The laws are not “stupid” if they are destroying the country. The internal enemy WANTS the country destroyed so they makes perfect sense. The fix has been in for a long time.
The speaker shows just enough schadenfreude to be believable. Speaking as a Salvadoran and aware of how miserable the US Deep State meddled in Salvadoran internal affairs to the extent of causing revolution and internal war, he’d have to be an angel not to feel some twinge of revenge.
But it also shows another enduring fact: A nation that is imperialist abroad will sooner or later become a tyranny at home. And tyrannies have a real hard time making ends meet.
In the short video, President of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele stated, “The demise of the US has to come from within. The enemies have to be inside. …. External enemy can [only] cause so much damage. …. You are watching internal operations here. You can see them and see these cities that were pristinely beautiful 30 years ago are wastelands right now …. I’m from a third world country in Central America, and myself I can see cities here and say, I don’t want to [live there], I want to live here.
So that would be unthinkable three decades ago, totally unthinkable that a Salvadoran wouldn’t want to live in a US city, any US main city, I mean – Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, yeah well, Philadelphia, Baltimore. When you look how the cities are eroding so fast, this has to be by design, … so many stupid decisions like okay, … ‘we’re going to give you money for drugs.’ But really, they’re doing that in some cities, they’re giving people drugs. I mean, they’re literally giving people drugs in some US cities.
Or they say, ‘Okay, we’re going to give you money if you don’t work.’ …. They make all of these laws that make no sense.”
This is the first time that I have heard of the man, thanks to TTS. Thus, I will base my opinion on the merits of what he said.
President Bukele made an astute observation. Forces within the US federal, state and municipal governments have pursued a path not in keeping with the best interests of the people they supposedly serve, instead catering to special interest groups, who are basically busybodies, sticking their noses into other people’s businesses (and countries) without attending to their own where it belongs. The government agencies in synchronisation follow a carefully crafted path of destruction to US society.
