A key decision has been made on a development that will play a large part in the regeneration of a Lincolnshire town. Boston Borough Council has confirmed plans to redevelop Boston have been approved.
The Crown House project forms a significant part of the Rosegarth Square transformation scheme, a £14.8 million regeneration scheme aiming to revitalise the area between the River Witham and the town’s bus station. With planning permission and demolition notices in place, the council can now continue the next steps of the project. The Crown House development will create a new mixed-use building that has retail units on the ground floor and apartments on the two storeys above. The area around the building will also be improved with new artwork, outside social spaces, and a new entrance/drop-off area for the Len Medlock Centre.
