The way people bandy around the term Communist is ridiculous and a diversion from the real perpetrators, Capitalists.
Did these so called “communists” close down the stock market or pass increased graduated income taxes? Did they seize and distribute private property? Did they end inheritance rights? Did they nationalize private corporations?
No.
I suggest that Henry takes five minutes and reread the ten planks of the Communist Manifesto. He will find that many communist policies have been passed decades ago, such as public schools and the FCC regulation of communications, as well as improving life for rural people by building roads and getting people to move out there; but there still some planks that have not been implemented in full yet.
Blaming communists for the failed policies and management of Capitalists is an old trick to make working people embrace their plutocrat overlords and rigged low wages and shift the blame to fringe groups that have no money or power whatsoever.
Remember, it’s the Capitalists that outsourced jobs overseas. It’s the Capitalists that import the hordes of third world migrants to depress wages.
