Yemen’s military spokesman says the country’s armed forces have targeted US aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower in the Red Sea in response to deadly overnight attacks by America on the Arab country.
“The missile force and the naval force of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a joint military operation targeting the American aircraft carrier ‘Eisenhower’ in the Red Sea,” said Yahya Saree in a televised statement.
“The operation was carried out with a number of winged and ballistic missiles, the hit was accurate and direct, thanks to Allah,” he added.
Saree said this was a response to aerial strikes by the US and UK on several targets across the Arab country, which he said targeted civilians in a “blatant violation of all international laws and a full-fledged war crime.”
The American and British warplanes attacked the Yemeni capital Sana’a as well as the governorates of Hudaydah and Taiz.
Yemeni officials say the attacks on Hudaydah targeted the Radio building and the Coast Guard facility and several commercial ships, killing at least 16 people and injuring 41 others.
The Yemeni spokesman vowed the country will not hesitate to respond directly to every new aggression on Yemeni territories, and that it will target all hostile American and British targets in the Red and Arabian seas.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have staged numerous pro-Palestinian strikes since October 7, when the Israeli regime began the Gaza war.
American and British warships have been carrying out attacks against the Arab Peninsula nation to force Yemen to stop its operations against Israeli vessels or those heading towards the ports lying in the occupied Palestinian territories.
Yemen has responded to those strikes by launching attacks on American and British assets in the Red Sea and other waters near Yemen.
On Thursday, Yemeni leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi vowed Yemeni forces will continue their military operations and escalate them “in quality and quantity” in support of Palestinians.
Prior to the contrived attacked on Pearl Harbor, the Roosevelt administration removed its carriers. Too bad for the other ships and their crews. Now that large floating platforms or slow moving armour have become redundant, I venture to say that we may be looking at horizontal versions of the WTC. What better way than to inflame “patriotic passion” than kill a few thousand on these heaps of scrap. If I was a sailor I would want to know if Larry Silverstein has taken out insurance on my boat.
Iran has many reasons for arming the Houthis and an attack on a US carrier is even more reason to do it. I’m unsure if it’s an irony they struck the Eisenhower after Ike warned the US people (and JFK) about the unwarranted influence of the military industrial complex, or whether doing so completes a karmic circle.

To follow the first comment, not out of the realm of possibility for another USSLiberty attack, which if unsuccessful in sinking an American naval ship, Israel will wring its hands and declare “A terrible mistake.” And Israel will use weapons supplied to it by America. And the crew that manages to survive, will be told to say nothing or they will be court marshaled.
Think of the new motor for Israel’s military: “We’ve got your back, American sailors!”
When the entire middle east rises against Israel and America, will America realize how it has been duped, extorted and made to act on the behalf of a foreign power which cares not for America? Will the Nikki Halleys, the Joe Biden’s, all the other bought-and-performing mercenaries persuade America to wage a war it can not win for that foreign power, which has wormed its way into American government, American politics, American participation in in an even greater genocide?

I think Trump might get a little help from the propaganda of “persecution”.
Many know Trump was cheated in 2020, but they can’t see the moves ahead. Trump is being built up as a martyr. There have been one or two figures in the past who have benefited from jail time. The prosecution against Trump is actually a very subtle promotion. I’m sure Rixon Stewart will post on this aspect when the echo chamber arrives at the same conclusion and he feels the that the “Top Table” might concur.
And in no way do I make this as a comment against the many intelligent American posters visiting the TTS, but it seems to me average Americans are the most naive people in the world. They will fall for this ploy of “Trump the victim”….
