Joshua Dean, a former Spirit AeroSystems employee who raised the alarm over lax standards in the production of Boeing’s 737 MAX jet, has died following a sudden and severe illness. In March, another Boeing whistleblower was found dead in a hotel parking lot in what authorities tentatively described as a suicide.
The 737 MAX airliner has had a history of accidents, including two leading to multiple deaths. In October 2018, one of the aircraft went down in Indonesia, claiming the lives of all 189 people on board. Five months later, another Boeing 737 MAX – operated by Ethiopian Airlines – crashed soon after takeoff, killing all 157 passengers and crew. The two tragedies prompted a 20-month grounding of the airliner.
In January, a Boeing 737 MAX-9 operated by Alaska Airlines saw one of its doors and part of the fuselage break away in midair, soon after takeoff. An audit by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) of Boeing and one of its key suppliers, Spirit AeroSystems, subsequently “identified non-compliance issues in Boeing’s manufacturing process control, parts handling and storage, and product control.”
Dean’s family members revealed that the former quality auditor at Spirit AeroSystems passed away on Tuesday morning. His relatives said he had been hospitalized just over two weeks ago with impaired breathing. Dean was intubated, developed pneumonia, and contracted a fast-spreading antibiotic-resistant Staphylococcus infection.
The 45-year-old, who is said to have been in good health and leading a healthy lifestyle, was put on a life-support machine.
In October 2022, Dean said he had uncovered a serious manufacturing defect in the production of a key component that helps Boeing’s 737 MAX maintain normal pressure. He claimed that management chose to ignore his warnings, after which he filed a complaint with the FAA, alleging “serious and gross misconduct by senior quality management of the 737 production line.”
Spirit AeroSystems fired Dean in April 2023, accusing him of missing another major flaw. The whistleblower then filed a complaint with the Department of Labor, claiming his termination was in retaliation for his revelations.
In March, former Boeing quality manager John Barnett, known for raising concerns about the firm’s production standards, was found dead with a gunshot wound days before he was due to give evidence in a whistleblower lawsuit against the aerospace giant.

Well, I’ve been ranting about Boeing for 10 or 15yrs.
Literally, Boeing should have been closed down and it’s directors locked up a decade ago.
Why did Boeing cut so many corners, why did Boeing get away with lying to the US regulators, and why haven’t US courts crushed Boeing?
Well, there are two paths on this journey. One, there’s the MIC, as Boeing is a defence contractor, and that includes space. Two, Boeing is directly run by bankers, and in, there’s going to be banker analysists in the various facilities and in management meetings. Off shoring jobs is a major quality concern, and they got away with it by lying to regulators, and no doubt regulators taking bribes.
Murdering two whistle blowers, is a signal to others not to speak out.
Most big businesses have bankers in the business full time, or are making very frequent visits to these businesses. British Airways reputation is now shit, because bankers get paid bonuses based on the profits they make. These bankers don’t give a shit about the brand, or what customers think.

This would not be happening but for the US government being corrupt. Government employees that are supposed to oversee safety not just for aviation but for everything are being bought off with no show jobs after they leave government service. We had James Comey with absolutely no engineering knowledge hired by Lockheed Martin for millions. Why? So he would look the other way while laws were being broken. It’s corruption that will end America.
The US establishment, which includes Boeing, will ensure that there are no proper investigations and that justice is never done. This is the same mentality of any totalitarian nation where all whistle-blowers are considered to be traitors despite the fact that they most often are acting based conscientious objection for the common good. It is one more example of the arrogance of the power elites who think always in terms of their own executive privilege to decide all matters they deem as “important” regardless of the conflicts of interests and the common good. In every major corporation, government body I have every worked for, or against, you see the same conduct to severely punish whistleblowers and any truthers disclosing their crimes and deceptions.
Now we see their increasing efforts, never witnessed before, to censor virtually anything which conflicts with any official narrative and to severely punish and even kill those who are exposing their crimes. The murder of Dr. Rashid Buttar for his exposure of the Covid crimes is one of many recent examples of establishment fears, panic and ruthlessness. What this means is that the power elites are in fact on the run. They believed that their controls over the media, perception management techniques, and over various technologies would enable greater controls over us, and ensure their right to brainwash us with any lies they wanted to propagated. Global warming and the Covid plandemic are only two recent examples of how all of their planning is blowing up in their faces. To propagate their deceptions, they relied mainly on the mainstream media and the internet to reach into the crannies of every mind on the planet, but because the truth and facts have this peculiar habit of having to correspond to reality, things have backfired on the big-lie propagators.
What we all have witnessed is that bigger the lie the bigger the fall, even though the CIA developed internet to brainwash and control us, it has turned out to the be the biggest whistleblower machine of all time. Now our dependence on it is universal and it cannot be controlled unless a nation or government declares itself to be totalitarian and the people to have no basic rights or freedoms at all. It is because the hunger for truth and knowledge always triumphs over personal and collective interests, that the power elites are so on the run that they are resorting to the ruthless and cowardly Chinese and Russian methods of censorship. Full disclosure is always the most deadly thing to the power elites who have no real concept of the rule of law or what it takes to make it work, nor do they want it to work, unless they can completely control it.
The waking up process to the truth on all issues is the polar opposite force to the suppressive measures being evoked by the criminals running our nations to protect themselves and their interests which they pretend are ours. The process is the opposite to the what we are fed as the “new normal”, BLM, or woke. The arch criminals who oversee the vast criminal mindset which rules our nations only really fear the sword of truth once out of its scabbard, simply because it has no favorites and always cuts both ways. That is why they are so eager to control it. However, just using the corrupt Boeing elites as an example, if not for the whistleblowers who were murdered, likely the dangers they revealed in good conscience and as a duty to their fellow humans, would have led to balanced improvements, rather than more lies and coverups, which no doubt will lead to far worse problems for Boeing and for anyone to trust a flying in a Boeing product.
Not being an imbiber of mainstream news, I occasionally miss quite a bit of stuff. When I met up a few weeks ago with some old normie mates for a countryside walk — aware our presence might make Black folks feel marginalised and therefore wondering whether “blackface” might be seen as “inclusive” or “offensive” — they told me over a few pints about the Post Office malarky in Britain that had been in the “news” a while back.
I mention this because while they kill off people across the pond, British injustice “only” involves ruining people’s reputations and jailing them… Was this subject kicked around on this website at all? Just wondering…
Clearly corporate shenanigans that get brought to light are probably the tip of an enormous iceberg. But I’m sure we all know that anyway, and in deference to the heated discussions on the curvature — or not — of the earth, I’m sure earth geometry disputers might at least agree with an old tatter friend of mine who was always of the opinion, “The world ain’t round, it’s bent…”….and I might add, the space time continuum is so distorted around Sandwell Council House that you might inadvertently enter a black hole if you get too close and end up in Calcutta…
