The Independent – May 24, 2024
See it now because it might not be noticed when it’s in the air.
The Air Force has released new pictures of its B-21 Raider – a nuclear-armed stealth bomber. The aircraft is the first new American bomber in more than 30 years and is one-of-six in production, according to USA Today.
The secretive aircraft has taken to the skies over California for testing and sleek new pictures show it in flight.
“The flight test program is proceeding well,” Andrew Hunter, assistant secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, said earlier this month, according to USA Today.
“It is doing what flight test programs are designed to do, which is helping us learn about the unique characteristics of this platform, but in a very, very effective way.”
Each new B-21 Raider has a cost of roughly $700m, according to the latest estimates. That is up from the initial cost of $500m per plane in 2010.
The Air Force contract with Northrop Group calls for at least 100 new bombers.
B-21 Raiders are named in honor of the Doolittle Rangers, a group of Air Force pilots known for their surprise attack against Japan on April 18, 1942. The blitz forced Japan to recall combat forces for home defense – and it boosted morale among Americans.
The “21” figure recognizes the first bomber of the century.
“The B-21 Raider will be a component of a larger family of systems for conventional Long Range Strike, including Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, electronic attack, communication and other capabilities,” an Air Force briefing reads.
“It will be nuclear capable and designed to accommodate manned or unmanned operations. Additionally, it will be able to employ a broad mix of stand-off and direct-attack munitions.”
The plan is for the newest bombers to replace the B-1 and B-2 models.
Stealth bombers are known for their ability to avoid radar detection.

$700m per plane!!! Wow, it’s cost a bomb!😃
By all means!
A nation going broke AND letting thug paupers in at every port of entry most assuredly needs expensive toys for their generals and admirals.
Or do they? Can anyone say “money laundering”? Getting the sinking ship to pay me a fortune as I head for my chalet in Switzerland or Israel would be awfully nice.
From what I can see — they are giving themselves a BIG PAYDAY. Not since the end of WWII have so many crooks set their suction accounts on high. We’ll all be dead and they will be the beneficiaries.
Please note the opening line, and don’t fall for the hype.
“See it now because it might not be noticed when it’s in the air.”
This latest stealth incarnation is a major foundational column in the MIC. They’ve been on this stealth lark for many decades, and it’s just another aspect of MIC failure to adapt to changes.
The Russians, Chinese, Iran, and probably India and North Korea, can spot stealth planes. Simply by studying the profile, they can tune their radars to see these planes.
Stealth planes compromise power, range, and payload, because everything must be hidden beneath it’s outer skin.
If this plane has any upgrades, the Russians and Chinese probably know all about it.
The more significant any new planes upgrades over it’s predecessors, the longer it’s been in R&D. This means it’s fairly old tech.
It’s easy to measure the cost of these abominations in dollar numbers, even very big dollar numbers. What they can’t measure the cost in nor will they try is how many jobs and lives these cost elsewhere such as in cancelled social projects, infrastructure build and repair, homelessness, followed by hunger, increased ill-health, higher crime and drug and alcohol abuse and so forth. People are realising that’s not socialism, it’s LIFE. If you’ve got nothing left worth defending, what’s the point spending every last dime defending it?
What an insane waste on redundant junk…
Morons…
No such things as stealth….they leave heat signatures which the enemy can detect.

I’ve just realised what an idiot I am in my extensive reading, including TTS articles. All I ever needed to do was click my ruby slippers (silver slippers in the Frank Baum’s monetary allegory, as it was written) and I could read “USA Today” in Kansas…
Why can’t we just trust the mainstream media’s journalism instead of believing in this ridiculous notion of finding out what the “real truth” is?
This is rather like the faltering economy situation in Britain. The economy is CONTRACTING EVERY YEAR….so the answer is build two big aircraft carriers that constantly break down!.
The money for these projects must come from somewhere….and that generally means public money….the economy is going to implode as the depressed British nation reaches breaking point….
The only way to stop them is an insurrection…..
The deep government MUST start to make more game shows….with chirpy cockney git Bwad….
@ Simon Smith —
We can’t trust them because they are NOT journalists. They are drones.
When I was in the Navy on the precommissioning team for an aircraft carrier, I was the one that handed “the media” information handouts about how the ship was coming along, and all that.
What amazed me then, and even now decades later, was they’d just take out little handouts and put them in the newspaper without changing a word. THEN — I used to love this __ the reporter would put his name on it as if he wrote it.
The are whores, Simon. And they are lazy.
they have triangular antigravity TR-3Bs various
models . probably with proton laser weapon or
something like that . they make a big secret out
of ETalien + Teslas spirits .
but this will not achieve jewUSAs victory only
some jewoligarchs space vacations with lot of
organtransplantations like david rockefeller .
It is an old technology.
Ever heard of 6 million stealth corpses? They fly silently at night from country to country demanding reparations.
A proven moneymaker, beats any goldmine.
So just apply it to planes or better yet, nonplanes:
“*this stealth bomber is so perfect that you can never see it. I built ten of them at my secret factory in Petah Tikva and you owe me $7 billion plus 10% surcharge because I am child of hellocaust survivors*”.
When the Truth Seeker was paper, there was a Paul Joseph Watson piece using almost the exact same picture; PJW was making the point that “alien” aircraft could be American
