Surveys over the years have found that concern about uncontrolled immigration has been uppermost in the minds of many British voters. Successive governments have ignored or brushed aside the issue.
However, despite being characterized by the mainstream media as “right-wingers”, many of those involved in the recent protests in the UK would dispute that description.
They would argue that they are simply concerned citizens who have been ignored for too long by too many governments.
The new Labour government has just announced that it will cut winter fuel payments to pensioners to help them pay for winter fuel. According to the Treasury this will help the government save £1.5 billion per year.
Meanwhile, in contrast, the previous Conservative government was spending £5.4 billion per year to house illegal migrants.
You don’t have to be an extreme “right-winger” to see the obvious discrepancy in priorities here.
Young men, many without family ties, or skills or job prospects are attracted to Britain by the lure of free handouts. While native pensioners, many of whom fought for Britain in WWII, are left to face a cold winter without any assistance.
Such obvious discrepancy in priorities gives credence to claims that successive UK governments are actually more interested in population replacement than the well being of their citizens. The idea being that newly arrived migrants will more readily accept lower wages and fewer political rights than native Britons.
For the ruling elite the appeal is obvious. A large underclass with lower political aspirations provides them with a cheaper workforce that can be more easily managed.
All the elite have to do to achieve this is to get their bought and paid for politicians and media underlings to argue that anyone who opposes this is a “right-winger” or a “racist”. Ed.

Britain’s top law enforcement official ripped out a reporter’s microphone after being asked a question about double standards in policing the immigration-related riots across the UK.
Sir Mark Rowley of the Metropolitan Police Service had just left a government meeting in Westminster about handling the unrest when journalists approached him on Monday.
“Are we going to end two-tier policing sir?” a Sky News reporter asked. Rowley responded by destroying his recording equipment and continuing to walk to his car. He took no questions from the press.
Sky News crime correspondent Martin Brunt described Rowley’s actions as a “petulant, childish even” response to a “perfectly legitimate” question.
“It was a storm in a teacup, but perception is everything,” Brunt said, adding that Rowley’s explanation that he had been in a hurry was “mitigation, not a defense.”
Though the Sky reporter could have pressed charges for assault, criminal damage, or misconduct in public office, he reportedly chose to give Rowley a pass.

Dozens of British towns and cities have seen protests and riots since last Monday, when a British teenager of Rwandan descent killed three children and injured ten others in a mass stabbing in Southport, near Liverpool. While the initial outrage was sparked by a rumor misidentifying the perpetrator as Muslim, demonstrations have since grown into a wider backlash against mass immigration, Islam, and the perception that UK authorities are more concerned with suppressing domestic dissent than tackling immigrant crime.

Recognising Common Ground
Adam believes that most people attending these protests are driven by anger and frustration—whether it’s the cost of living, issues with the NHS, or fears stoked by stories of “Migrants taking over.” He emphasises the need to recognise our shared humanity: “We all share these issues which people are raising, and the more we can communicate with each other, the better.”
Despite the presence of over 50 far left and -right protestors, Adam noted that a larger crowd came to support the mosque, offering reassurance to the community during a time of fear and uncertainty. “We recognise that a lot of the people who are ‘Islamophobic’ have those fears because they are genuinely worried. Whether those concerns are based on misinformation or ignorance is another question. But you need to open channels of communication,” he said.
Adam’s message to the protestors was clear: “Don’t protest against us. Protest with us. Your concerns are also our concerns—whether it’s politicians gangs, terrorism, or extremism.”
