Perhaps Netanyahu isn’t just after the US getting involved to defend Israel, but because Biden is cooling on helping Israel as is Harris, maybe he wants war to end the chances of a Democrat victory in November and have Trump back in who’s more keen to take on Iran. It’s risky because Israel could fall before then.

Israel is defending itself? No, no. Israel defends itself only when it murders hundreds of thousands of unarmed Palestinian and Lebanese. It could not defend itself even against the very restrained Iranian attack it came under recently. It is totally dependent on the US even for its defence! And BTW: Why is it that we are now not hearing about Dimona, nor about Israel the nuclear power, eh? It is not a nuclear power, you mean? Chuckle.
