As you all know, the UK is in the throes of campaigning following the announcement of an “election” on July 4th.
One particular campaign promise has already caused a huge stir, with incumbent PM Rishi Sunak pledging to re-introduce National Service – mandatory military or some other community service – should the Conservatives win:

It’s caused a huge backlash already, with memes and videos circulating on social media either mocking or protesting the plan.
Not even the usual Tory defenders in the media have come to the governments aid, with defense of the policy relegated to joke hate-figures like Stanley Johnson.
Even the UK military is said to be “divided” over support for the scheme, with one ex-military Chief supposedly calling it “bonkers”.
…and despite this backlash, the Tories have doubled down. Claiming that children and parents could face fines and criminal prosecution for refusing to participate.
So, will the Tories really do it?
Almost certainly not. For two reasons.
1) They don’t really want to.
2) They won’t have the opportunity.
This is simply confirmation that the powers-that-be have already decided Labour will almost certainly “win” the “election” in July.
Sunak couldn’t more obviously have signaled the Tories are throwing the race if he’d included the re-introduction of slavery, cancelling Christmas and banning puppies in his manifesto.
But it’s not just about throwing the vote, it’s also about controlling the conversation. Talk of national service sets up that the country is on some kind of war footing and sells the reality of an “impending WW3” narrative. Something that is also being sold very hard right now. After all nothing rationalizes perpetual deprivation and sells Fear better than a good old war.
Further, it opens the door for Labour to offer some other “solution”. They will claim that the UK military does need to “modernise” in response to the “Russian threat”, but that national service is “an old fashioned response”, or something similar.
Then the newly elected Labour government will dedicate billions in tax payer revenue to some other military program, “updating our nuclear deterrent” or funding cyber warfare programs to “combat misinformation” or sending more “aid” to Ukraine or all of the above.
And everyone will be alright with it because “well, at least they didn’t bring back national service”
It’s an ancient manipulation tactic: Ask for something you don’t want, only to get “talked down” to the alternative you wanted all along. It’s a technique I like to call Lisa’s Limousine.
So let’s be clear: No, they’re almost certainly not going to introduce National Service.
I doubt they have either the desire or intention to do so. National Service is a topic introduced to the national political discussion because it’s so unpopular, because it sells an agenda, because it almost certainly opens the door for an emphatic Labour victory and because it sets up a secondary bait-and-switch “solution” down the line.

I think Kit misses the nuances behind this policy.
They don’t like to talk about. 40 million working age, and 10 million working age don’t do anything productive. What’s more, a good chunk lf these inactive sheeple, are the young.
In bankrupt Britain, you need a degree to flip burgers, or brew some coffee, and as someone who moves around in the UK, many industries find is hard to find workers. Factually, these workers are out there, but won’t work.
When Sir Michael Heseltine, olso, a Lordy, wrote a major report on the none participation in the economy. They weren’t working, they weren’t claiming benefits, they weren’t doing voluntary work, and not in education.
It is generally believed that a country borders on collapse, when 26/27% of working age aren’t in the economy, and even worse, this 10 million plus are being supported by parents, partners, wives, husbands, and friends. The cost of this support isn’t the best way to spend these resources.
My take, the Nazi Tories know it’s time to flip the coin, given that Starmer is a paid up Nazi, and he will simply pick up this policy. Starmer knows full well, this isn’t about putting more boots on the Russian border. This is about a home guard, brainwashing, conditioning, medicating future generations of thicko sheeple.
The problem is, sheeple like Kit see this in historical terms, of dingy military camps full of scrawny rams. This isn’t how it’s going to work. First, the UK can’t afford a proper conscripted military. The current military costs a fortune and their conditions are shite.
The other benefit for the Nazis is mass voluntary work. Maybe they’ll be filling in pot holes for Russian tanks? lol
A couple of months ago this conscription lark of peddled in the fake news media for a reaction. This was not a good reaction, so they’ve added this ‘voluntary work’ aspect, to make it more palatable.
Let’s see if Starmer rejects it out of hand, and let’s see if his rejection still stands a year after walking into No10.
I think this is a done deal. The Germans have done it, and some of the Scandi countries. Maybe we’ll see an exodus of 18yr olds to Ireland.

I think what they’re really after is an army of free forced labour. They’ll have a nicer name for it and tell the new young slaves it’s for their own good such as instilling pride, and tell the rest of us it will cut down unemployment when actually it will add to it, as the only ones to gain will be the worst employers who’ll have a free army of labour to pick from and few of them need ever hire labour again. Some young people will never gain a job if it’s introduced, though they’ll probably toil every day for years under this program. So it won’t cut unemployment, it will exploit the free labour of the unemployed who’ll never have a “job”.
That’s one thing I think they want Starmer to do, to introduce this new form of slavery. Another thing I think he’ll be expected to do is privatise the NHS for his party’s American healthcare backers. It’ll save vast sums for British governments to cut taxes for the rich and feed its own military industrial complex, but it will also ensure those who have property but are only “comfortably off” will have to mortgage the house to buy healthcare as they age, and especially if both man and wife need treatment. The parasite class will start gaining middle class properties and businesses or they watch their partners live their last years in pain. When they have the properties of the comfortably off they’ll next go after the well off. Hopefully the Independents at the election and the Workers Party can stop them or we’ll all be fucked.

This morning the Daily Fail ran one of its regular bullshit stories on Kate Middleton.
In the earlier addition, the quoted paragraph was very close to the top, maybe even the first paragraph. Now it’s been dropped way down this bullshit article.

Come on, this is a joke. They tell another lie. She went in for planned abdominal surgery, but this article says it wasn’t planned. Why this change? Because planned would mean they knew she had cancer. One, basic blood tests would show the patient was fighting a significant infection, or cancer, and to go in for abdominal surgery, she would have an MRI scan, so that would show cancer masses. It’s been a bullshit show from start to finish, or should I say now.
So recap on the back story. Kate was having a fling with one of her sisters ex boyfriends. He was found dead in a locked bedroom with a head injury at a family home, not necessarily his home, or even his parents home. The story goes that Kate was pregnant with this chaps child, and refused to have an abortion.
Me, I’ve always believed Lazy Boy Wills was a nasty bit of work, and he’s on record as saying he didn’t believe he could love one women, and it’s known that LBWs has been testing many beds, so Kate does the same, and he can’t handle it. Does the Nazi regime take care of it, or did LBWs fly into a fit of rage and do Kate in, when she refused to have an abortion?
My understanding of cancer treatment, if that’s really what she had, she would either be in remission by now, or be close to death. Remember, they so say found the cancer while doing the abdominal surgery, we know this is bullshit. Yes, they do find cancers by chance, but it’s rare, as blood tests and scans pick them up.
You will note, many medical professionals were surprised by her long hospital stay, but now, the medical opinions are silent, and for a very good reason. Nothing adds up, nothing makes sense, and even more perplexing, LBWs is a miserable SOAB, but recently, he’s looked very chirpy. If my wife was at home with cancer, I wouldn’t be out grinning like a Cheshire cat.
Either Kate, or Kate 2, will emerge, of we will soon get bleak messages and then a well timed official death and a farce funeral. It’s Diana mark 2. The similarities are disturbing.
