Zolfaghar missile on parade in Tehran
Humeyra Pamuck – Reuters Feb 22, 2024
The Biden administration on Thursday warned Iran of a “swift and severe” response from the international community if Tehran provided ballistic missiles to Russia, after Reuters reported earlier this week that the Islamic Republic shipped the powerful weapons to Moscow.
Speaking at a virtual briefing with reporters, White House National Security spokesperson John Kirby said Washington has yet to see confirmation that missiles have moved from Iran to Russia
Reuters exclusively reported on Wednesday that Iran has provided Russia with a large number of powerful surface-to-surface ballistic missiles, citing six sources, a move that illustrated the deepening military cooperation between the two U.S.-sanctioned countries.
“In this press reporting, the Iranians are clearly indicating that they will ship ballistic missiles to Russia, and we have no reason to believe they will not follow through,” Kirby said.
“For our part, we will take this matter to the U.N. Security Council,” he added. “We will implement additional sanctions against Iran. And we will coordinate further response options with our allies and partners in Europe and elsewhere.”

Iran’s provision of around 400 missiles includes many from the Fateh-110 family of short-range ballistic weapons, such as the Zolfaghar, three Iranian sources told Reuters. This road-mobile missile is capable of striking targets at a distance of between 300 km and 700 km (186 miles and 435 miles), experts say.
The shipments began in early January after a deal was finalised in meetings in Tehran and Moscow late last year between Iranian and Russian military and security officials, one of the Iranian sources said.
Iranian-made Shahed drones supplied to Moscow have played a major role in Russia’s attacks on Ukrainian cities and infrastructure but supply of ballistic missiles would be a sign of even deeper cooperation.
Iran has been supplying Russia with a significant number of drones, guided aerial bombs and artillery ammunition, which Russia has been using, to some effect, to attack Ukraine, Kirby said.
“In response to Iran’s ongoing support for Russia’s brutal war, we will be imposing additional sanctions on Iran in the coming days, and we are prepared to go further if Iran sells ballistic missiles to Russia,” Kirby said.
U.N. Security Council restrictions on Iran’s export of some missiles, drones and other technologies expired in October. However, the United States and European Union retained sanctions on Iran’s ballistic missile program amid concerns over exports of weapons to its proxies in the Middle East and to Russia.

This is a perfect example of the American “Rules based International Order”. According to America, Ukraine’s allies are allowed to supply Ukraine with long-range ATACMS missiles while at the same time Russia’s allies are forbidden from doing the same. No wonder the world is tired of American logic.
its not Brits its this damned zio infested government
Adolf Hitler put the rothschilds in prison and gave the money back to the people
giving them security food and prosperity
if he could do this why cant we do it ?
😆 🤣 and yet America is ok with sending bombs and war artillery to fund the genocide.
It sounds odd–a “ballistic missile” is something you throw, as if with a ballista, and Russia is well-capable of throwing things
If Uncle Shlomo’s “swift and severe response” to Yemen’s Houthis is anything to go by…
Iran’s Mullahs can sleep like babies ’til the camels come home….
used-car salesman John Kirby’s lip-flapping notwithstanding..
It’s quite obvious that the vemin running the farm is actually infant vermin…and the farm a miniature donkey ride…
One of the most stunning (but not particularly brave) aspects of the fake wars is the expectation that the general sedant is incapable of questioning obvious disparity..and on the whole it seems founded…
For example, nobody sees fit to question the lendlease (theft) to the Ukraine and harrowing of Europe to facilitate this..even the Russkies themselves who seem to just accept that the so called Western world is arming the ‘jewes’ that run the Ukraine.. and evidently they are OK with that, because of the rules they have all agreed upon.. and because Berlin and London still exist… and are valued partners..
Now of course the Yangee Junta is screaming that supplying the Russkies will be met with extreme bloviation and a president with a full nappy and no idea where he is.. to extend the war plans of last resort, having run out of time, money and the ability to cogitate…
So no doubt it serves the Russkies right for backing the Saudi’s over the Iranians in that little spat about some tiny island with a flag on it…in the middle of a huge gas field..
Being friends with Russia is like being friends with Yangees..ask the Armenians…
Of course the Iranians could just sell the arms to China and they could put the usuaul 300% mark up on it..and sell it to the rootin tootins.. like they do with Russian gas and oil to Europe..
which incidentally has never been better stocked…
NB: My error..1000% mark up..very remiss of me…
A few more years and America won’t be telling it’ll be asking. Asking the World Bank and IMF for money; asking the UN for food relief even though it just damned them for feeding Gaza; asking for forgiveness for all the death and destruction it brought the world through bombs and sanctions.
Give this cruel murderous regime nothing.

He did it by having thousands of others willing to fight standing right next to him. “We”, on the other hand, have no one standing next to us. He also had a big ol’ heap of weapons whereas, today, rothchild has all the guns.
Oh, and germany was a self sufficient country. Your country is (assuming you’re british) unable to feed itself and everything in it is owned by rothchild. If you actually managed to do anything, he’d simply cut off your food, your water, your power, your medicine, your communications, and your head. The world is stuffed full of people who say things like “I don’t want to live in the stone age” and “the modern day world”, and who would be about as useless in any fight against rothchild as a GP in a medical emergency.
Naturally, wogs (Iranians) & slavo-mongols (Russians) are on the same anti-Aryan team, working together to ice more whites in Ukraine.
chesterton helps–you can attack Iran cuz dey iz armink rusha, even if that sounds bonkers
Rixon i must have seen 20 requests to drop cry baby carl jones with his natzis natzis everywhere
i dont care about his boasts of wearing frilly pink knickers but i do object to his bullshit
If you need to learn more about the Iran’s missiles in particular the Fateh-110 and also know more about the father of Iran’s missiles, you’ve got to watch this documentary. Make sure you enable English subtitles.
The “Fateh” story | A man with big dreams documentary
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6i9dJdSAleg
In this documentary you get to see the humble and stoic dusty Iranians reminding you of the people of AnsarAllah (Houties) who look very similar; these are the real people that shape the future and have an actual effect, who can void enemy calculations and who are unpredictable, not some politicians in their quality suits appearing in front of the camera! You will also understand the supreme importance of ballistic missiles! Furthermore you will know about Tehrani Moqadam the father of Iran’s missile capability who wished to have this sentence engraved on his tombstone:
“This is the burial place of one who wished to destroy Israel”
Further complementary information:
Missiles with liquid fuel have longer preparation time but they are not prone to fuel expiry issues. Missiles with solid fuel have to be used within some timeframe (a few years), and newer versions of missiles (such as Fateh-313) are to replace the old ones, so the best way for Iran is to sell them. Fateh-110 is the BEST short-range tactical ballistic missile in the world, it beats the competition in accuracy and price; it does not use GPS, GLONAS or any satellite guidance system. Iran’s missiles and drones use very advanced Inertial Guidance system with Fiber-Optic-Gyroscopes(FOG) in their multi-axis Inertial Navigation System. FOGs are essentially made of an optical string in a loop, polarized light pass through them and based on an effect called “Sagnac Interference” angular position and rotation rate can be measured very accurately; these are cheap to make and have no moving parts which means they are resistant to vibration and pressure perfect for missiles and drones, however they have to be extremely well calibrated for the individual unit which is apparently not easy. Furthermore the warhead in the last stage can handle topographic data to achieve such great accuracy, remember earth’s rotation speed can be as high as 450 m/s. This means no Hollywood jamming or electronic warfare works against these missile or drones like Shahed-136. The entire guidance is virtual and onboard until terminal phase when probably a mini-mapping radar scans the area and corrects flight based on the reference target topographic data. I would even argue that if they put some GPS/GLONAS boards inside Shahed 136s, it is for distraction only!
