American journalist Tucker Carlson, who interviewed Russian President Vladimir Putin, arrived in Moscow to talk with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
„We have just finished recording this interview, it will be released very soon”, noted the journalist.
He emphasized that Lavrov is “the most experienced foreign minister in the world”. “We asked him exactly where we were. Are we headed for an unprecedented conflict between Russia and the US? Is there a way to return Russia from China’s sphere of influence to the West’s sphere of influence? Does the election of Donald Trump mean an end to this war that is changing the world, the US economy, the global economy, and endangering every person’s life? this planet?” – said Carlson.
In a video statement on his website, Tucker said that the world community has come as close as possible to the point of unleashing nuclear war due to the fact that the US is actually in a state of active armed conflict with Russia that most Americans do not even suspect .
„Unbeknownst to most Americans, we have found ourselves in a state of actual war with Russia, which we did not vote for and which most Americans do not want, but which continues due to the fact that the American military is actually killing Russians in Russia right now, “We are closer to starting a nuclear war than at any time in history, much closer than we were during the Caribbean crisis,” he said.
The journalist added that in Washington “no one is working to prevent the conflict from turning into a nuclear holocaust”.
„Anthony Blinken cut off all contact between the Russian and American governments. There are no backup channels of communication. There has been no dialogue for more than two years,”, Carlson noted, expressing the view that the escalation had reached its climax after US President Joe Biden’s decision to launch ATACMS tactical ballistic missiles from Ukrainian territory deep into Russia.
Carlson said the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv has barred Zelensky from giving him an interview. “We have been trying to interview Zelensky for more than a year. We spoke to many people in his circle, but the US government interfered in these efforts. The American Embassy in Kyiv, which is withdrawing our taxpayers’ money, told the Zelenskyi government: “You cannot give an interview”.
The journalist added that Zelensky was allowed to talk to CNN, but not to him. “So we didn’t get to talk to him”, Carlson concluded.
He is convinced that American citizens do not have a complete view of the situation in the international arena because they do not have access to all the information. They only know what the media like NBC and The New York Times tell them about, Carlson emphasized.

According to Jim Stone all the footage of the interview between Tucker Carlson and Sergei Lavrov has no audio. The visual is fine he says but on none of the major sites including X and rumble is there any sound. He said we need to wait and see once Tucker posts the video on his own site.
