Israel’s relentless bombardment of the Gaza Strip has hit areas it had told Palestinians to evacuate to in the territory’s south.
The strikes came a day after the United States vetoed a United Nations resolution demanding an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza, despite its wide support.
Gaza residents “are being told to move like human pinballs – ricocheting between ever-smaller slivers of the south, without any of the basics for survival,” Secretary-General Antonio Guterres told the UN Security Council before Friday’s vote.
Two hospitals in central and southern Gaza received 133 bodies of Palestinians killed in Israeli bombings over the past 24 hours, health ministry officials in Gaza said on Saturday.
Dozens of people held funeral prayers in the hospital’s courtyard before taking the bodies for burial – a scene that has become routine over the past two months of war.
In the southern city of Khan Younis, which has been the focus of Israel’s military operations over the past week, the Nasser Hospital received the bodies of 62 people, the ministry said.
More than 2,200 Palestinians have been killed since the December 1 collapse of a weeklong truce, about two-thirds of them women and children.
With the war now in its third month, the death toll in Gaza has surpassed 17,700.

The U.S. Stands Alone in the World Supporting Genocide Against the Palestinian People
In my extensive coverage of the Israel – Hamas war since it started, I have reported that the ongoing genocide of an entire race of people, the Palestinians, is vehemently opposed by a vast majority of the world’s population. More than half the Israeli population does not support Netanyahu’s reign of terror, and the majority of Jews living in the United States also do not support the annihilation of the Palestinian people, where recent polls have shown that about two thirds of the population of the U.S. do not support Israel’s action, but instead support a ceasefire.
And now, since yesterday, December 8, 2023, we can add the United Nations Security Council, where a resolution to call for a ceasefire in this horrible war with over 10,000 people now murdered, most of whom are women and children, failed by the only vote cast to oppose that ceasefire, the vote of the United States, who is a “permanent member” of the Security Council, with the authority to override everyone else’s votes.
Does any rational-thinking U.S. citizen still believe that the U.S. can take on almost the entire world, risking the security of our country, by choosing to stand with Netanyahu’s reign of terror?

Let us look at some average Gaza strip demographics for 2023:
Crude death rate per 1000: ~3
Crude birth rate per 1000: ~27.5
Growth rate: ~2.07%
So if current population in Gaza is ~2 million, we get 41400 new Gazans every year! These are however going to have no hope for future with malnutrition and living in humiliation, many would also be killed in Zionist “moaning the grass” every now and then so, let us say ~20K are going to be killed anyway in 10 years. That’d be some ~5 people every day in addition to 3 normal deaths per 1000. Even so the population of Gaza would still be growing anyway.
With that in mind, people of Gaza decide to sacrifice this number of their population in a few months rather than over a decade but to win and make a difference! These will be noticed but if they were to die over a decade nobody would notice them! They’d become just statistics.
In fact just assume over 75 years they have lost millions of people and now in ~4 mouths they decide to lose 200K for a well planned cause and make them count! Finally note that earthquakes can kill many more like the one happened in Turkey killing ~24K. Indeed resistance of people of Gaza is effective and logical.
