An Israeli general has warned that the regime has failed to meet its “unrealistic” task of “destroying Hamas” and is sinking into the “mud of Gaza.”
In an opinion piece run by the Ma’ariv newspaper, Yitzhak Barik said on Monday that Israel is caught in a “vicious circle” and slammed the regime for ignoring the “facts on the ground” and “living in a simulated reality.”
“As time goes by, we are further and further from achieving the goals of the war: the eradication of Hamas and the release of the [captives], and we are sinking more and more into the mud of Gaza,” Barik noted.
He said he believed that Israel has no intention of entering Rafah in southern Gaza, where Hamas exercises complete control because it is “terribly crowded” due to Israel’s ever-expanding evacuation orders which have displaced over 2 million Gazans.
“It is therefore impossible to attack these camps, and in a word, it is impossible to eradicate Hamas there whose soldiers are mixed in with the refugees,” he added.
According to Barik Israel’s failure to eradicate Hamas rule in Rafah and failure to take control of the tunnels under it means that it has not met the main task it set for the war, to “overthrow Hamas rule.”
Therefore, he said, the continuation of the fighting does not add to the achievement of the goals of the war.
“The opposite is true, this fighting brings us heavy losses every day: from explosives and traps that the [resistance fighters] plant for us and anti-tank missiles that shoot at us,” he added.
Barik said that the Israeli regime “must reconsider” the situation in war.
“Some of the ministers and members of the Knesset also understand that this is an unrealistic goal at this stage,” he said, adding, “but are afraid to voice their opinion lest they be accused of harming the fighting spirit of the fighters and the … goal of destroying Hamas.”
“A vicious circle is thus created from which there is no way out,” he said.
He warned that in case Israel insists on continuing the war or seizing control of Gaza, it will “lose the support of the world in general and the support of the USA in the war.”
He added that the “radical approach” will also result in a “war of attrition” with Lebanon’s Hezbollah which could spill over into the region.
Since the beginning of the war on Gaza on October 7, nearly 22,000 Palestinians have been killed in the Israeli aggression. Palestinians in Gaza are forced to flee on a near-daily basis towards the south as Israel’s intensified assault continues into 2024.
So they’re still pretending genocide is a “war” then?

In accord with universal law, one of the worst consequences for merchants of death is involution, the antithesis of evolution. It takes literally millions of years for souls, images of God, to manifest in human bodies as they must first graduate from both the plant and animal kingdoms. Each of us has possessed the bodies of an uncountable number of plants and animals, approximately 8,000,000. Human form for souls is not possble without that incredible journey!!
Involution takes us back to either the plant or animal kingdom, depending on the essence of our Karmas (sins). Thus, one who “involves,” instead of “evolves,” may find one’s soul in the body of an anmimal in one’s next lifetime. Such an “involving” individual would then need to live through multiple animal bodies again, over hundreds of thousands of years, perhaps, before returning to human form. That would be deemed suitable, corrective punishment!!
One who truly deserves involution can be saved only by the mercy of God, preceded by the prayers of men. The tyrants and despots of contemporary times would do well to reverse course, to cease fire, and to lay down their weapons, in an effort to save themselves from the hell, from the torment of the possible involution, they’ve erected for themselves. They must know that under the ever-watchful eye of our Lord, “no one gets away with anything!”

• An Italian priest has been struck off after calling Pope Francis an “anti-pope usurper”.
Father Ramon Guidetti made the comment during his New Year’s Eve homily at St Ranieri church in Guasticce,
a town in in the Tuscan province of Livorno.
His speech marked the first anniversary of the death of Francis’s predecessor Benedict XVI and paid tribute to the former Pope, the Guardian reports.In a video of the homily, which lasted more than 20 minutes, Guidetti refers to Francis– whose former name is Jorge Mario Bergoglio – as “Mr Bergoglio”, before describing him as “a Jesuit Freemason linked to world powers, a homosexual supporter of the LBGT

Guidetti went on to say that Francis had a “cadaverous gaze, into nothingness”, unlike “good Benedict”.
The priest was swiftly excommunicated.
Simone Giusti, the bishop of Livorno, issued a decree saying Guidetti had “publicly committed an act of a schismatic nature” and ordered him to be “removed from the office of parish priest of St Ranieri in Guasticce”.
The bishop also warned other priests “not to participate in any of his celebrations or other cult practices” as that would incur “the very serious penalty of excommunication”.
In response, Guidetti, who is known to have made previous anti-Francis remarks, said he was proud to have been excommunicated and said it was “a mark of pride to be out of this church, which is a tyranny”.“I am calm,” he told Radio Domina Nostra, a radio show hosted by Alessandro Minutella, another priest who was excommunicated after attacking Pope Francis. “But astonished at the speed at which the guillotine came down. I will frame the decree and hang it on the wall – it will be something I will boast about.”
