Russian President Vladimir Putin has spoken at length about Moscow’s confrontation with the West, in an interview with journalist Dmitry Kiselyov, the head of Rossiya Segodnya, released just days before the country’s presidential election.
Here are the key takeaways from Putin’s in-depth discussion.
Western ‘vampire ball’ is ending
Non-Western nations are striving for sovereignty and are watching with interest as Russia confronts the US and its allies, Putin stated.
Western elites have been “tearing to pieces [the] poor peoples of Africa” and have exploited Latin America and Asia for 500 years, he claimed, adding that the West remains desperate to protect its unfair advantage.
Hawkish recent rhetoric by French President Emmanual Macron may have been an emotional outburst after his country retreated from its former colonial domains in Africa, Putin suggested. Paris has accused Moscow of undermining it, although Putin insisted that Russia “did not squeeze anyone out” of the continent.
No ‘red lines’
Macron has argued that the West should have no “red lines” when it comes to confronting Russia, although Moscow will respond accordingly to any nations that adopt this policy, Putin warned. Such rhetoric, however, is merely down to politicians “fantasizing and riling themselves up,” he suggested.
Putin also claimed that sending Western troops to aid Kiev would threaten Ukraine’s statehood. Poland specifically bears a grudge over lands lost to the USSR after World War II, the Russian leader argued, meaning that if Warsaw deployed military forces to Ukraine, they “wouldn’t leave.”
Moscow remains committed to peace with Ukraine, but won’t settle based on Kiev’s “drug-fueled wish list,” Putin stressed. Russian security must be guaranteed in a way that bridges the gap in trust created by the West’s broken promises, he added.
Kiev ‘slaughtering its own troops for PR’
Ukraine’s lack of frontline victories is pushing its government into reckless actions that have no military value, Putin argued, citing Kiev’s attempt to establish a foothold east of the Dnieper River.
“They were sending their people into the meat grinder. Soldiers were literally barefoot recently [due to supply problems],” the president claimed.
Moscow believes Kiev is sacrificing men in the hope of concealing its desperate situation and obtaining more Western aid.
Russia ready for nuclear war
The US sending a significant military force into Ukraine would be a “red line” for Russia, Putin stated, adding that he believes this scenario to be implausible.
“For us [the Ukraine conflict] is a matter of life and death; for them it’s a matter of improving their tactical position [globally and in Europe],” the president said.
Putin insisted that Russia is ready if the US tries to “play chicken.” Moscow is prepared to use nuclear weapons and considers its arsenal “more advanced than anyone else’s,” he warned.
Washington has enough experts in strategic deterrence, including President Joe Biden, to avoid a nuclear conflagration, the Russian leader suggested – but he added that if the US abandons its de facto moratorium on nuclear tests, Moscow will do the same.
US military bases ‘a black hole of corruption’
The Russian arms sector needs to “get the most bang for every ruble invested,” Putin insisted, stressing that the country is not the USSR, which failed to keep track of defense spending.
The US military is an example of mammoth spending undermined by poor efficiency, according to the Russian leader.
“They spend huge money on maintaining … military bases all around the world. It goes down the black hole, no accounting possible. That is where the graft happens,” he claimed.
Russia’s development of the Avangard nuclear-capable hypersonic glider was a good investment because it “nullified” the US national anti-ballistic missile system, Putin argued.
Trump accused Putin of favoring ‘Sleepy Joe’
Kiselyov asked whether Putin actually preferred Joe Biden to Donald Trump in the US presidential race, or whether he was “trolling” the Americans when he named his favorite last month.
Putin revealed that when Trump was in office, the Republican had accused the Russian leader of favoring his Democratic rival.
The current presidential race in the US is increasingly “uncivilized,” proving that American democracy is flawed, Putin claimed.
Russia doesn’t just have a nuke advantage. Sarmat, each with upto 12 nukes, and at hyper, hypersonic speeds, can approach Nazi Amerika from the Antarctic.
But the real advantages. Russia has massive nuclear bunker capacity, and they have by far the best integrated missile defense systems.
As far as this red line on US/NATO troops in UKraine, it’s boy crying wolf. The Russians have always been more discrete in their portions and much more sophisticated in how they dish out their bullshit. There is always more down-to-earth dung in it than the streamy razzle-dazzle stuff slopped out from Washington. Other than the more mild adverse side-effects reported from those jabbed with the Russian vaccines you also would think that the independent experts in the West would be more curious to see if Russia is reporting as many excess deaths and disabilities as found by US experts. We are not talking about the alleged 35,000 deaths in the US “associated with” the Covid vaccines from the voluntary-reporting sources (which have nothing to do with any valid numbers) but rather the startling real figures of excess deaths and disabilities as published this year by Edward Dowd. The data from more reliable sources have shown NO excess deaths in the world from the Covid virus in the peak year of 2020 during its alleged peak compared to earlier years in the entire world. However, for the US where insurance companies have a very keen interest in the accuracy of data showing excess deaths and disabilities, for the US alone there were in fact 1.1 million excess deaths from for the years 2021 to 2023 which can only be related to the Covid vaccines. Also, the US data clearly indicates for the same years there were 2.3 million excess disabilities corresponding to Covid vaccines administered.
The reason why Henry Makow was so disgusted with the interview of Putin by Tucker Carlson, was because Tucker failed to ask him why he and the Kremlin supported the Covid plandemic. Here in the West we have an epidemic of deaths and disabilities in the West from spike-protein-producing, DNA-invading-Covid-killer vaccines which were totally unnecessary to make anyone “safe” even based on the alleged threat from the virus in 2020, and no one appears to be interested if the Russians have had the same problems. It is now certain that the Sputnik version of the Covid vaccines were equally unnecessary to reduce any real threat from the virus, and yet in essentially doing the same thing to people as the Western vaccines, we hear not a peep from Russia as to any excess deaths or disabilities. No one asks Putin why his government joined in with the governments of the West with the massive Covid fraud. Russia was joined at the hip with the West in committing the Covid crimes against humanity, but Putin and Russia somehow gets a pass. Russian bullshit despite its appearance turns out to be just as smelly as the Western varieties.
Then we have the ongoing mystery of the war in the Ukraine. Four Ukrainian oblasts have now effectively been ceded Russia. The war in the Donbas was deliberately fueled and provoked by the ZOG-Rothschild-Soros-US-UK-Israeli Axis from the time of their takeover of that nation with the 2014 coup. That Axis in 2019 then put in Zelensky with a completely ZOG regime to do the final poking of the hear by slaughtering thousands of the Russian majority mainly with artillery in those four eastern Ukrainian oblasts. On cue, when it was ready Russia invaded and virtually walked over the totally inept resistance from the outclassed Ukrainian forces “supported” by the Western AXIS, which allegedly was afraid to make the Ukraine a part of NATO. The history of the entire debacle reads in much the same as was the video rendition by James Corbett of the 9/11 story.
According the the US B-Team chief spokesperson, Col. Macgregor, the slaughter rate in the Ukraine has been about 10 to 1. That is, 10 outclassed Ukrainian soldiers dead for every Russian dead – some 450,000 Ukrainian dead. Then we have 1/4 of the population (some 12 million Ukrainians) being “displaced” from their own nation since the war began in 2022, which since 2012 the ZOG powers have totally destabilised and turned it into the most corrupt nation on the planet. Where did these displaced Ukrainians mostly come from? The war zone in the east? No. They came mostly from the central and western regions untouched by the war. Hence, what we have going on are more land clearance operations with the giant ZOG-controlled corporations of the West moving in to buy up the best farmland in the world and other valuable assets at Black-Rock-bottom prices.
Why would the ZOG powers of the West with unlimited money, resources, equipment and military, which is far more sophisticated than anything Russia has, start such an unmatched war with a poorly-trained Ukrainian army, and Nazi-flag-waving brigades pitted against the well-trained, well-supplied, and well-equipped Russian army? Was it that they wanted a pretext to invade and conquer Russia, but if so then why were the NATO forces not there at least to defend the Ukrainians? It was a provoked war but for what real purpose?
Why if this ZOG alliance of the West wanted the Ukraine to be a NATO nation did they provoke anything with the Russians? Would not the better strategy simply have been to get their Ukrainian puppet government to freely join NATO despite Russia threats? What is a worse threat to Russia – provoking such as hot war right on its border or simply having the Ukraine which was already TOTALLY OCCUPIED by NATO military and US bases, simply declare they are with NATO? No it is all TOTAL BULLSHIT but at the cost to millions of Ukrainians as if it is some kind of Zio payback for their nation’s part in supporting Hitler in WWII.
If the Western Axis really believed Russian had a superior nuclear strike force and would use their nukes in they entered the theatre in the Ukraine, then why start the war in the first place? Whys start such a war if they knew they would have to back down? The Russian threat was always the same even before 2022? Looks and smells like a deal.
Why if the war in the Ukraine was not a set up between Russia and the Western Axis, such as some DEAL where “We get this and you get that.” (as both powers now proceed to carve up the place for its resources and future importance as a trade hub), and that if it was a real all-out war between the Axis-supported Ukraine and the terrible Russian bear, would the EU continue to get most of its natural gas from Russia, and mainly through pipelines which run right through the war zone in the Ukraine? We were fed reams of US razzle-dazzle bullshit when a little section of the Nord Stream II pipeline running under the Baltic Sea the was allegedly blown up by the Axis powers. So if the Axis really wanted to cut off such trade with Russia because of the war, and interfere with the NG flow, then why do it to the north of Germany in the Baltic Sea? Why not just simply cut off the flow that was running through the Ukraine?

The British media are twisting facts to make an anti-Russia story out of a rather inconsequential event. Defence Secretary Grant Shapps’ RAF plane was flying over Poland near Kaliningrad and they say it was “attacked by electronic warfare”. But it was a Falcon jet of the kind favoured by the wealthy as a luxury private jet and it’s unclear what markings it had. Not only that, it flew close to a sensitive area of Russian territory so they most likely flew into normal air defence measures. But looking at a map of east Europe you can see that Kaliningrad is to the north east of Poland, nowhere near what one would think was normal flightpath for any aircraft to fly unless it was heading north to Sweden or Finland.
I think they (NATO/US/UK) used a high-ranking British minister, traveling in an unusual RAF aircraft, not so much to provoke Russia but to test it’s air defences, knowing Russia would be aware a British politician was aboard so the flight would be as safe as any could be. If they’re playing these dangerous games they’re planning something and we’re all endangered by it, done in a way to try blame Russia.

But for me, the real giveaway — as unlikely as it is to be discerned by most — is the question of the “nuclear deterrent”.
