Something that hasn’t been mentioned is the fact that the professional Israeli army ( not the conscript soldiers) always had a small minority of professional Arab soldiers mostly Druze and Bedouin who made up around 25% of the force . They were very much feared by the Arab armies, but under Likud the Israelis have stopped recruiting Bedouin much to there detriment. The Israeli army has now become a racial pure but ineffective army .
