Two beeps and a pause was the only warning Yusuf got. He turned around to face the noise, thinking it was one of his medical instruments, but instead was met with an explosion, throwing shrapnel into his leg. His patient fared much worse.
“The patient lost consciousness; he started bleeding. His face, neck and lips were burned. He had knife-like cuts, as if he was hit by a rocket,” Yusuf, a doctor from Beirut speaking under a pseudonym, said while waiting for an injured friend outside a Beirut hospital. He rolled up his trouser leg to show a small wound, the remnants of his patient’s exploded pager.
The complex operation – probably carried out by Israeli intelligence – on Tuesday that targeted the pagers used by members of Hezbollah left at least 2,800 injured and 12 dead, including two children and a healthcare worker. A further round of explosions on Wednesday, apparently targeting the group’s walkie-talkie radios, injured dozens more.
The scale of the attack was “far greater” than that of the Beirut port blast some four years earlier, the largest non-nuclear explosion in human history, which left more than 7,000 injured, Lebanon’s health minister, Firas Abiad, said on Wednesday.
The wide-ranging attack extended all the way to Syria, where at least four Hezbollah members were injured by pager explosions in al-Qalamoun, Damascus and Seida Zeinab, according to Fadel Abdulghani, the founder of the Syrian Network for Human Rights.
News of the attack at first trickled in, starting with information regarding a security incident in Beirut, then the southern city of Tyre, and the Bekaa valley. Soon it was all over the news, with pictures of people with mangled limbs and bloodied faces emerging from all over the country. The sound of ambulance sirens started and would continue non-stop, deep into the night.
Abiad issued a call for all health workers to go to their stations and Lebanon’s Internal Security Forces asked citizens to stay off the streets so that ambulances could reach hospitals.
“I didn’t understand what was happening; the first thing I thought was that it was a terrorist attack,” said Ali, a 22-year-old trader from the Burj al-Barajneh Palestinian refugee camp, interviewed while waiting outside a Beirut hospital for an injured friend. “People started throwing their phones on the ground out of fear; they thought they would explode.”
Ali was in a popular market in Burj al-Barajneh when the explosions started. Though he did not hear them, their aftermath became quickly apparent.
“I saw a man trying to hold his face together; it had completely split. His eyes had popped out of his skull and blood was pouring out,” Ali said.
Hours after the explosions, the wounded were still being transported to hospitals. At Rizk hospital in Beirut, dozens of families waiting outside the emergency room, eager for any news of their family and friends inside. People crowded the doors of arriving ambulances, peering into windows to see if any loved ones were inside.
A woman collapsed to the ground, wailing after first responders had no information on the whereabouts of her family member. Ya Ali!” she cried, a religious exhortation, as men tried to soothe her.
“You see that one? That one came all the way from Abbasiyeh,” Ali said, pointing to an arriving ambulance that had traveled more than two hours to find a hospital with available beds.
Doctors described “apocalyptic” scenes inside emergency rooms, where young men, women and children alike poured in non-stop.
“I was in my house when I heard what happened, so I came back [to the hospital]. People were crying, shouting ‘I can’t see!’” an anaesthesiologist who worked at the Beirut Hôtel-Dieu de France hospital said on Wednesday morning under the condition of anonymity, as they were not authorised to speak to the press.
The doctor said that the injuries were unlike anything they had seen before, mainly wounded eyes and hands, a result of patients looking at their pagers before they exploded.
“Never do you have eye emergencies at this frequency. It’s transforming 2,000 people into disabled [people] at the same time,” another doctor at the same hospital said.
Human Rights Watch (HRW) said on Wednesday that the attack could be a violation of international humanitarian law through its use of pagers as “booby traps” and that it put civilians at risk.
“The use of an explosive device whose exact location could not be reliably known would be unlawfully indiscriminate … and as a result would strike military targets and civilians without distinction,” Lama Fakih, the Middle East and north Africa director at HRW, said.
As families waited outside the hospital, individual volunteers emerged to distribute water bottles and Manakeesh, a Lebanese flat bread. A line of people formed outside the hospital as people came to donate blood.
“I’m horrified by the level of sophisticated evil. It’s completely crazy,” said Maliha Raydan, a 50-year-old mother of two, while distributing supplies outside Rizk hospital. “We were wondering what we could do, so we thought it would be a good thing to do.”
The apparently limitless suspected reach of Israeli intelligence had instilled anxiety in Raydan and others, some of whom refused to speak to the press for fear it would make them a future target for Israel.
“By doing this today, they can get to anyone. They can get to us in our bedrooms. They breach all laws of war and humanity. And no one is stopping them,” Raydan said.
For others, fear was pushed aside by a deep anger – mainly at the indiscriminate nature of the attack.
“I am a medical worker, but the grudge I have now … I will insist on teaching it to my great-great-grandson. I was neutral, but now I’m going to take a side,” Yusuf said, stressing however that his resistance would be non-violent.

Pagers made in downtown Budapest, I doubt it. It’s a residential looking building in a residential neighborhood with lots of companies associated with it. BAC being one of many. Locals say no activity going on there for weeks until this happened. I wonder who is head of purchasing for Hezbollah?
CEO of Gold Apollo doesn’t know much about these pagers sold to Lebanon. His company didn’t make them and I doubt he knows where BAC got the parts to make them. If truth be told, made to look like Gold Apollo pagers, but were not.

ABC News has reached out to BAC Consulting — the Hungary-based company contracted to produce the pagers on behalf of Gold Apollo in Taiwan — but neither company has responded to our repeated requests.
The pagers were never in Hungary and the company was “a trading intermediary, with no manufacturing or operational site in Hungary,” a spokesperson for the Hungarian government told ABC News on Wednesday.
In a speech Thursday, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah said the group’s top leadership had old pagers, not the new ones used in the attack, which were reportedly shipped in the last six months. The group has begun a full investigation into the explosions.

There appear to be two types of these terror attacks in Lebanon:
1- It seems they have drones and/or satellites that can direct some kind of beam that heats-up certain batteries and explodes them even in older and different devices.
2- Then there is the Pager Attack in which explosives were placed in the devices at manufacturing. This idea that you can hack a system and cause its battery to heat up and not just burn but explode is not likely the actual cause.
The interesting question is:
Why is it that Zion can’t time their “pager attack” with their land invasion? This was apparently planned well in advance with the help of all the vassal nations and Zionist globalists and goy middlemen, as some say could have been 15 years of planning and now they have burned this card achieving less they they could. They could simply initiate their land incursion into Lebanon and do the pager terror attack at the same time for maximum Shock & Awe leverage, but that’s not the case.
Here are the possibilities for the pager attack not being timed with a land invasion:
1- Fear of immanent discovery.
2- Disagreement within Zion, perhaps between government, military and the branches of intelligence.
3- Buying time, spending the last of Zion trickery until the US elections are over.
4- Trying to escalate enough until US is forced to enter a greater war in a bad time to shield Zion.
In my opinion 1 and 3 are unlikely, the most likely possible cases are 2 and 4.
Now some Zion officials said that this Pager Attack is just one of the many cool things they have in their evil box that they have not used yet! This is highly unlikely that they have any unknown trick with military/intelligence significance left, sure they might have some weird magical stuff they can pull off that would bamboozle people but that’s about it. As for Djinns they have already been using them or been used by them anyway. Their known strategic cards that they can play are: 1- Initiate a conflicts between artificial state of Baku (Azerbaijan) and Armenia over the Zangezure corridor affecting Iran’s north-west borders. 2- Create unrest in central Asia with the help of Taliban. 3- Drag Turkey, Jordan and even Egypt into a fake war that in essence would shield Zion and further devastate Syria.
Those who think evil leadership in US and Zion or the globalists do not have disagreements within themselves are certainly mistaken. Why Iran is not delivering its True Promise v2 yet?

You must understand Iran has been fighting asymmetrically and the best offense is to attack the strategy of the enemy. Generally speaking Iran due to its geographic depth and history has patience in strategic level but tactically is very agile, in contrast Zion has a lot of nukes and little geographic depth so they are naturally impatient and can swap strategy on the fly to try and find a solution and prefer fast overwhelming responses to nip the threat in the bud so to speak, they are however extremely slow tactically despite having the technological edge too. To understand why Iran and the Resistance Axis has the upper hand in tactical level but Zion and the west in general are such a turtle in contrast again we need to understand Deterrence Doctrine:
1- Balance of terror (To be able to scare your enemy)
2- Flexible response (To have many response options against an enemy action and be able to surprise)
3- Big Retaliation/pay back (To be able to respond to an enemy action with a bigger counter-action and maintaining secondary strike capability)
4- Total war (Ability to manage escalation effectively and being able to control the situation up to total annihilation or total war)
Note that escalation management is primarily to reduce cost of winning.
So all Resistance Axis groups maintain “secondary-strike” capability with massive impregnable underground bases and tunnels, from tiny Gaza to Yemen to Lebanon to Iran, all have underground bases. Flexible Response at the height of it is asymmetric. Arguably Iran is the most powerful country in Flexible Response. The Zionist enemy often calls this “a ring of fire” and a multi-front war, almost every time US/Zion/NATO have tried to harm Iran at tactical level, Iran has proved much stronger. Suddenly a new group of local people that until yesterday no one knew about could name themselves and claim responsibility for attacks on a US base out of the blue!
When Iran sent those tankers to Venezuela and saved them in the US backyard, US could not do anything because of fear of Iran’s Flexible Response.
This has frustrated Zion and US and so they are trying to fight Iran asymmetrically too but they are really backwards in this and they are not built for it, at least decades behind Iran. US/NATO/Zion too have tried to fund groups in regional countries, but they always have to bring in new people. Time is certainly not on their side in anyway. The Resistance Axis is already impoverished and have been under sanctions, conflict or war, so really they don’t budge. They bomb Yemen and it doesn’t work, a few more martyrs here and there and the long war continues! Now for a change Zion is under embargo and sever economic pressure. They have to cope with internal unrest, poverty, pain and misery too and they are not used to it!

In a way Iran appears to be in the retreat now with the new government but just as before it is a temporary slumber as the resistance Axis is working tirelessly. The masterful leadership of Khamenai is clear for all to see! Today it is not Iran that is experiencing internal unrest but Zion, who knows maybe this presidential election US could also lead to major unrest inside US.
