The US military say it has conducted a new missile strike on Yemen, targeting a radar site in the capital Sana’a in response to Yemenis’ pro-Palestinian strikes.
The US military claimed that the new attack, which was carried out at 03:45 a.m. local time (0045 GMT) on Saturday morning, struck a radar site that belonged to Yemen’s Ansarullah resistance movement.
US Central Command (CENTCOM) said the attack on the radar infrastructure was launched from the US Navy’s US Carney and with the use of Tomahawk missiles.
In a social media post, CENTCOM described the attack as a “follow-on action” from the joint US-UK missile barrages late on Thursday night, which the US said had targeted Houthi Ansarullah military sites across Yemen.
Yemeni Arabic-language al-Masirah television network reported the US missile strike early on Saturday and cited a local corresponded as saying that the aggression had targeted the al-Dailami base in the capital Sana’a.
Early on Friday, the American and British warplanes targeted with 73 missiles five regions of Yemen, including the capital Sana’a and the provinces of Hudaydah, Ta’izz, Hajjah, and Sa’ada, killing at least five people and wounding six others.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, said the United States and the United Kingdom bear full responsibility for the “criminal aggression,” and the attack against the country would not go “unanswered and unpunished.”
Yemenis have declared their open support for Palestine’s struggle against the Israeli occupation since the regime launched a devastating war on Gaza on October 7 after the territory’s Palestinian resistance movements carried out a surprise retaliatory attack, dubbed Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, against the occupying entity.
The relentless Israeli military campaign against Gaza has killed at least 23,357 people, most of them women and children. Another 59,410 individuals have been wounded.
Reports revealed that Israeli shipping companies have already decided to reroute their vessels in fear of attacks by Yemeni forces.
Yemeni forces have also launched missile and drone attacks on targets in the Israeli-occupied territories after the regime’s aggression on Gaza.

I haven’t read any news or watched any TV since last may. I thought I’d come back here and visit a couple of other sites. Nothing’s changed at all has it? I remember when I was last here some guy posted that he’d not been here for two years and he said the same thing – nothing changes. The root cause – ownership of everything by the americans – is still there. In the real world, you still get blank stares and accusations of racist/whatever if you so much as belch. What can you do? Nothing. What will happen if you try? Nothing – or else you’ll be the one that suffers from whatever you did. I could say that you should all just forget about it and you’ll be happier – that’s what the guy that skipped two years said – but I don’t agree with that. What do I say? I still stick to what I said right back somewhere near the start: the only way out is to kill all those with money and power – but the rich who have nothing to do with it – who make up half of the uk and usa – won’t ever give up their easy rides on the backs of everyone else. Fundamentally your species is broken. Imagine an ant colony that behaved like you do – the queen would die, the workers would starve or freeze to death, and the guards would rape what’s left. I don’t see any future but a world war – because the americans that are controlling you all have run out of space to play in. They want control of russia and china. They still control the middle east. No one on your side can or will stand up – and you’d need hundreds of millions to stand up. In the end that war will happen.
