprets the Bible literally, describes herself as an introvert. She certainly comes across as a gentle soul who dotes on her family and whose favourite, solitary pastime is walking her cavapoo, Junior, in the Gloucestershire countryside.
In the wake of her dismissal, friends – and her former students – would get in touch with her. When I ask her to elaborate, she bursts into tears.
“A lot of adults were too frightened to talk or give support – these days nobody really knows what it’s safe to say – but I would be greeted warmly when I was out and about.
“The kids were more demonstrative. One student presented me with a bunch of flowers. Another gave me a huge hug in the street which was just so lovely. They said they missed me – I really missed them and I still do.” Higgs and her father, Phil, 78, a retired administrator who had worked at the local RAF base, resolved to appeal the decision and turned to the Christian Legal Centre, a campaign group that defends Christians’ rights.
With its support, she took the school to an employment tribunal, arguing she had been unlawfully discriminated against because of her Christian beliefs. The saga was to drag on for seven years.
The school denied dismissing Higgs because of her religious beliefs and said she was sacked because of the christian language used in the posts, which risked reputational damage to the school.
But in 2023 an Employment Appeal Tribunal judgment ruled in her favour – then, against her wishes, sent the case back to an employment tribunal for a fresh decision over whether her dismissal was lawful.
Finally, last Wednesday three appeal judges ruled that there was no need for another tribunal, saying that, while her conduct was “unwise” it was “disproportionate” to fire her – and that it was “unlawfully discriminatory” to have sent the case back.
Lord Justice Underhill, sitting with Lord Justice Bean and Lady Justice Falk, said: “The claimant’s beliefs that gender is binary and that same-sex marriage cannot be equated with marriage between a man and a woman are protected by the Equality Act.
He added: “Neither the language of the posts nor the risk of reputational damage were capable of justifying the claimant’s dismissal in circumstances where she had not said anything of the kind at work or displayed any discriminatory attitudes in her treatment of pupils.”
Christians who feel they too have been victimised at work due to their beliefs gathered outside the Court of Appeal to celebrate with Higgs and cheered at the result.
Andrea Williams, chief executive of the Christian Legal Centre, hailed it as a groundbreaking judgment. She said: “Free speech and religious liberty are not yet extinguished from the English law. The outcome of Kristie’s case sets an important legal precedent for many years to come.
“The Court of Appeal has confirmed, loud and clear, that ideological censorship at the workplace is illegal, and any employer who tramples upon their employees’ right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion breaks the law of the land.
“This is a great victory for Kristie, who lost her job and livelihood for doing no more than expressing her dismay at the nonsensical ideas of LBGT adult/child sex being taught to her child at a Church of England primary school.”
Today, Higgs works at a garden centre. She’s a well-liked member of staff who enjoys her work. Nevertheless she misses her old job.
“My younger son attends Farmor’s School and I must admit I sometimes feel wistful. There’s something very uplifting and inspiring about guiding young people through their school years and watching them flourish.”
Right now her priority is to reconnect with her life and family. Astonishingly she bears no ill will towards any of the individuals involved; not even the parent whose email started this stressful chain of events.
“I don’t harbour negative feelings towards anyone,” she says simply, crediting her faith for giving her strength through the process. “I just want things to get back to normal.”
Higgs doesn’t post on Facebook any more. She’s as far from a keyboard warrior as anyone can be. But the deeply troubling truth is this; if she can fall victim to the culture wars just for voicing an opinion online, it could happen to any of us.
