I met one memorable fellow back in the ’80s. Although he never claimed a NDE experience, he certainly used to get so rat-faced on drugs or alcohol he likely got as close to dying as one can get without their heart stopping for good. He was so used to getting out of his face that if he couldn’t afford drugs or he failed to track some down he’d often buy a miniature vodka and mainline that and get smashed.
He said to me once, “You know when you’re dead!” I said I understood he’s been deeply unconscious and was perhaps hovering just above dead, but he was still alive to register those feelings. He didn’t die, or he’d not have come back. I think he experienced similar to a NDE, whereby your subconscious knows you’re still here, and maybe brain patterns or chemicals produced by the brain send messages you can register and hang to. If NDE’s were real there couldn’t possibly be so many, whereas people brought back from the brink of death we see that often, especially with modern recovery techniques applied in the few minutes between loss of heartbeat and crossing over into death from where nobody returns.
I have watched these first four – Readers should bear in mind that he does not deal in specifics.
NDE Experiencers – the ones who provide their testimony, anyway – never REALLY challenge the Official Narrative ( detour- and also not the ‘Everything is for a Good Reason / Unconditional Love for all’ schtick – f***OFF – there is NO justification for the torturing and killing of defenceless animals – it serves NO purpose, karmic or otherwise – and only a c**t would pretend the humans who do this deserve anything but Unconditional Loathing and terminally painful retribution) though Mr. Tolman comes closer than most in his particular disdain for the News Industry.
One detail in all these interviews REALLY bugs me though – Tolman is talking with Drake (Ancestor/Guide)in the Afterlife about the Principle of Abandoning Prejudice, and Tolman is thinking that he is the least prejudiced person he knows – then realises, with Drake affirming this there in his Afterlife – that he had held a prejudice against Muslims generally in the wake of 911, and now realises how wrong he was to be prejudiced against all of them for the actions of a few.
Oh come ON – did not either of them- certainly Advanced Spiritual Guide Drake – really not know that whoever was behind 911, it was certainly not Muslims.
The First Principal given, before Love at no. 2, which order I agree with, is Authenticity.
If Tolman and his Afterlife Guide really believe that Muslims were behind 911, their gullibility and wilful ignorance comes close to blowing the whole Story.
Yet if Tolman knows really that it was an Inside Job, then he is not being Authentic by giving the opposite impression.
This one derail (not a spelling error) puts everything else in doubt – and I read and thoroughly enjoyed the book
(Chapter 15 is sublime, the best description of Heaven I have read either in Literature or allegedly factual accounts)

When people die i think MANY of them are tapping into a type of dream world where they see

Learning to lucid dream is probably a good idea.
When i had my nde relived through a dream- i realized i was dead
my intent was to leave this universe
and i shot off the planet and started gaining speed while growing larger..
the faster i went, the more knowledge flooded in at what i would call faster than thought..in hyperlucid blocks of whole concepts ..the esoteric physics of the universe was so obvious from this perspective
and everything made complete sense…i hit some kind of barrier and as i came back into my body
it was so cramped and awful…i tried to hold onto the knowledge but it slipped away like
water in my cupped hands because the surroundings were TOO DENSE.
“Soul contracts” are bullshit.
I come from a place where nothing ever dies..death is not natural.
Further, something tricked or trapped me into coming here and i am telling you that there WILL be hell to pay for these bastards once i actually pass to the other side..
just recall what i did to the hooded f*cker you sent to assault me in my sleep.

Not sure what is going on here, but it got very interesting by the end –
I go through phases of reading and watching stuff on NDEs, and this last time round I was REALLY hoping to come across a cynical NDE for a change-
I was thinking a book of CYNICAL NDE recollections would be a wonderfully refreshing change-
I’ll read the book when it comes out, Erika (I assume there WILL be one, its almost compulsory, isn’t it?) – and I anticipate there will be NO shades of turquoise on the cover –
In fact, that would be a brilliant title for the Cynical NDE Collection – ‘No Shades of Turquoise’ –

I watched four episodes and read the book and wondered what he meant by ‘my religion’ – because it seemed a curious version of Christianity- nothing WRONG with it, but I subconsciously wondered why he never actually said what Religion it was, although he made it clear he considered himself Religious BEFORE the NDE – but later said he had a reputation for being a bit of a partier and womaniser – which is not typical mormon.
But why no mention of it anywhere, and in a book with a lot of biographical detail.

When one is more dead than alive in a so called human condition on earth than death must surely be much more worthy of life itself.
1) I’ve experienced four NDE but never went to heaven or hell for a quick tour. I did, however, leave my body once (twice actually but LSD doesn’t count) and was saved from going to hell. I really was a bad boy not just a neophyte but Lord Ganesha appeared as I watched myself dying from a fractured skull on the floor of my crashed car. I was floating in the air with Ganesha and a fierce and fearsome looking Yamaduta who waited for me to expire so he could take me to hell but Ganesha intervened and I was back in my body again. An ambulance took me to the hospital where a priest was ready to read me last rites. I told him, through my smashed head and face and teeth and blood, that I wasn’t going anywhere. He appreciated that.
2) Nearly drowned, swallowed mucho water and had basically given up when I got snagged on a tree branch enabling me to lift my head above the surface and breathe again.
3) drug overdose. I was laying on the hill our back where I hag dragged myself and was staring at the sun watching it fade more and more until ir was like a flickering candle. My German shepherd Ricky was snapping at the bugs around my face, licking my face and slobbering all over my face. This annoyed me and kept me from sinking all the way under to pitch black and allowed me to hang in there long enough to outlast the effects and eventually drag myself back to the house and climb into the bathtub to recover. Thank you Ricky! Good boy!
4) Heart attack. “widow maker” Doctor said “you got lucky” and I said “I’ve always been lucky.”
Doctor said “10 more minutes and you wouldn’t have made it.” I chuckled.
So yes, I know what an NDE is and one of them was among the finest most remarkable spiritual affirmations of my life, thus far.
So there are four and I didn’t even count shots fired (near misses) which only made me pee a little, lol.
And one more for good measure though it doesn’t really count either but was nonetheless a very unique and in a strange way, comforting experience.
I died in a dream and didn’t wake up. Long story short I was a soldier hiding behind a bush ready to open up on a couple enemy soldiers walking along a trail. As I raised my rifle, set sights and was ready to pull the trigger a hand grenade landed right beside me. I looked at it and as I did it exploded and there was a bright flash and fade to pitch black. After a couple of seconds the scene slowly faded back into light. I never woke up and was now standing behind the same bush looking across the way at my own funeral. There I was under some tall pine trees lying in my coffin with three or four folks standing around talking. Then I woke up and found myself lightly chuckling, feeling relaxed and refreshed.
A first for me and it has never happened again.

What caused Tolman to die was a dodgy weight training supplement his friend got from Asia and they both took it.
Very interesting from hp – when topics like this come up, same in general conversation – it is surprising the strange experiences people have had –
It is the unsolicited stories that are most intriguing.
Having read the book and seen a fair bit of the you tube stuff, I will definitely say people should hold back on the ad hominem attacks on Tolman- there is far too much compelling detail just to dismiss it like that.
