Channel migrant crossings have “skyrocketed” since the General Election, Keir Starmer has been warned.
The Tories have accused Labour of insulting “the British people” after the number of arrivals increased by 29%, compared to last year.
The Conservatives said 23,242 people arrived on small boats between July 5 and December 31.
This is compared to 18,004 over the same period last year.

Turkey to the West would really like to end the Armenian Problem once and for all- a project started 1895-1923 with the wholesale extermination of Armenians, deportation and reduction of historic Christian Armenia to a rump. Turkey still refuses to recognize the Armenian Genocide as does Britain and a number of other rules based EU countries and has severe penalties for those who question the Turkish narrative. Yes both Turkey & Israel want to expand but they are not acually going to confront each other, no point in that. If I were living in Armenia now I’d be very afraid that the aggressive neighbours on both sides want to literally wipe it off the map given a pretext.
