It should come as no surprise that hard-right political parties have become part of the European political landscape amid soaring crime rates and tumbling living standards, as national borders remain wide open.
Last week, European capitals received yet another brutal reminder that, try as they might, it is impossible to forever tamp down the rise of anti-immigration sentiments. This latest wake-up call came as Geert Wilders, head of Party for Freedom (PVV), won in the Dutch general elections, grabbing 37 seats out of 150 (76 seats are need for a majority).
The victory comes months after the collapse of former Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte’s government amid infighting over migration policy.
“Migration is a large and important subject, both politically and socially,” Rutte told reporters in the Hague at the time. “Now that we cannot come to an agreement on this subject, we have jointly decided that the political support disappeared.”
Wilders, familiar by his trademark white bouffant, is perhaps even more recognizable by his fierce anti-immigrant rhetoric, which is particularly aimed at Muslims. A political acolyte of Frederik ‘Frits’ Bolkestein, a retired politician and who served as leader of the People’s Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD), Wilders’ platform calls for a ban on further mosque construction in the Netherlands, tough laws against street crime, and severe restrictions on immigration.
Exactly how much of his manifesto Wilders will have to scrap to enter a new coalition government remains to be seen, but already the new pro-reform NSC party of Pieteer Omtzigt (20 seats), the BBB agrarian party (seven seats), and the center-right VVD party (24 seats) have all signaled the possibility of sharing power with the PVV. On top of this, Wilders stands a better than average chance of becoming the first far-right prime minister of the Netherlands.
If Wilders wins, it will represent yet another setback for the EU as it is already dealing with an increasingly influential anti-immigration bloc made up of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, and newly elected Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico. Meanwhile, Europe’s two political powerhouses, France and Germany, are also witnessing the inexorable rise of anti-immigrant parties, namely Marine Le Pen’s National Rally, and Alternative for Germany, respectively.
As if to underscore Wilders’ victory, the Irish capital Dublin exploded in an orgy of mass rioting on November 23 after it was reported that an immigrant had stabbed three young children, critically injuring a five-year-old girl. The male, who was charged with knife possession in May but never convicted, also stabbed and seriously injured a care assistant as she tried to shield the youth. The assailant was later identified as a 49-year-old naturalized Irish citizen, of Algerian origin, who had lived in Ireland for 20 years.
In the melee, 400 gardaí (Irish police) were dispatched, including the largest deployment of gardaí armed with riot gear in the nation’s history.
All of this was easily predictable considering that tiny Ireland is bursting at the seams with new arrivals; 141,600 migrants arrived in the year to April 2023, pushing Irish immigration to a 16-year high. In fact, Muhammad became the most popular boy’s baby name in the Irish city of Galway last year, according to the Central Statistics Office (CSO).
It is the first time the Islamic name has become the most popular baby name in an Irish city, and continues a trend witnessed in the UK and other European nations in recent years.
Amid a souring economy and increasing crime rates, the Irish people, like the citizens of other European nations, have taken to the internet to express their views on immigration, and not in a way that could be considered positive. Anti-immigration messaging on social media is now more prominent than discussions on healthcare, the Russia-Ukraine conflict and topics related to LGBTQ+.
As far as the media was concerned, however, it was not the recklessness of the Irish government that – finally – caused the Irish street to explode in pent-up outrage, but rather the conspiracy theorists who “fearmonger” on social media. Merely discussing immigration statistics is now one and the same thing as ‘stoking violence’ in the view of the authorities.
While Ireland stands practically alone among EU member states as the country without a viable anti-immigration party (in the most recent general election in 2020, the best-performing far-right candidate attracted just 2% of the votes), that looks set to change very soon. In fact, one plausible candidate for change could be Conor MacGregor, the Irish mixed martial artist, who let loose with a flurry of jabs at the government over X (formerly Twitter) amidst the carnage.
He wrote: “Innocent children ruthlessly stabbed by a mentally deranged non-national in Dublin, Ireland today. There is grave danger among us in Ireland that should never be here in the first place, and there has been zero action done to support the public in any way, shape or form with this frightening fact.”
“NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Make change or make way. Ireland for the victory. God bless those attacked today, we pray.”
While some commentators chastised the MMA fighter for spreading “conspiracy theories” and hate, others came out in support, even suggesting that he seeks a career in politics.
Unfortunately, this is how the road forward looks for the European Union as it struggles to absorb millions of new arrivals without any forethought as to how the experiment was supposed to work in the first place – one painful, bloody battle after another.

So long as these movements endorse the pejorative tag ‘far right’ they show themselves to be part of the problem and the system. They need to implement Regime Change otherwise they are simply offshoots of that system.
Between say 1955-85 immigration into Europe was somewhat controlled and based largely on available employment with the optimism of growing prosperity and improvements in the quality of life. This all began to change with Thatcher who set about to de-industrialise Britain and fundamentally destroy many of the structures of that society . As time went on and the EEC, EC and now EU emerged, similar de-industrialisation began to sap the entire continent. Moreover this was compounded by a homogenisation of all political parties into a deadly throttling kind of ‘consensus’. Only it is consensus without the input of the people, a political/admin class emerges with toxic arrogance and entitlement- managing and planning society. In Britain, Blair unleashed mass immigration which of course is designed to re-design society in an ever more fundamental way than Thatcher ever dreamed of. The wealthy and connected are of course overjoyed, de-regulition means workers’ rights are vaporized, sick pay holidays, even pensions become ‘too expensive’ in the competitive frenzy. Only wars and surveillance never become too dear it seems as the two go hand in glove . Causing chaos around the world due to the permanent NATO warmachine fuels the endless supply of angry disconnected, often fundamentalist Third World to be imported by quotas year by year. Here, Merkel added her malign hand to The Great Work by overruling the German constitution and EU laws and allowing anybody who gets into an EU country the right to stay there and move around. Hence beach landings in Spain, Portugal, Britain, Italy, Greece and more. All fuelling another very lucrative industry, people trafficking aka New Slavery. If all were returned immediately to their place of departure then the people trafficking would rapidly collapse, for who will pay only to be sent back? But EU politicos are corrupt and they see monetary opportunity and ‘far right’ parties are soon hypnotised by this lure as well, or simply intimidated.
Not only is this quota immigration into Europe highly dangerous for social stability, justice and decency it impacts on all but the most privileged or delusional. It degrades the quality of life for native born, long established immigrant and new arrivals- a hamster wheel taken over by rats. Moreover, it insults those immigrants who wanted to do things by the book and legally apply to come to a country- those doing it illegally just force their way in first and laugh at rules. Why? Because the EU plutocrats simply abolished the concept of ‘illegal immigrant’ and made the word an example of hate speech punishable by fines or worse. Everybody is a Migrant now, like the birds, only unlike the birds they don’t return at the change of the seasons, they just come in ever larger numbers. But the docile Europeans turned into Ostriches…
We are constantly told that we can’t afford pensions, working health care etc etc for a welfare state cannot withstand endless arrivals many of whom are not going to be contributors. No the elites say, it’s because we are all living so much longer! This too is clearly a lie, go and look at an old graveyard, people born after 1945 have huge rates of cancer, diabetes and other mortal illnesses far earlier has before, many never get their meagre pension but certainly have contributed.
Constant mass immigration by quota year after year is supposed to help Euorpeans in the old age many never enjoy , who will look after us?? More simplistic lies, with AI unleashed, less and less jobs will exist making yet more difficulties in social fabric, housing, health, education and yet the population must get bigger at all costs. A place like Britain has largely kept going by its ridiculouse hike in house prices appealling to peoples’ greed and yet a slum is a slum wheter or not it costs a million Quid, seems that Ireland wishes to do the same and begin to overpopulate a pleasant country, nice green policies for the environment isn’t it?
Looking at these ‘far right’ movements gives little cause for hope, still less concern. Marine Le Pen will never be allowed to take power in France despite her bending over backwards to be mainstream- her recent strong approval for zionist military policies will not be enough. Geert Wilders in NL spent time on a kibbutz- why not a Dutch farm or a Palestinian olive grove? He is married to a proud zionist though. Georgia Meloni on getting power in Italy has spent most of her time jetting around the world for photo ops, she’s certainly attractive-physically at least but a lot of grovelling to Ursula at the EU, enthusiasm for Zelensky and his cash and weapons demands, and no stopping the boats overwhelming the traditional communities she claims to represent. Likewise, in Scandinavia the Swedish Democrats sharing power for the first time, no change in Sweden’s endless absorption of the Third World plus rabid enthusiasm for joining NATO warmachine- only held up by Turkey-looking for a bribe. In Finland, The True Finns leader Rikka Purra is deputy PM AND Finance Minister in the new govt. but she is carrying out austerity measures, enabling privatisation of the health service, total subservient to the EU and has not done anything about immigration quotas nor will, but like all Finnish politicos, vies with each other to be more Russophobic than the next and thrilled by NATO’s ‘protection’ Recently, Russia has been sending a handful of Africans and Arabs over the Finnish border on bicycles- in accordance with EU laws(Merkel’s Law) that if you get to an EU country you get asylum. This is treated as a full scale military invasion and politicians want American forces and nuke missiles to be invited in immediately to stop these threats. Far right out of their mind.
Only Orban in Hungary shows some tenacity and independence of mind, standing up to Soros interference , refusing to arm and pay Zelensky, giving the EU the finger and not taking in fixed quotas nor the undocumented as they are a threat to Hungarian culture. He is by no means perfect of course and has flaws, but he does not lack courage or vision-unlike his western counterparts. He is the closest Europe has to a politician with spine, to what is badly needed a de Gaulle who it should be remembered, withdrew France from NATO and ordered Americans and Canadian troops out of France. Respect and dignity are earned, these so called populist or ‘far right’ politicos look awfully shabby for now. Let’s see.

As if the knife attack in Parnell Square, Dublin were not shocking enough, the mainstream media’s narrative of the events, during that terrible day of November the 23rd, is nearly as troubling of itself.
How many of you believe that it was the courageous intervention of another immigrant, the Brazilian Deliveroo driver, Ciao Benicio, who saved the day? A good many, if not most of you, I’d guess. Yet Mr. Benicio’s involvement was peripheral to the struggle to disarm the frenzied Algerian and that he, himself, was at no time endangered. Surprized? I was.
What really happened was this. The first person to intervene was Leanne Flynn, a childcare assistant at the school and a woman of dauntless bravery. She was stabbed multiple times and required emergency surgery. As far as I know, she is still in hospital.
Please note that Ms. Flynn is a native Irishwoman.
The first person to run to her aid was Warren Donohoe, a gentleman from Wicklow who was visiting Dublin with his family on the day. Mr. Donohoe gallantly fought the crazed knifeman and managed to wrestle the murderous immigrant to the ground. Mr. Donohoe, risking his own life, disarmed the Algerian psycho and the badly wounded Leanne Flynn, somehow, summoned enough strength to kick the knife away from the reach of the assailant.
Please note that Warren Donohoe is a native Irishman.
It was only then that Ciao Benicio involved himself, throwing his crash helmet at the knifeman, who Mr.Donohoe had already pinned to the ground. Benicio picked the knife up, ran across the road with it and threw it into some bushes. That was the full extent of Benicio’s involvement.
Yet, bizzarely, the Brazilian has been hailed everywhere as the hero of the hour. At last count a sum approaching £400,000 has been donated to Mr. Benicio’s GoFundMe page, in gratitude for his efforts.
It gets worse. Mr. Donohoe’s wife, Stacey, who witnessed the horrors, was naturally a little peeved that Leanne Flynn’s selfless bravery and her husband’s heroics were not being recognized by the media and that a secondary actor, Mr. Benicio had been elevated to superhero status. She therefore began recounting the true narrative of events at her X account.
This came to the attention of the Gardai, who warned Mrs. Donohoe to discontinue her efforts, lest she prejudice the case going forward. Mrs. Donohoe complied. Her husband’s GoFundMe page has stalled at approximately £7,000.
Doesn’t it seem unlikely that the Gardai should have censored Stacey Donohoe, upon a potentially sub-judice infraction, while Ciao Benicio has been interviewed endlessly ever since?
