The Islamic rebel terrorists seeking to overthrow Bashar al-Assad in Syria went on Israeli TV on Sunday to profess their “love” for the Jewish state and credit Israel’s attacks on Syria and Hezbollah for their shock advance.
“Nobody knows if Iran and the [Syrian] regime would have been weakened without the recent Israeli attacks in Syria, which have allowed us to return and free the lands and the country,” a man described as an opposition activist from the Aleppo area told Israel’s Kan public broadcaster in comments aired Sunday. Another rebel figure from the Idlib area who spoke to the network thanked Jerusalem and said the opposition was “very satisfied” with Israel’s actions against Hezbollah and other Iran-backed players. […]
“They accuse us of cooperating with you because we were quite happy when you attacked Hezbollah, really happy, and we’re glad that you won,” the source said.
Both said the rebels had no issue with Israel. “We love Israel and we were never its enemies,” the man from the Idlib area said. “[Israel] isn’t hostile to those who are not hostile toward it. We don’t hate you, we love you very much.”
Kan did not provide other information on the identity of the rebels or what groups they hailed from. The new insurgency has been led by jihadist fighters from Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, an offshoot of the al-Qaeda terror organization previously known as Jabhat al-Nusra, or the Nusra Front.
But the comments appeared to jibe with those of a man identified as a rebel commander who told Israel’s Channel 12 news in remarks also aired Sunday that the timing of the offensive in Syria had not been coincidental.
“We looked at the [ceasefire] agreement with Hezbollah and understood that this is the time to liberate our lands,” said the source. “This operation was critical. We will not let Hezbollah fight in our areas and we will not let the Iranians take root there.”
The rebel commander added that the goal was to topple the Assad regime and set up a government that has good relations with all its neighbors, including Israel.
“It will be a country based on equality and justice for all Syrian citizens without exception, where there will be peace and security with the entire region, including with Israel,” he tells Channel 12.
The al-Qaeda terrorists, in their own words, are working together with Israel to overthrow Assad and drive Iran and Hezbollah out of Syria so Israel can have “peace and security.”
Surely Israel and the US don’t think that after these shaved baboons steal Syria they’re just going to hand it over to them when they can have their own Islamist totalitarian state? I would think the western infidels will have to fight them to take it from them, because the baboons know they couldn’t do that last time.
It’s comparable to Russia beating Ukraine then giving them Ukraine.

Anyone who professes “love” for the toxic demonic entity of Israel deserves to be thrown into an asylum for the criminally insane or chased through the streets and slaughtered. And yeah, sure, we’re supposed to believe that frothingly rabid backwards muzzy lunatics are big fans of the Jew sewer.
And as Mark pointed out in his comment above, they look rather fresh and clean for allegedly engaging in urban combat…most of those assholes’ pants still have the store tags on them…
Talk about “Shock”! Many analysts were and still are bamboozled by how quickly in just a few days geopolitics in Syria completely changed. Still no one has a clear answer, at least as far as I see! But within Iranian media space I came across arguments and facts that helped me better see the situation:
First let us briefly describe each of the known Axis of Resistance members:
1- Hezbollah
These guys are 100% true to the cause, and after Iran the most senior and experienced of the Resistance forces, however they are still not a country. They simply run southern Lebanon and have to live with the nasty Lebanese political anarchy. Iran will do everything to help them.
2- AnsarAllah (Houties)
These guys are also 100% true to the cause, the main difference is that they are controlling a good part of Yemen so they are a complete country/state and this gives them a huge advantage and significant resources.
3- Hashd Al Sha’bi (Iraqi Shia Militias)
These guys are 70% true to the cause however they do not control the infested Iraqi government. This means they are limited, they are mostly Shia but there Sunni and Christians Iraqis among them too. Iraqi government is a failed system by design, US with its biggest Embassy/Base in the world there is calling a lot of shots there, including supply and flow of money/cash!
4- Al Qassam / Hamas (Gaza)
They are Sunnis, these guys are today 80% true to the cause; Hamas has gone through transformations, but if you consider words of their latest martyr leader Yahya Sinwar, it is clear that they love Prophet Mohammad’s bloodline and have a special love for Ali ع, this brings them very close to the Shia, in fact Sinwar has officially thanked Iran for the invaluable and instrumental help; he has also said that they have to make a new Karbala Sacrifice of Palestine so the rest of the Muslim world would wake up! Still some of them expected a quicker solution and see Iran as delaying too much and develop doubts, yet they know for sure that no one else has ever helped them and they remember that despite their leaders’ temporary distancing from Iran during the Arab Spring, Iran remained true to their cause.
5- Syria (SAA)
These guys were 50% true to the cause. Less than ~2% of Syrians are Shia, most are Sunnis including Kurds, there are Alawis, Druze and Christians. Under Assad Syria had been the channel to support Gaza and Hezbollah, making Iran reach the Mediterranean sea; Hezbollah, Iran and the Shia volunteer forces (mainly from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq) helped Assad keep Syria together. Assad’s father helped Iran greatly during Saddam’s war with Iran and Iran had to return the favor. His father asked Assad to remain with Iran no matter what! US/Zion assassinated Assad’s brother who was a proper military man with leadership skills, still nobody believed Assad the eye-doctor educated abroad has the stuff to rule Syria!
With that out of the way, you can see that the weakest links within Axis of Resistance are Syria and Iraq. How is that exactly!?
For long Iran had plans to help Assad retake Golan Heights with actual drawn up plans and forces ready in place but Assad did not approve. After Persian Gulf Arab states came to realize that US plans in removing Assad was not working, they began normalizing ties with Syria, many in the Arab world ridiculed Saudi, UAE and Qatar for their failure in toppling Assad but they shook hands again with Assad! Almost everyone who wished end of Assad would himself end and Assad would outlive them no matter where from brotherhood Morsi in Egypt to US heavy weight politicians! This gradually opened Assad to a world of possibilities but he was not easy to be fooled, despite rejecting lucrative deals in exchange for just cutting ties with Iran, gradually he became more focused on economic deals with Persian Gulf Arab States, with Iraq and with Turkey the chief back-stabber! In the early days Assad and his wife used to have fun with Erdogan and his wife! For him Golan heights was a hard adventure and he wanted to just live a normal life! Slowly but surely Assad got used to the security of his country and took it for granted. Assad was supposed to do some reforms, improve relations with Kurds, but did not change at all during the years. Assad somehow naturally developed a knack to seek council more from Russia! A similar situation with Iraq, they are going ahead with Basra-Turkey pipeline which is literally bypassing Iran; Iraq gives priority to trade with others and play along with US. They were supposed to remove US embassy but Iraqi government prevented HashdAlShabi to do this. Meanwhile despite all the efforts and sacrifices of Iran, the Mass Media of Arabs, Turks, Zionist, Americans relentlessly damaged Iran! Syrian people really think Iran is there uninvitedly and as an obstacle to Syria’s “Arab Spring” pure revolution! That Iran is the cause of their problems, they prefer Turkey! So the situation became unbearable for Iran
on one hand these ungrateful so called friends not only were/are useless but they were/are becoming more and more a liability and on the other Iran’s enemies have been doing everything they can to harm Iran, even worst a crappy unskilled and delusional Pezeshkian government who believe in flowers and peace came to power in Iran after the very untimely and questionable demise of president Raisi in a helicopter crash. It was time for a Shock! In the form of a power vacuum! While Iran and Russia have been paying for the security in Syria, no one else understood the importance of this geopolitical order. I mean talk about China just waiting in the back at no cost! There are ~14 K Chinese Uyghur Muslims in Syria yet China does not pay anything, the BRICS countries need to understand that security of the world in line with goals of the Multi-Polar world are only achievable if they pay their share! Exactly like how US does it with European countries or vassal middle eastern countries, indeed they have to pay! Did you see how Trump shook macrons’ hand?! Macron thinks he can create an independent Europe! : ) UK and Germany are all in with US and this won’t happen. Similarly All of these regional and extra-regional countries that have an interest in security of Syria need to realize that fall of Syria is first and foremost a threat to them and then a threat to Iran! Iran also needs to make sure China starts to degrade US more actively and bears the cost too militarily.
US and Zion had multiple plans to start a Sunni-Shia war, each time Iran dodged! The plan was to send in ISIS now dressed as HTS to invade Syria and later push Turkey, Jordan to face Shia Resistance Axis and start a Sunni-Shia war that would deplete Iran and benefit US/Zion, Qatar and Arab oil (US literally owns oil-wells in Syria) would pay for it. They also played mind tricks on Bashar Assad, it is a hybrid war! They assassinated a close relative of Assad and with so many other assassinations, Assad knew his time is up if he does not distance himself from Iran or find some solution; Iran asked Assad to officially request Iran for direct help but he did not, instead he flew to Russia! US and Zion were absolutely certain Iran would not give up Syria for free, there was no sign of it! But resistance forces pulled back and upon invasion, quickly SAA forces retreated, escaped and abandoned position. As if Syrian Arab Army was nothing without Shia resistance forces and Iranian advisors. It is possible that Russia and Iran and Turkey reached a deal for Syria beforehand, but I think they didn’t expect Iran’s sudden creation of power vacuum. Regardless Assad is either in Russia or his plane was shot down and is dead. We have to wait for more developments.
But despite what US and Zion think, Iran by acting unexpectedly has managed to render most enemy calculation redundant. This means a sea of new possibilities exists and Turkey now has to invest more in Syria and HTS might end up more powerful now that they have taken Syria without a fight, so they may go for the oil wells under control of Kurds and US, they might get into rivalry with Turkey which could fall into internal chaos as well. this opens a new imagination chapter in the book of HTS leader who may see new possibilities. It opens up new strategic possibilities for Iran. It appears now that most analysts are thinking Iran has lost and has been weakened, but you have to understand HTS forces advanced on Syrian cities in a straight line on pickup trucks! They could have been decimated had Iran really wanted to stop them but then Turkey would be dragged in and this would be a Sunni-Shia war, still many Sunni people around the world love to see some powerful Sunni leader capable of helping Palestine!
In a way just as US left Afghanistan with all the weapons, Iran left Syria with all the weapons for easy taking! Russia was either in this with Iran or partially aware of the plan. The truth is Russia had mainly air power in Syria and the ground was key to keep Assad in power.

They wanted Iran to be engaged in Syria and then launch their Azerbaijan and other projects. But now Iran is safely watching from a good distance and Azerbaijan won’t dare attack Iran like this. Correction, Turkey and Azerbaijan wanted to go for Armenia and then attack Iran while Iran was supposed to be engaged in Syria, not anymore, now Erdogan is seen as a useless whore that US and Zion used and didn’t pay for his service! Zion wants to divide any larger country and the first one in sight is now Turkey! Once they deplete one another good enough, Iran rolls back into Syria and towards Zion.
