Yukon Jack is typical of the rigid, closed-off, narrow, atheistic mindset who cannot even admit the possibility of a supernatural order, grace, or even one tiny miraculous intervention in anyone’s life. If they did their entire materialistic edifice would crumble. Unlike agnostics who waste their lives in perpetual uncertainty unable to make any assent to truly ultimate things, many atheists get fed up with their dour and hopeless negativity and drift towards various forms temporal enthrallments and sometimes even to the occult. I am not saying this about Yukon Jack, although he does appear to have placed himself and everyone else in that place he calls “hell”, which is exactly where the occult leads people. Jack, nevertheless, is a very good complainer but he generally ends up so pissed off with everything, that all he can offer for any solutions are guillotines, firing squads, or nukes.
Jack tells us that he grew up in a Catholic home but that he came to hate the religion, and also God, whom he blames for all of the evils and sufferings of the world. His solution to that problem is the same as for the Jews. Kill them! Kill God! Kill Christianity! Kill Christ! Seems like this is the same way that secular humanists, nazis, and communists solve their problems. Getting out of hell through religion is too hard for them. They cannot see any skyhook, so they say, “Let us stay in hell.” They say that humans are habitual sinners against God’s laws, so “Let’s solve that problem by doing away with idea of sin and get rid of God., or, “Back-alley crimes have become so prevalent and have moved out into the streets, so let’s get rid of the problem by legalizing the back-alley crimes.”
Jack also makes no distinction between the Jews who have rejected Christ and those who in the past accepted him as the best and most perfect image of God ever to come along – the person who really changed their lives “miraculously”. Jack, despite his upbringing, perhaps never had that opportunity and so he sits down at his keyboard and pounds away like Nietzsche pounding on his piano before he went mad.
The secular humanists, atheists, agnostics and materialist of the world, those who have not sought or experienced the divine light, and who neither believe in a supernatural order open us or in any real hope other than moving to a better-furnished prison cell, always seem to be the ones running the world. No, God is not responsible for these evil. The people who are responsible are those who have rejected God or whose faith in him is so shallow and weak they think it is okay pretend the evils do not exist. They are the very people who evoke natural law to say on one hand that man is naturally good, and on the other, that nature teaches us that might make right. They are the powerbrokers manipulating all our systems who believe that the ends justify the means, and that there are no moral limits in the exercise of their powers. Thanks Jack great read as always. Life is really hard by its own discourse it has always been this way. I often think of the cheetah and how amazingly it is the only animal on earth to unhinge its spine to get that burst of speed. It would take unfathomable amounts of energy to achieve. If it catches its prey it takes at least 15min to calm down before it can eat. In that time it is very vulnerable. If it loses its prey it might not eat for days. My father didn’t call it hell he called it just a negative realm(it simply is what it is) we are here to learn from. He studied many many religions trying to find unconditional understandings. He simply said be your own religion.
