Anybody still underestimating Iran’s conventional military power in 2024, is likely suffering from brain damage or his heart simply can’t accept this due to either utter disbelief or utter jealousy!
Iran has developed not 1 but actually 3 hypersonic missiles namely: FATTAH 1, FATTAH 2 and Khaybar.
FATTAH (فتاح) 1 and 2 are different in design; first one is actually much faster with a higher curved trajectory while the second one is like those gliders that also Russia and China have and is in a way a hypersonic cruise missile that mostly moves parallel to the ground but its warhead does go out of atmosphere in the end. Then there is the Khaybar (خیبر) which is not to be mistaken with KhaybarShekan (خیبرشکن) or Khaybar-Buster, this missile is a unique liquid fuel missile and is based on Khorramshahr 4 platform.
FATTAH 2 has a large liquid fuel tank in the back and looks like a water boiler now many naysayers and ill-wishers and sick expat or dual national westernized Iranian liberals make fun of it and dismiss it as fake boilers! But one should not be retard like them! : )
Main fuel for Kheibar is liquid and of Hypergolic type which is poisonous, however because it can be stored in room temperature it reduces preparation time compared to other liquid-fuels, it is mostly suitable for missile-silos. This missile also has solid-fuel in its warhead for guidance when outside atmosphere. Hypergolic fuel needs an oxidizer which ignites when it comes to contact with; this means there are two tanks for each part of the fuel.
The Khaybar missile has 3 engines, one powerful thruster and two vernier thrusters to do the thrust-vectoring so it has no fins/wings which in turn combined with special coating significantly reduces radar cross-section. The engine compartment has been designed to be inside the fuel tank to reduce length of the missile to 13 meters which again makes them suitable for missile silos. When the warhead exits atmosphere its speed is Mach 16 (~5.48 km/s or ~19756 km/h) and in terminal phase when the warhead hits the target, due to air friction its speed is reduced to Mach 8 (~2.7 km/s). The exoatmospheric guidance system of Kheibar has its own solid-fuel and on itself has 9 engines, 8 small ones for all sorts of directional movements of which 4 are for rotational and another 4 for thrust correction, together provide complete 3D movement of the warhead; there is also a larger thruster for the final push. The warhead is 1.5 tonne and it is claimed that 1 tonne can be ordnance and there are various creative warhead designs for it such as heavy, quad, clustered, electronic warfare module, winged bomblets, etc…
While Khaybr is launched vertically, FATTAH is launched diagonally. FATTAH missiles are all solid fuel on the other hand and have smaller and lighter payloads but they are very nimble and designed to take out air-defense equipment and radars. The carbon-carbon material and advanced metallurgy needed to make special steel and the design of fins and the tip of the warhead for heat resistance is another story, suffice to say with its mach ~14 speed and much faster terminal phase speed it appears like a very fast shooting star!
Regarding guidance of the Iranian missiles:
As you remember Zion was messing with GPS but it had no effect, because firstly those hypersonic ballistic warheads are already very hot and the air around becomes plasma so no external communication is possible and secondly Iran does not have very powerful and numerous satellites. Iran’s missiles and drones use a very advanced Inertial Guidance system that can handle topographic data, combined with Fiber-Optic-Gyroscopes(FOG) in their multi-axis Inertial Navigation System. FOGs are essentially made of an optical string in a loop, polarized light pass through them and based on an effect called “Sagnac interference” angular position and rotation rate can be measured very accurately; these are cheap to make and have no moving parts which means they are resistant to vibration and pressure perfect for missiles and drones, however they have to be extremely well calibrated for the individual unit which is apparently not easy. This means no Hollywood jamming or electronic warfare works against these missiles or drones like Shahed-136. The entire guidance is virtual and onboard.
FATTAH missiles arrive first and then heavy hitters arrive with no hinderance and then drones in numbers that US, NATO and Zion can’t even dream of! The most amazing part is the economic dimension of it, US/NATO/Zion have extremely inefficient and expensive weapons that hard to replenish. Even Pompeo admitted that Iran has so many missiles it can launch 2500 more attacks similar to operation True Promise 2, this is while US navy in defense of Zion launched 12 air defense missiles that likely failed and it takes a year to make just 12 more!
The variety and quantity of Iran’s missiles, even its 3 unique hypersonic missiles prove that these technologies are locally developed. Besides it is Iran that has set two world records, the largest ballistic missile attack in history and the largest drone attack in history!

Maybe some S400s too but Iran has its own decent air-defense and radars, Iran can also launch interceptor Karrar drones with a single Majid air-to-air missile.
