The drive to WW3 seriously started with 9/11, and just before this, they set the process for triggering the 2007/8 financial collapse. All by design.
Obama had just won the US presidency, and was furious with us Nazi Brits, because he didn’t have a clue what was going on. He soon got the message, and it’s under his period in the White House that he started the stupid sanctions.

Going a bit further than a hunch, Ezekiel wrote this some 2,800 years ago:

– – Corridor Wars – – Part: 1/2
You may have heard of new oil discoveries off the coast of Gaza strip in the Mediterranean sea or other parts of the world, while energy resources have always been important, what defines geopolitics is the routes through which this energy flows and cargo is transported. Security pacts and economic cooperation are long term when there is a huge investment in a particular energy and trade corridor; once there is a well established corridor it is very hard to separate those countries connected through it. US global strategy has been based on viewpoints of Samuel Huntington particularly in his book The Clash of Civilizations and later his essay The Lonely Superpower; with the conclusion that US must prevent convergence of Russia, Iran and China. It is clearer than ever that the multi-polar world is a reality, powerful countries are trying to secure their interests arguably for the next 200 years and this struggle has been manifested as another cold war with three flashpoints and the scary potential to conflagrate into a Total War. Those flashpoints are 3 specific locations where global emerging powers wrestle with one another.
1- Ukraine
2- Palestine/Israel
3- Taiwan
All 3 are geographically unrelated, however Russia, Iran and China support one another in various ways against US and NATO. While cold wars can last decades, these new cold wars may not take as long. To better understand dimensions of the corridor wars, I will introduce some of the most strategic locations and some of relevant current stories around them, in no particular order.
– Strait of Malacca
This strategic area is located between Indonesia and Malesia however the choke point is by the small country of Singapore which has a small but very dense population and it is in fact a very wealthy country because of the strait of Malacca; there is another strait named Sonda south of that region but it is considerably farther away. Every year ~80K cargo and tanker vessels pass through Malacca, about 219 ships every day! This region is heavily under the influence of US, so China is planning a mega project to create a ~90 KM artificial canal named Kra inside Thailand which would significantly make the route shorter and it would be within China’s sphere of influence and protection. Problem is, a few southern provinces of Thailand are separatists, they are ethnic Malays related to neighboring Malaysia, so US has threatened Thai government that such a canal will lead to secession, it would be natural for US to support north Thailand and China to support the separatists south! It was suggested to create a highway or railway instead but that would require additional unloading and loading of cargo on the other side which makes it inefficient, so this is one of those regions that are in constant turmoil, with competition over who becomes president of Thailand next. Further west of this area Andaman (Nikubar) islands are located, India due to its competition with China has brought about half a million population to these islands and are making military fortifications there, if these islands were not in Indian hands, China would seek to build its canal further up north.
– International North–South Transport Corridor (INSTC)
This corridor is primarily between Russia and Iran, it connects some northern EU countries through Russia and Iran to India and South Asian countries and vise versa. This is a natural and efficient corridor, you can see the cities and ports involved in the image. Since the war in Ukraine both Russia and Iran have invested heavily in it and are developing it faster than ever; Russia in particular depends on it even more due to the sanctions and has even granted majority share (53%) of the Salyanka port in the city of Astrakhan in northern shores of the Caspian Sea to Iranian state owned companies, an indication of how Russia is serious about this corridor; there are also ongoing projects to construct the infrastructure necessary so Iran and Russia can swap oil/gas more effectively between Caspian Sea and Persian Gulf nullifying much of the transport costs and supply time. The transit route ends at Bandar Abbas port, however it also branches out to reach Chabahar as it is the only Iranian port exempt from US sanctions; India pressured US to remove it from sanctions because they are interested to use the North-South corridor and be able to trade with Russia more efficiently rather than using the route going through Suez canal, Indian cargo would reach Moscow after ~44 days if it goes through Suez Canal, but North-South corridor will cut that to just ~14 days and with a fraction of insurance cost. A number of events delayed development of railroads for Chabahar port even though its development would have primarily benefited India and Afghanistan; for example Iranian trains used certain sensors to automatically adjust distance between one another along the path, but a strange deadly incident happened and it was blamed on those sensors… some fishy rules were voted in and replacements were stalled, likely a sabotage; or Pakistan with its problems with India supported separatist terrorists to explode bombs in Chabahar, so Indians would be discouraged from investing in this port. Just when Iran and China were meeting to reach deals, civil unrests were erupted in China over COVID limitations and in Iran over mysterious death of a woman, a similar incidents happened in Iraq over death of a beautiful celebrity who was shot dead a day after Chinese and Iraqis met reaching a deal, and in a number of other regional countries. Pakistan depends on US aid money and it is common knowledge now that Imran Khan was ousted and later put in jail by Pakistan’s military because of US pressure which also led to Pakistan canceling its pipeline project with Iran. Afghanistan is a land-locked country depending on Pakistan for a sizable part of its imports, Taliban wanted to avoid reliance on Pakistan and had initially agreed with a deal proposed by Iran to become part of Chabahar route, however since Taliban has various different factions some of which again depend on US aid, this did not happen. Now if we look at the Iranian north end of this corridor things become even more complex because that area is South-Caucuses and we shall explain its strategic significance below.
– The Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) or Middle Corridor
This is the corridor that connects EU to China through Turkic nations. On the Mediterranean side there is Turkey through which cargo and gas/oil can reach EU or Israel. This is the preferred corridor for US/NATO/Israel because it bypasses Russia and Iran and to do so it has to go through Caspian Sea. US actually funded $5 billion for an underwater pipeline just to make sure none of this oil and gas has to go through Iran or Russia. The history and details of its development is long and beyond the scope of this article, I am mainly focusing on the geopolitical side of it. While the rest of the corridor can be developed through Georgia, both Turkey and Azerbaijan are interested to have it go through Syunik province of Armenia and they have named this part of the corridor Zangezur. This is the only missing part of the puzzle, that’s why South Caucuses is an extremally strategic location. Should Azerbaijan attack Armenia and take this small land to connect with Nakhjavan and Turkey, it would effectively cut Iran’s land access to Armenia further north. It would also bring NATO Turkey to the Caspian Sea which is unacceptable for both Russia and Iran. The history of region requires a chapter of its own. Iran had offered Azerbaijan and Turkey to have this part of their corridor/pipeline to go through Iran instead but until recently they would disagree, an indication that this Middle Corridor is indeed more of a security corridor rather than a purely economic one. We will get to the reason why they changed their mind, however it was clear they had prepared to start a war with Armenia, but the deadly earthquake on 6th of February 2023 that mainly hit southern Turkey delayed their plan, it was further delayed due to elections in Turkey which resulted in reelection of Erdogan, and by the time unrests in both China and Iran had been dissipated and their great opportunity was lost; they had hoped Iran would be concerned with internal issues and not intervene in their attack on Armenia, while Russia being busy in Ukraine also preferred not to have another war next door. Both Turkey and Israel had armed Azerbaijan with drones and other weapons, however Iran could not directly arm Armenia because of the pro NATO position of their president as well as the racial and religious complications with the neighboring Azerbaijan, instead Iran convinced India to ship arms to Armenia through Iran, and they agreed because of their interest for the North-South corridor development. After losing the great opportunity, US and NATO had another complementary plan. They offered both Georgia and Armenia which are geographically weak countries to become part of NATO; this would particularly solve Armenia’s security concerns with regards to Azerbaijan. President of Armenia is Nikole Pashinian who is a westernized liberal man and he used to be a student of George Soros to make matters worse; he wanted to exit Russia’s orbit and become part of NATO, for this to happen he had to offer something in return, and that was the disputed mountainous area of Artsakh; it was no doubt coordinated. Eventually Ilham Aliyev ruler of Azerbaijan invaded Artsakh, resident Armenians there fought but they were betrayed by Pashinian and their defeat became inevitable, soon after he handed over this strategic area on a silver platter to Baku resulting in protests in Yerevan. Artsakh area can also act as a good fortification point against potential Iranian incursion. Note that US had sent some ~200 special forces to Armenia under the pretext of joint military drills, however those 200 could only be used for one purpose and that was to protect Pashinian in case Russia tried to instigate a coup to topple him. This corridor could potentially answer energy needs of European countries while also bypassing Russia and Iran. If you look at the Turkic nations involved on the map and add Afghanistan and Pakistan to the list effectively this is like a wall separating Russia, Iran and China from one another.
Another noteworthy development in this area was Baku’s construction of an unusually large airport in Zangilan, the second airport built in Karabakh region since its victory in the 2020 war against Armenia, this airport is located near Iran and Armenia border. Erdogan himself personally attended the inauguration. Based on the leaked videos from ISIS, this airport that can receive all types of planes and serve 200 passengers per hour was to be used to ferry in many remnants of ISIS fighters from Idlib which is Syrian territory occupied by Turkey, they could become new settlers in Artsakh. Interestingly some have argued that the deadly earthquake may have been caused by a Russian version of High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP), however there is no evidence that such environmental weapons are as developed or as effective and a more plausible theory is explained below regarding Dams.
– Water Wars and Dam Building
Most dams damage environment and the water that should be accumulated under ground will be left in the open and evaporates; while dams are advocated as peaceful humanitarian developments to generate electricity and drinking water and create peaceful irrigation for many poor people, the harms larger dams cause always outweigh their benefits. Artificial droughts in long term can lead to gradual depopulation and insecurity of the affected regions, creating hurdles and obstacles in the path of related energy and cargo corridors. Large dams are also hazardous and can be targeted to flood great expanses of land to create impassable terrain or damage cities and infrastructure along their path. Thus dams should be seen as weapons first and foremost. One nation in particular which has used dams as weapons is Israel. Sudan’s scission into North and South and the consequent rapid establishment of relations with Israel a day after South Sudan independence should be studied in greater detail, one source for study would be the Hebrew website “Meda” published a book in October 2015 entitled “Mossad Mission in South Sudan,” in which it was reported that Tel Aviv had made an effective contribution to the division of Sudan. For our purpose however we would like to point out that the dams built in South Sudan effectively control downstream for Nile and this will make Egypt think twice before ever crossing with Israel as they can simply cut river Nile’s water which is a lifeline for 100 million Egyptians. Israel also had a joint project with Turkey named Great Anatolia Project (GAP) this was essentially building more and more dams to dry up Syria and Iraq, in particular the river Euphrates, the sand-storms that hit west of Iran are caused by this artificial drought; some of the dams are also going to affect Aras river and north-west of Iran in the area of DashteMoghan which produces significant share of food. The Ataturk dam is the largest of them all, in fact it holds so much water that some geologists attributed Turkey’s deadly earthquake to the pressure that the dam put on the seismic plates. Essentially these shallow waters and the narrow passageway act as trap for larger ships. While strait of Hormuz is still important however nowadays strait of Bab Al Mandab is even more important.

Both of these strategic choke points are at the either ends of the Red Sea, if either end was to be blocked, for instance Indian cargo ships would have to travel all the way from Horn of Africa passing by Somali pirates, move on to Good Hope in South Africa and from there move back up and cross the equator again and finally pass through Gibraltar to reach Europe. This would increase product prices and shipping times by many folds and global economy can not suffer this, for this reason many countries have presence in this region. Chine has a base in Djibouti, UAE has been building a small air base for US that can also be used by Israel in the Perim (Mayyun) Island to monitor Yemen. This Island is strategically located at the entrance of Red Sea, dividing the passage way into a 3 KM wide (Alexander’s Strait) and a 25 KM wide (Dact-el-Mayun) straits, combined it is just Mandab strait. Perim Island used to be part of the Aden Colony which was under British rule until 1963, back then the British royal family even had wedding ceremonies in this Island. It is clear that IDF intends to take over north of Gaza first to create a buffer zone for its new planned canal. Note that Saudi Arabia has 6 pipelines to bypass Hormuz and they had another one to bypass Mandab. Currently AnsarAllah (hooties) have effectively blocked red sea Israel’s port of Eilot.
– Arabian-Mediterranean (Arab-Med) corridor
This was a recently proposed corridor, planned by US to connect India to Saudi Arabia and UAE to Jordan and Israel and from there to Turkey and Europe. This is a huge energy/cargo corridor plan that is geographically inefficient and even with huge funding and development it would never beat North-South corridor in transit times and cost. Despite this, US had managed to bring India and Arab countries to join with Israel in making this corridor happen; if Arab governments were to become part of this corridor system, they would bind in unshakable security agreements as a consequence ensuring long term security and integration of Israel into the region. Netanyahu at UN showed yet another new New Middle East Map on which he drew the corridor line; what many observes noticed was that map of Israel did not show Palestine at all, many completely ignored the most important element of his presentation the corridor itself! It is now clear that they were planning to dismantle Gaza strip with a mass exodus to move the population to various other Arab countries. Days after this, Iran’s leader in a speech quoting their style of language told the Arab governments that “…they should not bet on a losing horse!”, 5 days later on October 7th, Hamas military wing AlQassam executed a perfect blitzkrieg completely surprising Israel, for a few days they were in shock and unable to respond effectively. This brought back the problem of Palestine on radar and it became an issue of Arab and Muslim world, as a result both this corridor and the completion of the Middle Corridor which were designed to bypass Iran became nullified. It took 20 days for Erdogan to take a stance and condemn Israel as public pressure was mounting in both Turkey and Arab countries. Just days ago both Turkey and Azerbaijan agreed to connect the Zangezur corridor through Iran and for now have abandoned their ambitions for the Syunik province of Armenia. India too has refocused on the North-South corridor, and Putin just visited Saudi Arabia and UAE and received an unprecedented welcome. While Gazans are suffering huge civilian losses and Israelis too are living in camps, shelters and hotels, with unsustainable economic damage every day, we have to recognize that had Palestinians not acted on Oct 7th, a regional war of great magnitude resulting in many millions of deaths would be on the horizon. So people of the world in a way owe Palestinians for their sacrifice. It is not clear how things would develop. Role of Iran and the Resistance Axis can be analyzed in a chapter of its own. This Arab-Med corridor has been canceled until further notice as nobody would fund and build an energy and trade corridor through insecure countries engaged in wars and undergoing civil unrest.
