Part of the problem is that there are elements in the right wing Likud that want a Greater Israel….and are willing to wipe out the Palestinians to do so. Must follow what Israel does ..not what it says……just looking at the map of Israel versus Palestinians from 1947 to now shows you the pattern.,…there is no dispute. Like Macgregor says the Israelis have painted themselves into a corner by inadvertingly allowing the Arabs to get together on a potential and perhaps probable attack on Israel. Without atomic weapons Israel conceivably has no great chance.Of course at this stage everybody becomes the victim. The key to all of this in my opinion and I standby it was the 6 – 7 hr delay in the IDF response on Oct. 7th. An obnvious point that the mainstream media will not really consideror is hiding.. Obviously it is regarded as an intentional delay to augment the casualties on Israelis civilians so as to get Israeli as well as world opinion against Hamas and and the Palestinians. In essence the current regime under Natanyahu is complicit in the attck on the Gazan area Israelis.In my opinion this is a most obvious point.
