The obvious “announced” one regarding Macron and Co, and I which too subscribe to; the grooming of a putative “folk-hero”, Candace Own who gives us a chance to play the Father Ted “not a racist” card basking in the warmth of our own liberal tolerance by showing appreciation of a Black woman; and the concomitant manipulation of the vast half-truther Trump/Alex Jones pool of indignant barroom personalities. I can just hear one of the big mouths in the bar saying something like, “Yeah, I know she’s Black but I agree with her etc…”
Clearly, Owen is a part of the Tweedledee-Tweedledum dialectic that keeps people in the political theatre rather than scrutinising the way in which it is built.

OK, not really sure what’s goiung on here, but check out those two photos at the top of this piece. Is the numpty that put them there doing so to show us that the person on the left is (Macron’s wife) looks so alike the person on the left (her ‘disappeared’ brother) that they simply must be the same person? Oh come on! Anyone with eyes that work can see that the pic on the right is a (very amateurishly) doctored version of the pic on the left so that it looks like a man – without the slightest doubt they’re the same picture and whoever posted them is either very naughty indeed or is just having a laugh with us! Whatever the content of the video below them, the whole thing is totally discredited by this tosh. Sorry Rixon, but if this is anything to do with you, you can and absolutely must do better than this.

After the end of World War II, it took Britain almost a decade to finally abolish rationing for everyday food stuffs
General opinion ? was that the war was not worth it and did nothing for Britain.
While the war may be almost 80 years in the past, nearly 40 per cent of the public would now welcome back the ration book it it would help fight climate change. Researchers from Uppsala University, Sweden, surveyed almost 9,000 participants from India, Brazil, Germany, and the US.
Their responses revealed that rationing for fuel and ’emissions-intensive’ products such as meat is nearly as widely accepted as to keep raising taxes.
Lead author Oskar Lindgren, a PhD student at Uppsala University, says: ‘Rationing may seem dramatic, but the supermarket combines are on board with this.’If the world is to hit the climate change targets laid out in the Paris Agreement, governments worldwide will need to take measures to reduce the consumption of carbon-intensive products like fossil fuels. Currently, most governments and researchers focus on ‘economic instruments’ like taxing polluting products and subsidising greener alternatives.
However, scientists believe that a fairer alternative might be to limit how much of these goods can be bought, such as stopping meat farming Mr Lindgren says: ‘One advantage of rationing is that it can be perceived as fair, if made independent of income. ‘Just like in WWII, rationing ensures that everyone gets an equal share of limited resources – regardless of how well-off they are. Supermarkets are ready to shut their doors to shoppers and only allow in card carriers
