Look, you have around three standalone power centers. You have NATO Nazis, you have the unelected EU regime. He has has wanted this from the outset: He refused to allow more NATO bases on Hungarian territory. He will not give any sort of military support to Ukraine, nor will he allow the shipment of weapons to Ukraine across Hungary. And he has fought hard against the hysterical EU Parliament’s voracious desire to go boots an all into the war against Russia. Cretins like Verhofstadt have called him a traitor for this.
Viktor Orban has pushed in the EU for coming to terms with Russia. (No chance of that while the present composition of EU parliament is in place.) And he has vetoed two significant ‘war party’ moves there. He calls his party ‘the Pro-Peace Party’, and the EU Parliament ‘the Pro-War Party’. He is one of the few good guys on the scene.
