With zero to go on, my take, and it’s a hunch, this story isn’t true. If Russia had taken out an Israeli nuke, they would have stated this.
Next, if it had been shot down, Israel would fire a second nuke, and so on. Maybe S400s are in range, but I don’t believe there are any S500s in the region.
Very hard to intercept an ICBM flying 1300/1500km with a missile from Russia. So I am skeptical, but it’s possible.

Umbra Bellator: the Iranians would see an F35, so the nuke would be fired some distance out, and the F35 doesn’t have the range to fly over and drop, so if F35 fired, it was an even shorter flight for Russia to intercept, making this story even more unlikely.
If F35’s used, very unlikely to be just one plane. I’d say at least 3, and all armed with nukes, so even more unlikely this story is true.
