  4.  » UK Riots: Exposing the Media’s False Narrative

News Commentary – Aug 9, 2024

As one the controlled corporate media in the UK seems to be reading from the same sheet. The rioters are either:

“Right-wingers”

“Racist thugs”

“White nationalists”

It’s now undeniable that the UK police are now being used to enforce political dictates. Investigating crimes like theft, burglary, assault and the possession of drugs is now a secondary issue.

That’s why more than 90 percent of crimes committed in the UK last year went unsolved.

Instead, UK police resources are now focused on things like ensuring that we use the right pronouns to address those we communicate with insist we use.

Under Prime Minister Keir Starmer the police are also focusing on identifying and convicting the “Right-wingers”, “Racists” and “White Nationalists” who participated in the recent protests that swept the country.

Courts have already handed out stiff sentences for those who took part. Including one man who was jailed for three-years for punching a police officer in the face.

Police have warned those that took part in the protests that we will find you.

To this end Police in Greater Manchester and Merseyside have released new images of people wanted in connection with the disorder of the last week. And that’s where things get interesting because among the photos released is one that undermines the whole official narrative that those who participated were “racist thugs”, “white nationalists” etc.

Police say the images released represent “a turning point in the unrest”. Indeed, that maybe so but not in the way they want, because among the wanted photos released is one that suggests that the protests may have been a genuine outburst of communal anger.

Are the Powers that Be so blind that they cannot see that they’ve just shot themselves in the foot with this photo release? Can’t they see that protester in the photo is not a “White extremist”?

Or will the mainstream media just gloss over this glaring inconsistency, as Sky News has done?

Have we learned nothing since the 2003 invasion of Iraq? Prior to the Anglo-American led invasion the media and the western governments were full of reports and speculation about Saddam’s Weapons of Mass Destruction. Despite widespread Western public opposition to military action this helped pave the way for the actual invasion.

Only later was it discovered that Saddam didn’t have WMD or a WMD program.

We would suggest that the media is preforming a similar function now. As the Starmer government seeks to diffuse public anger by smearing protesters as “right wing racists”. In this it being aided by a complicit mass media, just as it was once with reports about Saddam’s WMD.
