Major General Gholam Ali Rashid
Press TV – May 5, 2024
A senior Iranian military commander has disclosed new details about Iran’s retaliatory strikes against Israeli-occupied territories last month, saying that 240 fighter jets from the US-led NATO military alliance were scrambled to shield the Israeli regime.
Major General Gholam-Ali Rashid, commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, made the remarks in an interview with the Persian newspaper Iran published on Sunday as he outlined new details about the recent anti-Israel operation.
In a multi-pronged attack, dubbed Operation True Promise, the Iranian armed forces launched dozens of drones and missiles at the occupied territories late on April 13 in response to the regime’s aggression on the Iranian diplomatic premises in the Syrian capital, Damascus, on April 1.
The Israeli airstrikes on Iran’s embassy compound in Damascus had killed two generals of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi and General Mohammad Hadi Haji Rahimi, as well as five of their accompanying officers.
Rashid said Iran’s Operation True Promise overcame the self-proclaimed and illusory deterrence of the Zionist regime, which believed its deterrence was guaranteed by relying on the United States and NATO.
Underlining that Iran’s retaliatory strikes exposed Israel’s vulnerability, the commander said the United States, backed by NATO’s major powers of the United Kingdom and France as well as some regional countries, created several layers of defense against the offensive power of Iran’s missiles and drones to protect Israel.
“However, Iran’s powerful missiles passed through the missile defense shields and crushed the two Israeli military centers of Navatim and Shalakhim,” he said.
Stressing that the Israeli regime did not dare to show the world pictures of the two targeted military bases, Rashid said, “Had the Americans, British, French and CENTCOM not rushed to the aid of the Israeli regime, 80% of Iran’s projectiles would have pounded the Zionist regime’s military bases.”
The commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters described Operation True Promise as a defeat for Israel’s deterrence and said the Aerospace Division of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), which was tasked with carrying out the retaliatory strikes, used only a limited portion of its offensive power.
“The offensive operation was conducted by a unit of the IRGC’s Aerospace Division and this single unit used only 20% of its offensive power,” Rashid said.
“On the contrary, the US, NATO, CENTCOM and the Zionist regime, with 240 fighter jets and numerous anti-missile systems stationed on American warships in the Mediterranean and the Red Sea alongside the Zionist regime’s anti-missile systems fearfully, scrambled to defend themselves.”
The commander said that the single unit was prepared to unleash the remaining 80 percent of its offensive power and launch another wave of strikes under orders.
Rashid also emphasized that the US and Western governments were definite partners in the Israeli regime’s crimes against Palestinians.
The Israeli regime’s aggression on the Iranian diplomatic facilities in Syria drew widespread condemnation from the international community, with Iran’s permanent mission to the United Nations saying in a statement that Tehran’s response to Israeli aggression was a “legitimate defense” under the UN Charter.

Yes, he’s right, they are partners, they are all Nazis.
This area of Israel is the most protected airspace on Earth, and Nazi defenses failed!
The truth, Amerika has around 10k of forces in the area, and billions of dollars in kit, and they have almost know defence against Iranian missiles.
Also keep in mind, the Iranians gave the Nazis 72 hours notice, because they had no intent to kill. This point baffles me, but with all that warning time, they still failed.
Just imagine what a surprise attack would do, and also keep in mind the Nazis spent $2 to 3 plus billion in just one night. It’s not just the cost, but the numbers of weapons used to bring down some cheap drones.
Just as a wave of missiles can be used to expend defensive missiles before a second wave overwhelms them, so could this tactic apply to fighter jets. After those 240 NATO jets flew to defend Israel they’ll all have needed hours on the ground for post-flight maintenance. If the jets of Russia and its allies have longer flight-hours before maintenance needs, then after a quick rearm and refuel a second sortie could take out NATO jets while they’re still on the ground under maintenance. This might need only happen once to defeat NATO’s air capability to take air superiority, then after taking out the rest of NATO’s aircraft they have air supremacy – just as cowardly US-led NATO always liked their wars.
NATO = Negro Antifa Talmud Organization
240 jet fighters — two of them were British.
Sabbatean Frankism is a trap sprung upon western nations….
@ DonDon LOL now that’s funny!
“NATO scrambled 240 fighter jets to shield Israel” … the dangerously stupid and abysmally corrupt crumbling cuntries of the West, all having arrived at Destination: F*cked thanks to the aggresive malignant cancer of organized Jewry, continue to fight for the Wrong. F*cking. Side. If there was any sanity and sense, those 240 planes would have bombed and strafed the piss out of Israhell rather than protect those rabid terrorists.

If you have not seen the video evidence of the spectacular defeat of the best, most dense, multilayered missile defense in the world you can watch the video below:

Iron Dome is the last line of short range air-defense; everything short, medium and long range such as David’s Sling, Arrow 2 & 3, Patriot, THAAD, and with the best radars in various thrall countries and one $20M XBAND radar located in US base 512 within Zion’s Nevatim airbase, plus ~240 sorties of fighter-jets helping… all of that was defeated.

Also note that FATTAH 1.0 “high-hypersonic” ballistic warhead in terminal phase appears very bright and it takes only 2-3 seconds for it to hit the target with crazy mach ~25 speeds leaving no chance for any reaction. I personally think FATTAH 1.0 is actually better than FATTAH 2.0 which is a glide design and is slower.
These are truly sure-strike missiles designed to take out air-defense and key targets, however heavier warheads will have to be delivered by other slower missiles.

Has Europe delegated the job of Jew-killing to Iran? But why should Muzzies get the credit?
